There is no doubt that he would do a great job as 007 but his true sexual preferences will be in the heads of his audience. Not everyone will care and many are unaware but I have already heard comments from women saying it ruins it for them not because they do not believe he could do a good job but because there is a level of fantasy with a character like bond.
