The fogging is the coating for the uv protection breaking down. Ive just bought a second hand pair with same problem as yours well ours lol. Just so i can leave a set in van to use. Wet and dry sand them until get to fine 3000 grit and they will come up great. My next job is i want to split mine to mod them. Maybe colour and halos and day runners which change to indicaters when activated

If its exterior I used a colgate tooth paste with the crystals in it a good bit of elbow grease a rag and toothbrush should bring them up better. Worked on my connect. RUclips it lol I'm sure it's on there
Thanks for the suggestions, I’m pretty sure it’s not a mist! I have tried polishing the outside of the lens but from what I can see it looks like it’s on the inside 🤷🏻♂️
@@coswecan great well hopefully you can split the lense and get it sorted. I'm really still shocked how well the toothpaste works though. But you must put a coat of wax on after to prevent re yellowing so quick.
Hi The only issue is what the last person used adhesive wise to glue them back together as it may not work putting them back in the oven . U need to find out if they've used silicone or some solvent based adhesive .
Did u manage to sort the headlights out mate ? I like how yours are black did you do this yourself heard they are a nitemare to get into, ive been looking online at upgrades but they arnt cheap haha, and cheers for the recommendation for the heko wind deflectors, got them this week and they are spot on 👍

If you take the small cap off the back it will let the air circulation and the mist should clear
Oven 60 degrees. 30 mins then flat blade screwdriver and a heat gun and plenty of time don’t rush 👍👍👍 mine to hour each to remove lenses

Remember if you do go down the polishing route that you'll need to re-paint them with clear coat or they will soon cloud over again.

If its mist inside then take the unit out and drill a small hole on the inside bottom casing to let any condensation weep out
Or 1500 wet and dry then 2000 wet and dry then g3 and a mop
Have you looked on the transit forum, I am sure there is something on there regarding splitting the lenses and some info on how to do it.
