Alté Natives amplified by SOUNDBOKS

Alté Natives is a collective of community-minded artists, musicians, and creatives with roots in an underground, expressionist music scene in Nigeria. Since 2019, they’ve been building a network and platform in Copenhagen, Denmark to create an inclusive and vital space for emerging artists and creatives to connect and express their true, whole selves.
“We moved to Copenhagen in 2019, and saw people were doing things in different silos,” says Emeka Onyenwe, one of the founders. “We didn’t find there was an inclusive community for immigrants and minorities. There was no space for people to come together, express themselves, and feel free…so we thought, why don’t we bring these people together? That’s where it kicked off…”
