This just in: Demiplane has just announced that the 4 new profiles made available on Marvel's site (Headpool, Lady Deadpool, Dogpool and Kidpool) WILL be made available on Demiplane soon. These files had not previously been made available to Demiplane, so it may take just a bit, especially with the Gencon crunch, but that's understandable since typically this information would be given to them with advance notice.
"Maybe Wolverine's claws are made of candy canes." Ok, then. I was not expecting an official Marvel product to reference the Codename: Kids Next Door Christmas-themed parody of the X-Men from like 20 years ago, but here we are.
I'd also add that the new profiles are free to download off Marvel's official site as well for those who want to print out the pre-gens for use in your games.
I got the physical copy from Amazon and yeah, I had a just blast reading through it. Agreed that Power Slider is very fitting for someone like Gladiator. My only gripe with the physical copy was that it doesn't include stats for the recommended deep cut villains they bring up towards the end, but that won't make or break my enjoyment overall. Pretty sure its just the physical copy that didn't get it as I believe their stats are available if you got it through Demiplane.
What's interesting is that when reading the book on Demiplane, the Headmen profiles are in the same section as the other profiles (all mixed in / alphabetical). So, there's no indication that you're reading bonus content. It makes me wonder if there are other changes between formats.
the comic for this book was perfect in it kind of gave a small feel as to how the characters act in the comics . Paladin was the only character i knew anything about out of the new ones . looking up who who the other where i came across Lyra She Hulk and her new power sounds neat and like you i thought of Gladiator . i wonder if some how this new power will somehow also work with Sebastian Shaw . the Power Slider power should boost Shaw as he gets hit so making him stronger then you have Strong Guy . Strong Guy when gets hit he then has to strike something to lose the power boost he just got . Shaw and Strong Guy are both kind of the same they get stronger as the take damage but both have to release it different as if Shaw takes to many hits he over loads and Strong Guy needs to release after every hit
If enough people make the suggestion I think they’d consider it! As a reminder to everyone you can just go to the FAQ submission link on the marvel.com/rpg site and send any questions you have directly to the team.
Oh, fun fact. The physical copy only includes Deadpool's Team, Deadpool himself, Wolverine, Doop and the Deadpool Bot. The Demiplane version includes the Headmen. The Marvel Website PDF of free profiles additionally includes the Deadpool Corps, likely as a tie in to the upcoming movie.
I suppose they left those four out for page count reasons, but I wish it was clearer that they didn't come with the physical copy - it could have impacted people's decisions on whether to buy physical or digital.
@@FuzzyOnTheDetails At the moment, I only have a physical collection of the four books for display purposes, but I do plan to buy them on Amazon at some point for sake of convenience. (Also helps that the digital versions get automatically updated, I believe.)

Thanks for the video! One step closer to being prepped for GenCon!

Yeah, I wonder if that is something they'll do for any pregens going forward?
@@FuzzyOnTheDetails I hope so, it was a nice treat they made all the profiles available for everyone to use.

Excellent video! I'm looking forward to giving this a go in the future. I appreciate you kept it spoiler free
Thank you!
It would be fantastic if Marvel included pdfs of all their maps for us to use online. It honestly baffles me that they haven't.
It could drive a lot of traffic to their site and be zero additional work.
Placed an order while watching.
Sweet! I hope you enjoy it!

Strong guy is a such a great character and yeah I think the power slider could work well on him!
So good, so good ..😂 cannot wait for Gen Con..Baby😜✌️
Are you going to GenCon in Indy?
I love hit monkey !!
Who could have predicted he would not only have his own show… but two seasons… and it would be great!
@@FuzzyOnTheDetails I'm not surprised , Hit monkey is awesome always has been a favourite character personally .
Yea, I wish that they would provide non-labeled player maps.

@@FuzzyOnTheDetails I keep forgetting that that is a thing. I will be sure to do that.

@@FuzzyOnTheDetails I think that answers why Marvel put up the profiles for free on their website.
Thanks for the tips
