- Due to the popularity of this film I figured I'd post another video on how it installs, this time on a Tesla side mirror. This is the only PPF in the world which has a paint resin layer but also comes with an air release adhesive which makes it install very similarly to most other color change films. What would be the best way to wrap the roof on a Chevy Blazer? I am almost certain that it is wider than 5 feet in both directions. Do you have to just put a seam right down the middle?
Weather it’s PPF or not. My coworker just had his car wrapped with this stuff and it’s head and shoulder glossier and better looking than regular vinyl.
PPF is typically glossier than cast and polymeric film. For an air release film it's also the glossiest I've ever seen.
It’s not PPF, just PET backing paper, the vinyl is same as normal PVC vinyl, but looks more glossy than normal paper backing.
@@dongliangchen7356 it actually is ppf its as thick as ppf (8 mil) and has same properties as ppf. I'm just finishing up a car in this.

Can we do the install like regular ppf with slip and take solution? I read some reviews and if we replace the material, it let's glue lines so, maybe with slip solution we should be able to avoid glue lines?

How come when I heat printed and lamanated 3M Envision vinyl, it distorts the color. But when I heat regular printed and laminated 3M Control Tac, it doesnt?
I've never used envision, doing print installs isn't my specialty unfortunately
That looks insane! If i were to do a PPF or wrap i would totally go for this.....just i ceramic coated my car. Installing this would it be more your PPF or color change class?
This would be more in the color change workshop since it acts and responds nearly the same way

What is the best lemon yellow gloss vinyl? Don't want anything orangy. Not 3m because I want something easier to use for my first wrap. I have fellers near me.
I'd suggest Avery, if you don't want to use 3M

@@Archeagle the colors have different pricing categories. I can't really say how much they are since the price will also vary country to country
I dont think its PPF cuz cutting line have 0 chance to cut through PPF. It is acutally PET liner vinyl right?
It is PPF, you need to use a specific cutting line to cut through it. I mentioned which type of cutting line it is and I said this is the most important tool.
The film is polyurethane, it's what PPF is typically made with.
