Congrats on going pro! All good. They want you because no one wants the Shamwow guy 😅. You help make their product legit by showcasing your integrity and skill which comes across refreshingly organic in a sea(ma) of egos and facades. I’ve done tint, vinyl and PPF for decades just on my personal vehicles and like others had to put up with naysayers until now. Even Tesla is offering oem ppf/wrap. So thanks for sharing and keep on the cutting edge…🙏🏼👊🏼🤙🏼
I appreciate this comment a lot cause I totally understand what you mean. I just talk about what I believe I know to my best ability. It's up to others to decide if that information is right for them. Either way, don't sweat it and just keep being real.
i wrap windows, floors, walls and sometimes partials, chris is always my go to when i get close to burn out. just got done with all the espn graphics at td arena for the charleston classic and feeling it. i needed this. thanks ck!!
You're obviously amazing at your job, but to be honest it has been a far bigger pleasure to watch you grow and get to this point. You're an inspiration brother, thank you.
That’s marketing nowadays though unfortunately. Social media is the only way our generation is doing to gain more business but doesn’t define their skills. I miss the old school way of business where you call most clientele or talk to them in person.
I've been practicing wrapping a lot this past year and I must say you make it look effortless. I always leave one of your videos with a new useful tip/trick

haven't been on your channel for a while and this popped up! Wow Chris, almost 400k subs, congratulations! Glad to see you at Sema getting the recognition you deserve!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video, Christian. I know that you had a successful and enjoyable week at SEMA and that you are looking forward to next year. Bravo.
Was awesome finally seeing you in person.....We've also done the same with our Flexishield installs. There was some unfortunate news about the installer from the year before.......he did the door jambs in the Lamborghini in one piece so was quite impressed....😢
@@CKWraps yeah I remember Beau.......sad news I heard this year on why he wasn't there.......but great seeing your demos and been following your videos for a long time!

It was pretty easy when you have their foam potion as a tack reducer. It makes a massive difference! I was definitely nervous because I hadn't ever used the film with the foam potion, but it went down well considering so many things were not normal for me. I didn't even have any of my usual tools or heat gun which threw off my vibe a bit. Next time I do this I'll make sure I bring the things I'm used to using.
I just wanted to say your video's have been helping a lot. I have been watching your and auravinyl video's and nkt only did it help me wrap my own car but recently got accepted by my local garage to start training as a car wrapper and eventually work there and so far my work has been above average. I would't have gotten that oppertunity if i didn't watch your video's so thank you very much!
I always enjoy these types of comments. Nothing is better than hearing how others have succeeded, or are succeeding. Keep enjoying what you do and you'll keep doing great at it!
watching you wrap that hood was like watching a suspense movie. I was thinking, "Now he's stuck, there's no way he getting those wrinkles out". Then you stretched them out. Happened at least 5 times. Awesome work!
Inozetek is Aliexpress. Flexishield is TPU and made in Chandler AZ. I've seen their manufacturing plant in person. TPU is naturally more pliable than polymeric, it's why people who install clear PPF can easily stretch the film without using heat.
Color changes are easy all day it’s the printed graphic vinyl that’s a pain in the ass sometimes having to line up every panel on a bus or trailer with crazy graphics it puts up a fight
lol, I was stressing a bit but honestly not as much as I thought I would. Once I was done I wanted to do more and felt a lot better. Kept telling myself that I've done this thousands of times and that this is just another one of those times.
Thats what i wanted to see. .see a problem in real life and know how to solve it. The other guys post videos, and everytjing is perfect..not a single mistake .. 😊
Hi, could you please do a comparison between Stek and Flexishield carbon ppf? They seem to be the only ones I can find online, but nobody's done a comparison. Been watching your channel for years. Gave me the confidence to wrap my own car with zero experience. Massive thanks!
Except Avery doesn't last and look nearly as good. This film will self heal from almost all scratches, and the gloss finish makes Avery look like you 720P while this is 4K. Colors are similar, but this shifts and flows so much better.
Christian, Do you have any suggestions on wrapping a super curvy mirror? Trying to figure out how to wrap the mirrors on my Porsche 986 and really struggling. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)
Hey, these types of questions are best asked on my website. There's no way to keep up with all of the social media questions, but we also can't post pictures here.
They only had 30 degree blades when I was there, otherwise I do prefer the standard 53 degree blades. Unfortunately I didn't bring any of my own tools with me as I wasn't expecting to do a demo like that but it just felt like a good time for it.
Someone else had initially applied it to the hood, I personally would have use a little less. If you think it was harder with it on then you should see what it's like without it.
It's just a cheap no name blade. I didn't have my tools with me so had to use what I was supplied with. Flexishield is the brand of film being applied. They also have other products.

I agree. I remember when he started and he had a tarp over the driveway so that he could wrap cars. He has come a long way since then.
Your technique is insane. The way you read the film with the heat was grest to watch
Ckwraps is the one wrapper thats not a tool. The rest are instagram reels tools that put more work in their reels than their vinyl.

It's not possible to compare them. One is wet apply and the other is dry apply.

Hey, these types of questions are best asked on my website. There's no way to keep up with all of the social media questions, but we also can't post pictures here.
Will the bubbles eventually disappear by themselves or do you need to prick them?
Those aren't bubbles. There was already debris and imperfections in the clear PPF that was already on the hood.
@@CKWraps Thanks for the clarification, Christian.
That was a bit tricky....do you use 90° blades ? 22:51
They only had 30 degree blades when I was there, otherwise I do prefer the standard 53 degree blades. Unfortunately I didn't bring any of my own tools with me as I wasn't expecting to do a demo like that but it just felt like a good time for it.
Is it the camera or are there tiny air bubbles all over the wrap by the time the edges were being heated?
do you recommend using a torch or heat gun?
Never, most brands including 3M will mention that you should not use a torch when installing color change films.
can you use knifeless tape with this?
Yes, but precision line.
Wheres ya wrap Glove bro?? 20:43
That tack reducer made that film install way harder😂
Someone else had initially applied it to the hood, I personally would have use a little less. If you think it was harder with it on then you should see what it's like without it.
Can someone inform me if I can put vinyl on top of vinyl? I want to have a base color and put some different shapes on top
People put racing stripes over top of wraps all the time.
Is he using stainless or steel blade?
The flexi shield is the liquid he apply before the installation?
It's just a cheap no name blade. I didn't have my tools with me so had to use what I was supplied with. Flexishield is the brand of film being applied. They also have other products.
I worked in a shop before but I did window tints and PPF but Ive never wrapped a car. It looks like you need more patient and experience with wrapping. Awesome job!
Why didn’t you just use the palm technique in the recessed areas?
Because that technique isn't for all brands and is mostly for amateurs. Professionals strive to look for and use better routes.
were you nervous working in a different environment also with a crowd watching ?
I thought I'd be more nervous, but I was a little bit. I just tried to imagine that I was running one of my workshops and it helped a lot.
