Any issue with lens flare (rainbow effect when taking pictures in direct sunlight for Magic 5 Pro)?
Yes sometimes, but cupping your spare hand over the lens when you see it prevents. You see the rainbow effect on the screen first, so can just cup your hand once it's gone.
may i know where to buy magic 5 pro in KL ?
My current phone is Huawei but in the future i might switch to Honor since it's still Huawei but with GMS and better hardware specs
Switched from P40 pro :D And i got Honor watch GS3 for free during preorder in Serbia... dif in price for same specs Honor VS Samsung 500 euros! + got watch for free...so it adds up to 800-900 euros cheaper!
Honor no longer under Huawei since Huawei already sold Honor to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co. Ltd. But for me better than other company rather than Huawei
how about overral update support for honor? Have herad they are pretty bad at upadting regularly, is it true? Im currently decideing Honor Magic5 pro or S23 Ultra, in my region honor 12/512 costs 1199 euros and s23 ultra 12/512 is 1289 euros. So which is better buy?
So far it has been decent, though software update won't be as frequent as Samsung nor does it lasts as long, one thing good about the M5P is being less bloated, which keeps it way more responsive in the long run.
Just buy S23 Ultra, it's amazing, I was choosing between those 2 and price difference was 850£ vs 1250£ for 512G both, but I decide to get S23 Ultra, it's just 1 step higher than Honor. If Samsung would be on Exynos I would be first who's gonna recommend you Honor, but S23 Ultra is all around the world Snapdragon this year, so go for it. I have 2 weeks with this phone and I can't complain about nothing, in those 2 weeks I already get 2 updates.
@@NiKoJlaY I returned my honor today. It had issues on RUclips. I managed to get the s23 ultra 12gb/512 for £969 and a case and £300 adidas vouchers too.

@@NiKoJlaY samsung student website. they offer it for £1119 the graphite and other colours £1199. They give £150 off for any phone trade in. I cancelled and re ordered as they now giving galaxy buds2 pro extra on top of the case and the £300 adidas vouchers. So glad mine didnt come yet because i cancelled and got the wireless earphones for free too!

Honor magic 5 pro vs s23+???
First I got the s23 ultra and soon after that I realised that this phone has a BIG ISSUE. Namely cheap 240Hz powered PWM screen! My mistake I should check it before buy but there is so many positive reviews out here who fooled me. Soon after start using the s23 ultra I start feeling eye strain, fatigue, my night's sleep was disturbed. I know that I'm sensitive to PWM but I didn't check the phone.I also know that no one is sensitive to PWM first but if you use such devices you will get sensitive in some time. Samsung should be ashamed to sell in 2023 such unhealthy devices also in my opinion such devices should be not allowed for sale in any country. At the end I returned the s23 ultra and got Magic 5 pro and I'm more then a happy. More phone for less money and the screen is feeling a way better it has 2160 DC dimming and I don't feel any eye strains.
That is a very underrated feature not many will understand, glad that the M5P solved your eye fatigue issues.
How is the phone now?
Got mine (2nd hand) few weeks ago and that high PWM dimming rate makes the difference - at least compared to my previous Oppo Reno7 5G.

Well it's a manual lens switch, and there isn't a macro mode per se.

You are correct. And the lens auto switching is turned on by default. So if you get it close to a subject, the lens will change to the ultrawide, hence it goes into Macro Mode.

as today my Honor Magic 5 Pro in elevate refresh rate mode plays fullscreen RUclips in 30fps.
Software quality is bad, it's time to switch back to Galaxy

S23 Ultra takes micro photos as well but it doesn't work at night
I use the s23 ultra for 5 days n i really cannot get use to that stupid sharp edges deisign. Same goes for the 23 n 23 plus boxy design. Stupid
this is the reason i sold my s22 ultra and did not get the s3 ultra now the s24 released with the same stupid sharp edge design will just wait with s21 ultra dsgn hopefully.
I was choosing between those 2 phones , and I get Galaxy S23 Ultra . I just can't deal with that huge notch from Honor, seriously it's so ugly, why not to put it at list in the middle of the screen... Yeah Honor is better for the price but, overall Samsung is awesome.
Now about review , it's so unprofessional , you just chose some things that Honor doing at the same level with Samsung, and you said your subjective point of view that you like Honor more and that's it. Nothing about video, sound, wireless sound (where Samsung with AKG is a king), more pictures comparison in different scenarios with different cameras, front camera on Honor isn't better at all + it doesn't have 4k 60 fps for video . Honor 4k 60 fps it's only 15 min available to record and many other things where Samsung it's really good you just skip, looks like you was interested in make Honor a winner in this battle. Honor is a winner only at the price category , in general like a 2023 Android flagman Samsung is better.

@@klgadgettv IDK if it's sponsored or not, but you're definitely on the Honor side. In that type of battle like you did, even a Poco phone can win against S23 Ultra. You can say aaaa Poco has 9500mAh battery, Poco has 500 V fast charge + have a charger in the box and Poco is 5 times cheaper than S23 Ultra, so Poco is better. Easy.

@@josecuesta8994 Yeah, I'm not a Samsung fan at all, I have a very bad experience with Galaxy Note 9 on Exynos , but when Samsung is doing a really good product , I need to recognise that and S23 Ultra is that case. This video is just about nothing, some random things about both phones where review-er is trying to make Honor a winner.Looks like he use those phones only for 5 minutes when he was shooting the video, in general he's a daily iPhone user, and he's using some Android phones only for making a video (maybe sponsored).

Only lay people take a short comparison, which falsely says that the S23 Ultra doesn't do macro and they give credit... lol... it's ridiculous not to know that the S23u has one of the 3 best macro photos in the world today.
And it still doesn't show long distance zoom, it doesn't show the video performance, it doesn't show the high resolution mode, it doesn't show the professional results generated in the RAW files, and it even says that the Honor Magic 5 Pro photo, the most processed of the world according to some channels, it is less processed than that of the S23 Ultra... kkk... the photo looks like a painting... it is the height of digital photography.
Finally, he says that he prefers the oil painting of Magic's selfie... lol... a little humility to recognize the best selfie in the world along with Apple's, would be the least, right?

Well, Honor mostly wins on a price point and that also depends on the region. It cost around the same where I live, so Samsung all the way for me, was an easy choise.
