    The entitlement factor is huge for applicants rn. I hear military recruiters talking about it. I hear civilian recruiters talking about it. They're not hiring you guys and you guys are annoying them. It's an increasing problem in our society. I want this job. I want to leave at this time so I can make it to this concert 😂. Their parents following up on their children's resumes for them. You can't get ahead being entitled. You're Air Force recruiter is getting money, going to school for free, traveling and having their best life. They watch you come into their office and then disappear and float around like sheep and come back to their office a year later because you were scared and soft or because everything wasn't perfect in the entitlement thought. You're putting your life on PAUSE being entitled. You have to work from the bottom to get where you want. Stop wasting time.

      Which is why the military is not for everybody sorry there was a guy on RUclips names Vermont coyote. He deleted his account but he wasted 20 years in the airforce simply because his parents wanted him gone at 18 so he chose the airforce for education reasons. He served his time but that 20 years of service made him complain about his military lifestyle. College is another option or tradeschool what recruiters tend to do is market and not give the reality of military life. I think the military should take high schoolers or recruits on trips to bootcamp so they can see before they go I'd this place for them. Unfortunately the military also lower the standards for those with or had adhd or bipolar. With the desperate need of soldiers thats a red flag.

Good thing about the reserves you get the job that you want and that you qualify for. If some dirt bag recruiter tells you otherwise don't listen to them and find another good recruiter. At the end of the day it's your 6 years plus 2 years inactive that you can't get back. Best of luck to you. If you have any questions in regards to the reserves don't hesitate to reply. I waited a total of 4 months prior to my enlistment. In addition, drill weekends they'll pay for your hotel if you stay on base then they cover that as well. You just need to figure out your own form of transportation. Fun fact: When you ship out for your job in the reserves you go through the pipeline, you don't take any leave like active duty does. You out process out of your base your supervisor can drop you off at the airport or you can drive yourself. Make sure to take screenshots of the invoice if you take an uber coming back from tech school; you'll get an reimbursement of your money. You'll send the screenshot to your wing support group at your base.

The question I have that I cannot find is how does broken bones work… let’s say I broke my metatarsal bone for my pinky.. I got it surgically fixed by the top orthodpedic surgeon in the state with a metal t plate. Saying that does that mean I can join or no? Even if I had the proper surgery and it was 5 years ago. In order to be a pilot you’d first have to obtain citizenship and a 4 year degree. Once you have those, you can apply.

    Off topic but I was diagnosed with adhd in first grade and I took medication throughout my childhood but I have not used any medication or academic accommodations in over four years would I still require a waiver?

    • @Jodywithawhy
      @Jodywithawhy  3 года назад

      Most likely. You’ll still have to gather all of your medical records regarding the ADHD, and hope the chief medical officer at MEPS clears you. If they don’t, your records will then go to our Surgeon General for waiver approval. I don’t know if you’ve seen this or not, but this video will help you better your chances of getting qualified.

      It really depends on your transcripts from college. They’d want to see record of your performance and focus since you’ve last started taking medication. I realized I never gave you the link to the video to watch. Lol. ruclips.net/video/ynKjsxegEPE/видео.html
