  • Hello and Welcome to Series 1 Episode 1 of Wild Camping in The Peak District. In this Video
Me and Dave Park at Edale Carpark and Hike From The Very Start of the Pennine way. The route we took climbs Jacobs Ladder and then follows round to the Woolpacks at the top of Kinder Scout 600m above sea level where we setup camp. To add kinder scout is one if not the highest point in the East Midlands. With heavy rain cold temperatures we braved the storm with dark setting in fast it very quickly turned into a survival situation, we had to limit filming to setup camp as fast as possible. with the tents setup we was able to change into dry clothes and keep warm for the remainder of the night. We cooked Our Cheese Burgers and cracked a can of guinness. The next morning we packed down out camp and headed down Crowden Clough back to the car park in Edale. All in all we had a Fantastic Night,
This Route is NOT for the Faint Hearted
