I've been searching for pedals for days and days because I'm actually a lead vocalist I love that super chorus because that would be really good on someone's vocals to double their voice, then go into a delay slapback, and really good Reverb, to make a really straightforward Studio sounding voice

Just received the Dolamo Fuzz and it's fantastic. My favourite fuzz after the ehx Sovtek big muff.
Love the face when you turned the Fuzz on! What a great sounding and looking unit. I like the gray Distortion too
the tiny knobs look funny on those enclosures
So I just got my Patron package and one of y’all two S.O.Bs made me choke up a little when I pulled out the Dolamo Mixing Boost I was even looking at boosts last night. Hodad’s on me next time I’m in town I love this pedal
The grey distortion is the Caline Mark 4 Distortion.
Nice to see an Alamo Amp in the background. I have a 60s tweed 1×10 Embassy my grandpa used that I use wet/dry with an Egnater Tweaker and it's sound awesome

@@zoogboog106 The Tweed or the "Blackface" style? They are hard to find any info on, but I see them on reverb around $500 or so.

So yours is the tube pre and power amp right? Cause I think they went hybrid sometime in the late 70s or early 80s with solid state pres and tube power amps.
@@Trinin yeah the tube chart says 6AV6 12AX7A 6V6 5Y3GT. It has vintage Tung Sol and RCA tunes in it at the moment and until they burn out. They must be at least 40-50 years old at this point. The last person to play the Amp before me was my grandfather. And I didn't know till after he past away he even played guitar. The speaker says "Application Engineered for Alamo Electronics Corporation" with about a 1 1/2 inch diameter alnico magnet. has built in switchable tremolo that's pretty subtle so the intensity needs to be cranked. I usually run itat about 6.5 on the volume so it's on the edge of break up so when I play soft it's clean but overdrive when I dig in. Then of course use a ton of pedals. It's a really cool caving in on itself sound when it gets pushed hard and pairs well with a more voxy sound I run on my egnater. Tweed and AC together is probably my favorite Amp combination so I'm glad I can approximate that vibe.
Those are some fun pedals! And I'm in love with that Starcaster!

I use the DI on my bass pedal board, it does the job well enough. Nothing fancy but it works well for my home recording. Better than paying $200+ for a more well-known brand.
Tremolo reminded me of old tube amps which had a tremolo and a dial for control, but basically had only two speeds - a slow and fast. So, I found it “old amp-like”. Specifically, a Premier.

That chorus sounds exuctly like the “build-in ” chorus in an old fender “sidekick 15 chorus” amp (my first ever practice amp) …

The grey one is meant to duplicate the Mark IV (Mesa) just like the Caline (they share internals)…I have every Dolamo drive pedal except the TS (I have 5 TS clones already!) and the only thing about them I don’t like is the knobs, so I switch them out 👍 Great pedals for the price 😁
since u have every dolamo drive pedal, which distortion is better between the mark IV (grey) and high gain distortion (black and red)?

The two boosts might be a DOD 250 (purple?) clone and an MXR Distortion+ (powder blue?) clone. Judging by how much you liked them :) Same board, a coupla different components... win-win.

Idk bout these but on your old vids I bought the yellow and green dolamo and they sound great I got the yellow which even jhs guy said sounded like a klon I got dialed into my horsie klon and the green dolamo dialed close to my original 808. I play em together through an original 98,’ drri with a Harley Benton 335 and play pantera, lamb of god stuff but can click off a pedal and get great cleans. Their Great pedals for the money.

I like that Distortion, sounds like you could get a passable Sabbath tone out of it? Might need an EQ pedal with it to add versatility...

The Dolamo D5 Mark 4 distortion is based on a Mesa Boogie Mark IV.
Please do a praise and worship affordaboard! I’m a praise and worship musician now. I haven’t had a pedal board in years because I wasn’t playing guitar for anyone. I’d love to see your take on that.
The twin gain distortion is like a orange amp l. Is it a mosfet pedal with gain 1+2 being volume of the fet trany. But it sounds great

Chorus with a slight auto-wah effect - thanks to the non-adjustable feedback in the specific case - was named Flanger more than 40 years ago. In some languages - for example, Russian - it was also called comb-shaped resonances.🤓
Personally, the Chorus seems more like an electronic replacement for a Leslie speaker to me?🤔

RYAN CHECK OUT THE PRESSURE TANK FROM CALINE / awesome comp for the money , can go fom zero effect , to subtle , to great funky squash , it's a great Diamond Comp clone , with a very useful tone control , much better than Keeley 2 knobs and + version ( and less noisy ) .
Also , You Need to give the Caline Enchanted Tone another chance : it's a Vertex Six String Singer clone , just as good as the original that everybody raves about !
The 2 boosts are a re-housing of Caline' s Purple Smoke and White Heat ( mixing boost ) , the purple smoke ( clear boost ) is the simplest circuit ever ( 1 transistor 4 caps ) , and it's a really good base for D.I.Y ( add pots or change caps to turn it into a Keeley Java or Katana style , a treble booster , or simply add clipping diodes pairs on a switch and you have access to virually every single Lovepedal circuit !
I think I'd have put the trem after the boost in the signal chain. Probably would have sounded better.

I ordered a Dolamo Tremolo, and the internal Pots weren't set. Can't remember if I could set the maximum speed any higher than your unit

That super chorus is super interesting
Totally get what you mean by the doubling sound, almost like a slapback like how chorus and flange came about in the classic tape recording studios.
I also wonder if it’s using a different shape waveform, I know chorus and vibrato are very similar circuits but one uses a sin wave while the the other uses triangle wave.

Please do a praise and worship board and direct into P/A board. I’ve been trying to find a good video on it but haven’t found one that didn’t involve a line 6 pod or a strymon iridium! Lol
I don’t play electric at church but you might want to check out the Quilter Phantom Block. 99 bucks, phantom powered DI box with cab sim/flat response toggle, master volume, tone, and gain controls.
They also just came out with a $250 25w amp pedal with fx loop and different voices that also has DI out...
Lemme know of you wanna get rid of the Dolamo D-6 Clear Boost. I dig that a lot.

I had The DI and I’m not gonna watch this video but if he doesn’t say it stay away from that DI the 2 1/4 inch outputs I have totally different output levels it’s weird.

I bought one of these, too- just got it today. Sounds like a muff with a mid-cut switch. Not sure yet if it's got quite as much sustain as my Fuzz Moo, which is my go-to "violin tone" muff, but it's got plenty of gain and bite. Noisy, but as far as I've seen that's pretty normal for muffs.

@@googaboogaloo No, mine doesn't. I just tried it with one of my humbucker-equipped guitars and it won't so looks like no for mine. My favorite octave fuzz is my Danelectro French Toast. That is a killer octave pedal and it is cheap!!
