Can you imagine how blended the contents of that tank will be after the trip back off of the trail... should have a sticker on the tank that says Shaken, Not Stirred
I think i could deal with the poo as long as i got to drive that up and down the Rubicon. I love builds like this off road with a real working purpose.
A front facing camera and a 12” display monitor would help when you can’t see over the hood, or want to get your tires on the exact line without a spotter.
Beat a 250 at what? I was just informed that the factory puts in the same light weight trans and diff on them all until one ton and up. I will never buy a 3/4 ton again
That they use 250 axles and keep overloading them with big tires and can't stop, ball joints failing. Why not start with something that can take the abuse.
@@4X4F250Diesel Ah yeah, I agree. I own a F350 myself. F250s have weaker parts, it is true. But a F550 is way too big for what I need. Can't get it in a SRW configuration and it is more expensive to maintain than a F350.

That F550 is built tough! The axle rear diff pumpkin is huge and the axle shafts diameter and splines compared to regular axle blew my mind. I'd like to see what the rear ring gear and pinion gear sizes look like compared to something like a d44
Someone talk to LKQ dismantlers,. That thing will need a v10 and trans sooner or later,. I know it's owned by placer county but it would be great if we could get busines sponsors to help maintain and keep this thing running..
That truck is amazing. One question. Why did you choose to build the tank out of steel and not aluminum? It would have been lighter allowing a higher capacity!
Nice truck! Heres to hoping folks in Murica recognize that internal combustion engines are integral to our way of life! And just as importantly, need to pay as much attention to our health and what we put into our bodies as what we put into our vehicles.
Getting paid to pump s--t in not your purposely built offroad rig and its paid for by the county while you collect a paycheck. Appears to be a dream job!
It's rare that I'm proud to be a human being. This is one of those rare times. On a side note, I've never wanted to have the career of 'cleaning poopers' more than I do right now. What's the pay to drive the Rubicon Trail in a badass truck like this? Can I apply somewhere?

that is a rad build. common sense, no-nonsense, fully functional. well done
Love the build and lack of ricey bro wheels
thankful for this dude keeping the trail clean which helps keep it open.
yea, where i live they just closed ALL of the trails to solve the problems that they encountered

Check out blackriveroffroad on IG they have a camera system that shows all 4 tires too.
I have one inside my pass side wheelwell so i can see infront of the tire.
It helps cus some spotters are dumb.
im building one in on my fj to self spot using a selectable switch to run front and rear cameras on a 7 inch in dash unit
I ran into this rig last Thursday on the trail. It was cool to see it in person
The fact that so much was donated to make this happen is awesome!
Awesome build. Appreciate these guys that do the work that happens in the background no one really pays attention to. Thanks
The new Rubicon Trail prayer, "Lord, please don't let the poop truck out wheel me!"

What an awesome build!
This truck is a BEHEMOTH! It came out great too and it looks like it's going to make that job much more manageable.
Way to keep the trail clean and open for us all. Good work guys.
I saw this at the placerville fairgrounds while in training 3 weeks ago
An awesome build, exo cage layout doesn't distract from the entire build.
That’s a bad ass pooper pumper.
Man that v10 would be a torque monster with those gears
Awesome looking truck and great that there keeping the trail clean and open
thats a badass build. I wouldve never thought of a f550 gasser but now after seeing this i want one
I know pumping the pooty dupe is not glamorous but what an awesome job to have best office view ever!
I just saw this truck on Highway 50 in Meyers this morning.
I genuinely love the name poop truck
Much respect for this guy and his job. Awesome job. The truck is amazing
That is a badass Ford right there. I want one. The exoskeleton is awesome.

That looks like a bullet proof build. Well executed gents
Epic. Thanks for posting this.
Badass build and one helluva work truck!!!
I want a pop truck now
That could be the most important truck on the trail
