Osborn and then Jameson, both were politically suppresive on Spider-Man. They tried to make him look like those people he hated the most and that was they themselves(i.e. bloody shitting villains). Framing a superhero who sacrificed so much for the good, as a traitor and a villain is the biggest defeat you could give him. That's the main reason why I think Jameson is the second most troubling figure to Spider-Man even though he was'nt a supervillain. But do remember that he did arranged some assassinations on him.

That show was amazing for the few (very few) episodes it had, a great plot and brilliant backstories and awesome action; not to forget humorous funny moments.
Fun Fact: Uncle Ben NEVER said the famous phrase; it was actually Stan Lee (or narrator) that says these famous lines.

I think having his body switched with doc ock was the worst one. Ock destroyed literally EVERYTHING Peter worked hard for. A place in the Avengers, married to Mary-Jane, and friendship with black cat. The damage doc ock did, I have a seriously hard time peter will be able to fix all of it.

Dylan Thobe I really hope that they retcon "Superior Spider-Man" into being that Otto actually died for real, and in trying to take over Peter's body, he fucked up and only managed to brainwash Peter into thinking that he was Otto Octavius.
Or better yet, just delete it from continuity, along with most of Dan Slott's rum.

If Mephisto drained the soul of their future daughter and used that power on the world or something without asking then you would have a point
But he consciously chose that instead of letting his aunt may (who probably had numerous health issues creeping up due to old age) die and living a peaceful eternity with uncle ben & his parents
I do agree that gwen stacy is hyped up too much by people though. Her death is a tragedy yes but everyone acts like they were soul mates when it was just one of his first serious relationships
Its sad that out of all the hundreds of Marvel Universes in the Multiverse of Marvel, there is only 2 possible universes where Peter and Gwen have a successful relationship without one of them dying or them getting together with other people? Seriously!
Examples of Universes where Peter and Gwen don't get together because of certain tragedies or other reasons include:
Main Universe: Gwen dies
Amazing Spider-man Movieverse: Gwen dies
Ultimate: Gwen Stacy dies, gets cloned and Peter still ends up with MJ.
Marvel Adventures: Peter ends up with a mutant named Chat
House of M: Peter dies
Spider-Gwen: Peter dies
Other Spider-Gwenverse: Gwen ends up with Miles Morales for some reason
What If Gwen Stacy Lived?: J. Jonah Jameson gets evidence that Peter is Spider-man, has cops attempt to arrest him on his and Gwens wedding, causing Aunt May to faint and forcing Peter to flee and go on lamb, leaving Gwen devistated
Etc.
Exmples where Peter possible gets together with Gwen and have a sucessful relationship include:

But seriously, As much as I love Peter and MJ, I do sometimes wish that there is a Peter Parker/ Spider-man or a Gwen Stacy/Spider-Gwen that ends up with each other without having to suffer.

#3 Mary Jane’s miscarriage was a devastating blow because it was Norman that orchestrated the death and the worst part is that at that time Peter Parker was a chemistry teachers d Norman was the owner of the school. In the school Norman tells Peter in the school that he killed his child. Peter was ready to kill Norman in the school where Norman charms with a smug “You do not want to kill me and reveal who you really are in front of the school now right?!?”. That scene boiled my blood rage. Very good but the vile Norman is really pisses me off.
Caleb Lantigua exactly imho they should’ve not revived him and kept him dead in Goblin’s last stand, bringing him back ruined everything, no proper conclusion, Clone Saga and Sins Past, And he doesn’t pay any permanent consequences for his actions.

They again have his arch enemy kidnap his daughter and presumably murder her..
They have him raped and tortured and state that it's funny
Out of all the heroes he's probably the only one who has not had any loved one back from the dead..

Because they're designed to indefinitely, they have no true end point, so you can't get invested in any of their storylines.
I don´t see how that stops you from getting invested. Retcons do that but series that are consistently long running usually gave characters much more depth that short series.

I want that list because the webhead might be one of marvel's most lighthearted heroes but he's been suffering a lot since the 60's
I followed ultimate Spider-Man starting when I was in 3rd grade. Man that was a ride. It was so grounded, linear, intense and a story about adolescence and growth.
This could also almost be a list of top 5 dumbest Spider-man stories

Biggie Cheese oh it was, and originally there was suppose to be something that come from, except Marvel editorial decided not to pursue it because they felt the Peter having a child made him older, so when story about Peter finding May, which was suppose to the baby name" and who was actually meant to be in the grave, he found Aunt May instead.
Chief Bill oh it's still included, evidenced by the fact that they kept referencing it in the Spider-Man/Deadpool and recently in Slotts Amazing Spider-Man #795, except they want us to believe that the version that happened in One Moment In Time was how things really went down, and that it was all Mary Jane and not Peter that agreed to the deal, than what really happened in One More Day, and when Mary Jane whispered in Mephisto's ear what she really said was "You will make me remember everything"

and Quesada himself said that there's a third part to this, with OMD and OMIT being the first and second, but when we'll actually get to it, we don't know, and maybe never will.
Animehunter Fail, I honestly think this deserves more hate then OMD(or as much) it does not get as much hate or infamy as that, plus from that on I hated Osborn for that and #8 on this list.

Hey guys you forgot one story that Spider-Man did on one comic book called One More Day Aunt May gets shot and trying to find a way save her but at the end of the comic he made a deal with Mephisto and he sold his marriage to Mephisto so Aunt May was alive totally forgot everything about Mary Jane but Mary Jane remembers worst comic book ever.

Spider-Man is one of my favorite Avengers and Marvel characters.
in that storyline where mj loses their baby,what no one ever found out is what happened to the baby ? it was never revealed and it lead up to a final showdown between peter and norman and all you find out is there is no baby being held captive by norman only the real aunt may.
this was one of the stupidest things marvel did to both peter parker/spider-man and to the fans who were looking forward to seeing him become a dad.
now a days marvel comics just plain sucks when it comes to their comics not including star wars cause they have done pretty good with that so far. but in the case of their super hero comics like spider-man,captain america,iron man,thor,ect.
they are all just plain hot garbage.

Mr Negative is Two-face rip off, Spiderverse is a rip off of the spider-wars story arc from 90s cartoon just expanded and the spiderisland was medriocre.
