Mark Williams, Lord give me the country ! Picture a log cabin near a stand of aspen, smell the smoke from the hickory log on the fire and hear the water churning from the creek running into the willow lined lake, where a linked just jumped out of the water, startling the buck that was getting a drink. Ahh, peace on earth !
John this stuff is awesome brother. Beautiful places, really quality and quantity of fish. Thanks for inviting us all to tag along. Can't wait for the next adventure.
I caught some stick fish and a couple of leaf fish yesterday morning. In the afternoon I caught a tan and a buzz. Another successful day if i say so myself.
Love your fishing videos and Christian testimony. Reminds me of my college days back in the late 60’s early 70’s when I would fish Stoner Creek near Paris KY at Claiborne horse farm. Wonderful setting with mostly rock bass and beautiful thoroughbreds coming to drink!
My friend, you never cease to amaze me. You can go anywhere and catch just about anything that is in the water. Great Video. Keep em coming. That's the way it is when the anointing is on. Blessings Bishop Keith Kirby
First, thanks for all the great videos. Brought back a lot of childhood memories fishing creeks in Taylors, SC. Those memories got steamrolled when at 14, the family moved to central Florida and an old abandoned phosphate pit a mile behind our house. (Catching tiny bluegill, sunfish, red-ear, and few variety of bass faded from memory) Thanks to you there was one species we caught in just one section of the creek (fast moving water, shallow, completed shaded and no wider than 8 feet) For 40 years I never got an answer from experts what this fish was. Could only catch it on a Little Cleo. It had one defining feature- Spikes/horns on top of it’s head. Again, thanks to your videos, the memories of fishing this creek for hours, packing up a couple bologna and cheese sandwiches and my Cub Scout steel canteen with Kool-Aid, I finally did some research on what that fish was- Hornyhead Chub! Have you stumbled on this fish in Tennessee?
Seeing you catch trout with the Helgrammite warms my heart. I just made my very first Nikko brand order using your discount. Very soon I will be hitting a private pond with trout in it and I was just wondering if trout will bite a Helgrammite. Now I know, thanks!
In that first creek, if those trout and smallies were eating the hellgrammite that well, you should go back with a light fly rod and a wolly bugger. It would be a blast! (and good content, of course)
I really like your videos. I been wading creeks bass fishing for over 20 years. I've always mainly used top water. I've caught largemouth over 6lbs and smallmouth over 4 in creeks only waist deep. I live in Tennessee too
You proved it once again, down sizing lures can really pay off. It's funny that you said how much better you have become with time and experience. I was thinking the same thing when you were smashing all those fish and your buddy really wasn't. It pays to get out there and fish. Tomorrow our fishing opens statewide, so finally I can get out there and do the catching instead of watching lol. Great video once again.
Man every time I watch your videos it takes me back to about twenty years ago when I was living in Dickson, Tn and fishing the creeks! I wish I would of had a GoPro back then! I didn’t even have a smart phone back in those days, I use to just take a disposable camera with me.
Even tho these may not be big fish we are pulling out of these creeks, watching you catch smallmouth in creeks is the coolest thing ever. I have a pond that I can go catch double digit bass whenever I want to, but I would much rather wade creeks for smallmouth. Keep it up 👍
You have a pond that you can catch “double digit” bass in?! WOW!!! You are blessed, or pulling our legs!!! Please show some of your “double digit” bass catches on U-Tube!
I’m from an area right outside of Nashville and fish nearly exclusively in creeks and streams. Watched a lot of fishing videos on RUclips before I found your channel. Good luck going forward! Glad you can make this your living now man.
It would be nice at the end of ur videos to do an equipment segment to show exactly what baits, rod and reels, lines, etc. This would let some of ur younger or less experienced viewers see the equipment up close.
Yes and U make another one. Just a suggestion to John to maybe help his great videos. Do U think a 8 year old would know what all that detailed info means if he/ she did read it.
@@CreekFishingAdventures Think back about 6-7 years ago. You had just gotten your first payment from RUclips, and you had 425 Subscribers. Wow! You've come a long way, my Man! Keep pressing onwards and upwards!
Wow! Amazing videos this spring! Those spot sure give the smallies some competition on how hard they fight. You finally found a local fishing spot that I don't recognize 😉. Keep at it! You keep hauling in trophy fish this spring! Congrats!
One of those fishing spots looked an area I know of near a shooting range. I saw some bass swimming in the deep hole there last winter when I was just driving around the mountains in Tennessee.
Slayed some crappie all day on some bass and crappie minners. Now ending this amazing day with dinner and a creek fishing adventure video. Life is good 👍🏻
Loved those big spots in the creek! They would be bucket list fish for me! Haven't been in a creek all year, too busy trying to catch a 12 inch bluegill! Blessings!
Dude. You are such a good fisherman. Crazy. I like how you hit your hand to release the hook. That alone is a sign of a ‘seasoned ‘ fishermen. Thanks for the video. Be safe! God bless !!
Wow, another great day on the water, seems like lightweight gear is the way to go, I have to get some Helgramites, looks like that’s your go to bait, nice catches!
Great video. Do you find that the high vis braid reduces your catch ratio? I'd like to try that because I think it would be much easier for my eyes but wonder about the fish getting spooked. What are your thoughts?
I saw that truck that evening. Beer and Polk county pot holez on Gee Creek not a good mix. It would probably been me headed to camp site 7 trying to get there before the crowd sho up. But whats the odds you making this video and i probably missed ya by just a few hours. I also had a blessed catch that evening.
Good day sir, What size and what kind of jig are you using sir? Great content. I always look forward in seeing your recent uploads. Does the jig have to match the soft plastic?
Your fishing brings me back to when I was growing up in Wisconsin. Your excursions just don't get old.love it love it love it don't change a thing.
Kenny kempka , here here !
Enjoy the out of state video glad to see mountain creek video again 👍🏼
Man what a day , nice fish and beautiful scenery.

Yes I have. They seem to be more in the mountain streams and creek chubs in the lower streams
Small lures in smaller waters still pack a punch, so true!!
Those fish are the KINGS of the creek and they eat whatever they can gobble down

Cutting them in half works better for me on trout
@@CreekFishingAdventures, thank you for that advice.
@@CreekFishingAdventures, I went to the private pond. I caught one trout on a Rebel Teeny R. The weather was changing and the fish weren't having it.
Another great video John thanks !
Another great relaxing video , With slaying the fish ! Now that’s what I would call awesome. Thank you and stay safe. God bless
Nice day of spot hopping

Nice Small Mouth it was very stocky and the colors were nice.I like when they are golden green.
dude i love your videos! amazing!
I love your videos, I really dig you because you throw yours back. But I keep the ones I catch to eat, and I wish I had your skills
AMEN! Wow those spots were long! Usually they are like a football! It’s amazing how those fish will follow a caught fish!
Yeah usually they are fatter
I love your videos! You inspired me to make my own fishing channel! Keep it up!

More gorgeous, productive fishing spots! I’m jealous.
What kinda hook you using cause it look like it don't wanna let them fish go
One with an aggressive barb.

Great day!! Great vid!
Thanks 👍👍
Nice decent bass. Those creeks are fun to fish. No telling what you will catch.
You pick some really good spots bro. I've done some fishing this spring but not near as much as I planned.
At 19:12 another spot came up and stole your swimbait in the little hole right where you pulled the fish out. Awesome video!
