100k then keep going I would love to see him and Richard Gene the fishing machine do a video together these guys are all about fishing and are great to watch
The pleasure you bring to me, watching the joy you have just doing your job. It's not just seeing you but also the sounds. and sights. There's nothing more soothing than hearing running water
What a gorgeous little creek glad I could tag along virtually anyway. One of my favorite top water lures has always been the pop-R and popping bugs on the fly rod makes every catch special.
Went fishing at a local lake yesterday. Threw every lure I had. Caught a 8 inch bass. An old fellow fishing in the same cove caught a 21 inch largemouth fishing with worms on the bottom.
John, I grew up in southern Ky, fishing Barren River, Drakes Creek, Middle Fork, Trammel Fork, and Lick Fork with my dad. I live in Mesa AZ now and really miss those creek fishing days. Thanks for sharing your trips with all of us.
That 4 pounder was a tank! Just ordered two size 60 Whopper Ploppers to try in my creek! Thanks for the content John, another great day of creek fishing!
At 118k now! One of my favorite channels, keep up the great work and keep inspiring people to get off their couches and get out there and fish, explore and discover new places. Tight lines to you all 😁🎣
You can almost feel the bite through the screen by the way you react, I totally relate to that, UL creek fishing is the best, thanks for sharing this with us my fellow angler friend.
That catch where the one spit it out and the other one got it was crazy! I wonder how many times we don’t see other fish in dirty water when fish throw a lure. I will definitely change the way I approach that situation in the future. Cool stuff!
Super nice topwater action ! I was just talking to my son,( who lives in North Idaho and also is a subscriber), last night and he was telling me about ordering some Nikko lures (hellgramites and caddis fly) with the link from your info. He also was telling me about buying some Plopper-style lures ( maybe from Wally World, I can't remember...sorry I'm getting old...LOL!) By coincidence, Here you go posting a great topwater vid. using WP's!! We truly enjoy your approach to fishing, videoing, and life ! Keep up the Good work, Brother !!
Another great video. What really blew my mind was the variety of species and sizes of fish caught on the whopper plopper (both sizes). Gotta get me a couple of those 60s.
Great creek fishing videos…well done. I liked the storm drain fishing video with the aquarium in tailgate of truck. Very interesting. Snowed in up in Ohio.
Love that 60 size...gotta get out and throw it more but the areas we do best on topwater we need a little bit of moving water and with how dry it has been we just haven't had it.
I'll never forget being a newbie kid to the Tn outdoors and me and some new found friends were playing at the creek and we came up to a small bridge that was shallow underneath. So i kept running down the creek not noticing the other two went over and was laughing. That's when all the water spiders started jumping off the walls :P Never again under a small bridge for me lol.
New subscriber In my neck of the woods, that would be chocker block full of trout. Love these bass videos. Creek and river fishing are my favorite. The fish are so beautiful, and full of fight
That was a great video , fun to watch . I got to get me one of those whopper ploppers ., I was gonna get me and my son one and they were sold out. I know they don’t always work ,but when they do ,.. heart stopping.
You just fished my old swimming hole in Dayton and that bridge was hwy 60 going up Dayton mtn. They are smallmouth in that creek. I fished it 30 years ago. Now I live in Cleveland trying to come pass with you one day. I was born in Dayton that creek used to be alot deeper before the new bridge thru town. Ronnie Hood
You get me jonesin to fish my creeks. Central Oklahoma isn't so great on creeks. Most good spots get fenced off. Before I watched I was thinking of running to Bass Pro and looking at the whopper ploppers. What a winky dinky timing. Great stuff sir!
Man this was an awesome video! My local creeks are heating up! Got my 4 year old on a 2.5lb smallie yesterday. I thought it was going to pull the rod out of his hands when it got in the current haha
Beautiful creek there! I’m in Michigan and catch small mouths, largemouths, and rock bass in rivers and creeks in southeast part of state. Occasionally a green sunfish, more likely a bluegill or pumpkinseed. Just subbed love those s kind of fishing!
I live on the Shenandoah, no collection of Smallmouth or Largemouth Bass between 11 and 14 inches. It never dawned on me you would find adult bass in such shallow water.
Very big fan, keep the videos coming Desmond in Waynesboro, Va Question? Fishing creeks i notice alot of anglers using rod and reel for bigger fish but why not use just straight micro for the fun of it instead of yanking small fish as if their giants? Wheres the fun of fighting them? Not knocking just a learning question.
Nice sportsmanship and a day in the creek.
Let's get this fellow to 100k!
100k then keep going I would love to see him and Richard Gene the fishing machine do a video together these guys are all about fishing and are great to watch

I bought it last week, still waiting to try it. ☝️
That Bluegill 60 plopper is sweet !!! That blue on the plate and the chartreuse tail are spot on
Love that 60 size...gotta get out and throw it more but the areas we do best on topwater we need a little bit of moving water and with how dry it has been we just haven't had it.

Wonderful spot and video! The top water baits are cool, for the viewers because you can see them hit it.
Great video! Used to avoid topwater but with practice it turns out to be a really productive way to pull up bass!
Now that's my kind of creek! Great video John.
I’m anxious to try a plopped in my local creek. I think it might actually work! Thanks for bringing us along..

Sick! Congrats John! We film a lot of similar videos you do so this is right in our wheelhouse!🔥🎣
Amazing fatty @ 18.00 timecode! Keep rock'in!
Great video. That whopper plopper is a great lure. Lots of other companies are copying it or creating their own versions.
You get me jonesin to fish my creeks. Central Oklahoma isn't so great on creeks. Most good spots get fenced off. Before I watched I was thinking of running to Bass Pro and looking at the whopper ploppers. What a winky dinky timing. Great stuff sir!

Great video. Thanks for taking us with us. Hope my new video today does good.

Love watching your videos. They're very relatable. Not like the others I've seen. And the areas you fish look similar to arkansas
Funny when the little one spit it out and the bigger one nabbed it haha
Man this was an awesome video! My local creeks are heating up! Got my 4 year old on a 2.5lb smallie yesterday. I thought it was going to pull the rod out of his hands when it got in the current haha

Beautiful creek there! I’m in Michigan and catch small mouths, largemouths, and rock bass in rivers and creeks in southeast part of state. Occasionally a green sunfish, more likely a bluegill or pumpkinseed. Just subbed love those s kind of fishing!
18:55, looks like that largemouth was foul hooked right in the eyeball.
I got a couple whopper popper 60s And used them in some private ponds and caught a ton of fish
Big bass in small creeks has to be what heaven is like or I don't want in
Right on brother 🤘
John, have you considered eliminating some of the barbs on treble hooks...
Just for fun John you might go old school. Possibly Hula Popper,River Runt, Tiny Torpedo or small Jitterbug. Great video
I live on the Shenandoah, no collection of Smallmouth or Largemouth Bass between 11 and 14 inches. It never dawned on me you would find adult bass in such shallow water.
My thoughts exactly, these fish would have been great for your tournament. Nice video.
Very big fan, keep the videos coming
