Well, to answer my own question - with the PW set to square (all the way to the left), FUZZ at 2 o'clock, and RELAX/PUSH somewhere in the middle (with P-90's) it cleans up rather nicely. You have to roll the volume on the guitar quite far back though (8-ish is not enough, make it 2-3 rather). The splatter of the narrow PW doesn't clean up at all - rolling back the volume of the guitar simply makes the signal to weak to get through. Anyway, lovely fuzz - subs at 3 all the way :-)
Mastotron is a bit smoother and higher gain with silicon transistors, fuzz factory uses germanium and can do all kinds of cool synth like oscillations and get extremely harsh and 8 bit like along with your typical 60’s fuzz face sound
I like his voice. Very calming.

Can confirm the dramatic volume reduction needed for cleansies. Also can confirm: dope stomp
having played it through both, i must say i very much prefer this on bass. it was ok on guitar but totally kills on my bass
This is the best thing on guitars.
What’s the difference between the mastotron and fuzz factory? Thanks

How much does it clean up with the guitar's volume knob?
@Zach, Whats your fav non Z vex pedal?
That's hilarious 😂 your bum first 😋😇🫒
