Thanks for your video. It is very informative. If I go with Zoho, I will be attempting to migrate thousands of notes from Evernote. One thing I will miss from Evernote is the very simple but convenient ability to use a shortcut to put in the current date and occasionally the current time. I put in the date in every note I make, and I think it is virtually unforgivable for a note taking app to not have the ability to insert the current date with a shortcut key combination. Do you happen to know of any way to insert the current date without typing it out? I haven't found it in the free version and I see no reference to it in the documentation for the app.
Thank you for this relatively detailed tutorial on Zoho Notebook. I am using this as a backup to my OneNote which has been lagging so bad lately. While it migiht not have all the bells and whistles, it is successfully allow me to share without any lag on an overhead monitor when I present to groups.
I'm the guy that's doing the micromanaging due to ADHD. The app is superb for me. I tried Evernote which is the premium and every other alternative on the market suggested down to Joplin. It's friendly, affordable and like you said pretty lol. I agree though, if your an advance user like a writer that needs a bunch of notebooks for character templates or mini-stories? This is definitely not the one for you. I would actually go Evernote and just pay the price.
Jon - a very well done video. Im on a flight familiarizing myself with the notebooks component and you made the process so much easier. Keep an eye out - if Zoho were smart they will bring you on board. Let me know how the negotiations go.
This is an awesome video, Jon! Thank you. Your video allowed me to really appreciate the features of Zoho notebook since I just activated my account today to start transferring and taking more notes about my freelancing journey. BTW, aside from exporting the notes, is there a way to print them to have a hard copy and compile them as my journal? I still wanted something I can flip with my hands. Thank you, and all the best to you!
Thanks. Glad you're enjoying it. You should be able to print by going to the 3 dots on the bottom bar of a note and clicking Print. Tried on the web version. For Android go to the top right of a note and tap the 3 dots, should be a print options there.
Thanks for the review. For a couple hours now I've been trying to import my notes from Evernote but have not been successful when following the instructions in Zoho Notes. Have you been able to accomplish this?
I did but it was a couple of years ago and everything went OK. From what I've read it does take a while... Evernote limit the amount of notes that can be pulled over so it may be an idea to email Zoho and see if they can nudge it along a bit.
I am often surprised at the weakness (or total lack) of tutorials provided by software developers for their products. No problem for the Zoho brand Notebook Application because Not Another Marketing Channel has solved this Zoho oversight with 25 minutes of jam-packed practical advice and keystroke demonstrations to facilitate my desparate escape from the unsupported Google Keep app. I'll be back to this RUclips site.

Zoho notebooks was a big mistake, as I have docs and apps stuck in the app now. I have to copy each note manually to transfer to Upnote.
Very useful video at right time for me, looking for some thing like this since long time. I like your structure Inbox as default Notebook!!
Thanks... I just dump everything into the Inbox and sort it later.
Love this video! Just started using Notebook and this video was perfect
Glad it was helpful!

@@notanothermarketingchannel I don't think the Evernote importer works anymore.
Is the phone app different that the pc/ laptop? Because I'm not seeing all the apps you're talking about on my phone
Yeah. The phone app is different but hunt around in the menus and most of the desktop functionality is there.
Please tell me how to ungroup notes
Late reply... missed the comment. Open the group and right click on the notes to ungroup them. Once there's one left the group will disappear.
What app do you use for long notes?
I tend to use Evernote or a markdown app (Zettlr) for longer notes. If I need something long and properly formatted I use Zoho Writer.
I love Zoho :3
Can you resize images and photos?
Not so much. You can create a gallery of images or display images as big as the card.
How do you 'un-group'?
You have to select the notes in the group - all of them or just the ones you want to ungroup. On the web an "Ungroup" link should appear top right.
The link to Zoho One is broken.
Just checked and it seems to get there OK. Can you try again?

Recently, Zoho reduced the free storage to 2 GB. For more, you'll have to purchase a subscription. A bit of bait and switch going on here.
Oh, and your affiliate link to Zoho One is broken.
