Probably one of the best senseis, as he explains the basic principles.
Thank you for the kind words 🙏🙏🙏
Excellent explanation, covered all the technical aspects of the throw plus the finer points,
Much appreciated Samson.😊.inspirational!
Thank *you* for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video 🙏🏻
love your explanation on 6,06 helped sooo much!
That brings me back so many great memories!!!
I was 17-19, before RUclips was a thing...
I was doing a lot of JuJitsu and this was one of my worse technique. There is a lot in this technique and you explained it better than my sensei (or I wasn't ready to understand it yet?).
Great explanation with baby step on every detail and all the 'why'...
Arigato gozaimashita sensei Sampson, from Montréal!!!
Scientific approach for sure
This is a master technician, a pure pleasure to watch and learn from.
Thank you Tim!
Your style of teaching and technical precision remind me of two judoka that influenced me nearly 30 years ago: Edmund "Bunkie" Fellmeth Sensei and O'Sensei Phillip Porter.
Thank you for the hard work and content sensei. Respect and greetings from South Africa!
Absolutely stellar instruction.
Great video, as always! Do you have any advice on how to hit this throw in LvR?
Thank you Shihan for explaining the technique so precisely that I will practice it with my students your way🥋
Easily the best technique breakdowns on RUclips. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with us, Sensei.
Such a gem of a channel. Arigatō!

Love this muthafuckin sensei
so many small yet significant tips
Good morning, Sampson. My question does not relate to the current video, it’s just the last one posted and that’s why I’m writing here. My problem is that after 2 minutes of randori I am completely exhausted and cannot continue. My opponents say that my muscles are too tense and that’s why I’m tired. Therefore, can you please record a video about how to expend your strength during a fight and how to become more resilient so that you can fight for half an hour without a break :) ?
Thanks for your question. The short answer is that to get more fit for judo, you need to do judo! The more you do something the more conditioned you will become to it. Also make sure to live a healthy lifestyle outside of training - don’t smoke, limit alcohol, eat well, sleep well. Also, exercise outside of the dojo. Go to the gym, run etc. some of my students have also had great success in training CrossFit for judo.
