Jungle Strike (Speed Run) -

Speed run for the Genesis version of Jungle Strike which completes the game in 45 minutes, 17 seconds. This attempt isn't good enough to submit to SDA, but I'm getting close! Hopefully.

I still have this game in my genesis hooked up to my 50 inch tv. Now the rumors of EA reviving it has me cautiously optimistic

I love so much this game, I've spent a lot of time flying through the map destroying everything - friends or foes ;(

I could never make it past the mission where you fly the stealth fighter. I remember it being so fast I crashed and wasted all 3 lives before getting any missions done.

There are 4 extra lives hidden in that level to aid with accidental stealth deaths, fly north east from your starting point and spot the 4 little pyraminds that contain items all together.

I never made through the 3rd level. Is this played by a human or is it some tool? The precision is insane, you have the map inside your head :O
If you like this type of gameplay but in a 3D environment I recommend Swiv 3D (1996)

I've certainly thought about it, but nothing yet. I'm fairly sure there are Desert Strike runs around somewhere though, and I would assume someone has tackled Urban Strike by now too.
