To be fair, DT won her last two championships with a team comprised of no teammates who made "The Wall." Stewie had I believe nine "Wall" players as teammates during her four-year-run. Not demeaning Stewie, just highlighting that DT got it done with what appears to be a whole lot less help.

I'm glad UCONN lost. They won enough when these women were playing.
Seriously. 3 of them won between DT (she had 2; she was 2 years older than Bird) and Bird (she won her first her sophomore year and then stayed another two years and won a second). Then of course Stewart came in and they had those 4 years of domination.
I honestly feel bad for the current players when people say they win too much, because they haven't won anything. The past few graduating classes have left with no rings. This was the first time UConn even made the final since 2016. So I get disliking the program, but the current players aren't really part of that championship legacy. Hard to hold the past against them.

Olivia might make more money as a model/ brand spokesperson , then go into broadcasting or something. Same with Evina as a Journalist (she was on that track as a communications major etc - she seems to have planned already for a career outside of playing hoops).
Evina gave what looked like her best Sunday - but Olivia and Williams not really... especially Williams. Who knows maybe they didn't care THAT much. They're making money and they will make more money in the WNBA and with NIL.
So the underclassman - maybe they will have a chance to get uconn back into championship form -

Then these freshman coming in (look like potential studs - over 6 ft 2.... athletic. One is hefty and can bang with Aliyah Boston & that South Carolina frontline (who will be losing some players like Saxton, also destiny Henderson).
@@MrLarryLessor I don't disagree at all. All I'm saying is, people -- usually newer or casual fans of CWBB -- are wrong in thinking that UConn wins too much. The period of dominance really was 2000-2016 and hasn't continued since. The UConn fanbase remembers what it was like to win championships all the time, but the current players have no clue. It's honestly amazing they even made it to the FF this year.
