Love the fireside chat, thanks for sharing the hexi ideas, I started learning and making a year ago and have a few already assembled but not attached to a block, love the big ring idea but also the single....will wait to see what others vote...
Love your hexie quilt idea. I think the two rings look luscious! I think keeping each ring scrappy within the same color range will look beautiful! Also love your flower kit colors!
I like the bigger hexie design, with rings of one color. Long term project. I have an EPP tumbling blocks I have been working on for years. My tops sit around waiting to be sandwiched and quilted. Once that is done, binding gets done pretty quickly.
I'm so excited about the upcoming SALs! The good thing is I already have fabric for both projects!!!! I did have to order a little more fabric, but otherwise I'm ready to go!!!! I've been with you since Grandma's Kitchen, but I also made the Solstice quilt, which I absolutely love. It's on my bed and it makes me smile every time I walk in the room! When I bind mine I do the flange method (gives me more color!) plus I can sew it all on the machine. If I had to hand sew the binding on I would never get it done! What motivates me to get it done is show and share at my guild meeting. It works as my deadline...I love working under pressure! When I can't figure out how I want to lay something out I take photos of the different ideas I have. That way I can think about it when ever and not have to leave everything laying around until I figure out what I want. It also helps me remember how I want to sew it together...except for Let's Go Camping. For some reason I had it figured out went to sew it together and did the borders around the blocks the wrong way!!! UGH!
Don’t worry I finally did binding on 3 quilts this past week. Now have to wait a week for fingers to get their feelings back....lol. As for hexi’s row of red, row of white and so on....looking good.
I like the hexi's but wonder if the dark gray could work with the white and then the red with the white. Putting them on a background fabric is an amazing idea. When it comes to quilts mine get stuck at sandwiched. Just need to put a little time away each day and do some quilting. Have a great Holiday
How about putting 2 one petal hexi on a big block, one could be gray and the other white with the red center on both. I started making my hexis on a road trip this summer to Carolina Beach and will keep adding on each trip, Ocean City for Thanksgiving.
I’m loving the thought of 4 large squares in the middle and the smaller squares around it.

You’re so awesome. I love spending time watching these fireside chats. Thank you.

I like the tow ring, red and white. Lovely,!!
I love the two rings in the colours you have
I do LOVE the weekly blocks vs the monthly. I find that weekly keeps my focus more than monthly. I was able to stay pretty much on top of SS-1.

That beautiful gray crossweave fabric would make awesome fence posts with hexie flowers growing up beside it!

I'm currently doing a "I SPY" HEXIE toddler quilt, which I'm sewing all by hand.
I agree with you I wouldn't want it to scrappy and i like the larger one. where you have the red in the center than two more rows
Anew years resolution for your binding

Hexies Id do all one colour. Not scrappy. 😁 and I like the one ring.
Love the flower fabric choices. Pat love the little bike quilt on your wall. Do you know the pattern?
I love one ring! But if you want some variety in your layout, you could do a few two-rings.
The person who quilts mine, binds them as well :)
I have quilt tops to finish

I like 2 ring on the Hexi quilt.
Mine wait for binding for a while too
I like the sm sq
If you miss a month can you still get the pattern?
i have a project page for each one Debbie. See www.ilovetomakequilts.com/
I'm willing to bind all your quilts if you quilt mine! LOL!
i often quilt with a credit card ... wink!
Less is definitely better. Hang the "more' on your design wall. I don't like the shape that the "more" makes. Scrappy ! Messy! Ugh!
