    Great video. It would be great if you clarify that this is for the driver side blend door and clarify if your accord has dual climate control or not. The dual climate control Accord (EX) has a passenger side blend door which is a different part number.
    The passenger side temperature motor is the common part that makes the soft clicking noise. The part number is 79170-SDC-A41. This part is also called Air mix motor or blend door for the passenger side.

    Hello, i had an Accord 2006 v6 and the heater system don´t works properly, only is on the passenger side is hot, and cold on the driver side. The internal actuator is working and moving the black and White paddles. Also if i change the direction of the air to the foots or windshield the air everytime is on the front vents. Did you know what is the possible cause on my car? The cold AC on both sides is ok only on heater is not working correctly. Also did you know if on the V6 Accords had installed a valve control for the inlet of the coolant to the evaporator?

    • @AJIMPORTS
      @AJIMPORTS  10 месяцев назад

      The control valve is outside on the firewall. If the air is only coming out the front vent then you might have to look into the actuator for the vents mode select. Have to move the glove box to see it. I would check your coolant level first. Then remove the passenger side actuator for the heat. Manually move the arms to see if that change the heat and the position on the control valve on the firewall. These are free steps to help narrow down your issue.

      @@AJIMPORTSthanks for your quickly answer, so i take a look on the fire wall and doesn´t look any control valve, just i see the two hoses and in one of those it has a steel pipe, maybe somebody remove and don´t put a new one and only make a bridge. So now i need to find the blue collar that regulates the valve because also i didn´t see.

    • @AJIMPORTS
      @AJIMPORTS  10 месяцев назад

      Google heater core valve. It should be inline on one of those hose going In to the firewall. There is a lever that is attached to a cable that move when you adjust the temp. I have replaced those because they are broken. But try the free method first. Also check the channel I have another video on this same issue and accord. With a more serious heating issue.

    On my 07 accord 3.0 , the passenger side air is hot and driver side is cold/lukewarm. i checked the actuator on the driver side and it's functioning properly. i also put in a new heater control valve. i'm not sure what the issue is but one of the 2
    hoses isn't as hot as the other one. Any thoughts ?

    • @AJIMPORTS
      @AJIMPORTS  10 месяцев назад

      Take off the cable on the control valve. Manually flip it open to see if both hose get hot. If not then you might have a clogged heater core. Might have to flush it. By opening the valve and turning the temp up. You should see if the actuator are working correctly

    • @AJIMPORTS

      Well thats a weird issue. There are 2 actuator that control each side of the car. the system is design that one of the center vent works for the driver and one for the passenger. So for both to not work but the side vents do is weird. How is your mode selection. That changes the vent position. Is that working.

      @nsxt290 Год назад

      @nesfinesse6791 start off with these steps. Using honda oem parts is worth the trouble. Check everything. I feel the blend door inside is the issue. The actuator is pricey& i can see "things" move back & forth. Passenger side is cebu city heat. Using a advanced scan tool wasn't applicable to check blend doors. You can take a gamble on the actuator.

    • @AJIMPORTS
      @AJIMPORTS  Год назад

      @@nesfinesse6791 the hvac box was the problem. When you remove the actuator you are able to move the blend door manually. If the heat works then most likely the actuator is bad. If nothing changes then it might be the hvac box.

      The best free advise I can give is on the side thats not working correctly. Turn off the car. Unplug and remove the actuator. Then turn on the car and change the temp to max hot and then max cold. Manually change the lever/handle on the hvac box. If that changes the temperature to the correct setting. Then the actuator is bad and has to be changed. If it does not change the temp then you have to take it to a shop. Most likely the hvac box is bad and has to be replaced. Checked out the channel I have another video that goes into additional steps about that issue.
