I use shepherds hooks w/ black zipties. The hooks have double hooks. I double them up. Great privacy wall between porches. The hooks go up to 96”, but I keep them at 6’. I also used a super strong fishing line to hook to porch posts so the wind wouldn’t make them lean. We gotta do what we gotta do! 😂

I have this ivy on my chain link fence - what I first did was on the inside part of my fence I stretched a dark "privacy" panel (shade cloth would do as well) and on the outside of the fence, I stretched this ivy panel. That way the privacy panel on the inside darkened the ivy panel enough that it really looked more like a hedge. I eventually replaced the roll of ivy panel with the "boxwood" panels. They are more expensive, but they are MUCH thicker ("bushier") and easier to attach to the fence as each boxwood panel is either 2x2 or 3x3 foot flat pieces. They can be attached to each other, but I found zip tying them to the fence was easier - the lower panels were zip tied to the fence and then I came back to the top secton and overlapped the top and bottom just a bit. From the street, I like the look of the boxwood panels so much more than the ivy. But again, the flat boxwood panels are more expensive...

Hi, not sure what state you live in but a privacy hedge would take 2-3 years to grow- like Eugenia or others.up to 15-20 feet.- way more expensive but would last for 30 years. .. . Wow you have so much land!! I live in LA -we are on top of each other- 50 X 100 lots. Doggie is so cute thank you.

Plastic will last an eternity . Far better than any wood.
The metal that's holding it together might be susceptible. I know some metals are not strong to the elements....but should still last a lot longer than the fence?

The color fades but the material has stood up to tons of snow and some pretty high 50 mile an hour winds and is still going strong. The color leeching out is annoying but I'm still super happy with it

This is kind of cool. I just had to clear a 50 foot stretch between my neighbor and I to upgrade my fencing because I just took in a little rescue that looks like you dog and she would get right through my cattle panel fencing. I wonder if they come in shorter height. I only need maybe 3 foot. I guess I could cut a 6 foot one in half?? Can that mesh be cut to size?

They have different sizes and it has been great to keep our chihuahua away from the neighbors pitbull.

@@michianagarden2814 I chatted with my neighbor and we decided to go with the shade cloth in black. since the only exposed area is under the row of pine trees I planted 14 years ago the 4 foot by 50 foot piece wil fit perfecty. I think the ivy would loo nicer on my side but not hers looking at the backing of mesh. I also hope it stops the dogs from either side going crazy over each other Crazy if I am not close all 5 dogs hers and mine are fine but the protective thing comes in. I do think I might add the ivy eaf one on parts of my kitty kennel to make some shade. So glad I saw your video. No idea this fencinf was even available.

I'm picky I'd have to add dollar store flowers n maybe spray soem.paint here nthere in a few colors hahaha you can really do alot with those. Shite eh. I just cut my good thick grey material n out the white out. I'm on a balcony n I out light grey inside for me. Tired of the noeghbourd teasing my pitty with all their little yappy mean dogs or starring in my windows or just standing there letting the dogs shite bekow my place. Everytime I go to sit onnporch or water flowers n plants all they do is all watch me. I'm not that interesting. One girl drunk says she knows ehat my place looks liek inside never had her here. Changed rhe keys cux if last tenant n out thsi up. Had enough dogs go on balcony across n bark all night n day n it gets mine going. I'm building something nice but it'll work for now. I'm sure they'll bitch cux I out it on the balcony with zip ties too. But it days in ny lease nothing permanent. Lol Well.its not permanent 😊
