Odyssey was the best out of the three. To each their own but for real for real. The first thing I did in this game was check out the water and noticed a downgrade, there’s no wide open areas except the frozen lakes in Norway. They made a whole new naval combat system for Odyssey and abandoned it in Valhalla. Imagine not carrying over good naval combat in a Viking game…. Or any naval combat at all…. And the fact that they changed the gear system to needing full sets to have a good armor build is stupid. I had 4 armor sets in Odyssey that I switched through, with different weapon load outs to do different things and needed no armor set to do it. There were still armor sets in Odyssey but they were able to be combined easily with others. Also the combat felt godly and that crunch was there for sure .
