As if it weren't amazing enough that he could hit those notes, he can even sing them with vibrato?!
That is absolutely incredible!
Nick R
Two words: Mariah Carey
3 words...Not Even Close. Yes she can hit those highs, but she can't match the lows. I believe she is in the 4-5 octave range....still very impressive.
She can't hit those lows, but the point is that she made a career out of the highs.
@Leandro Neves she didnt sing a g2 or is she a man?
@@shagstars She has sung F2 that was her lowest note Adam can sing from B1-B8
Eb8 is what my violin sounds like when I play the e string below the bridge 😂😂
I am trying to beat him in his highest note and i got higher than him. but his lowest note is impossible for me as i am countertenor (look it up) so basically i just cannot do it lmao
Nah, that’s a piccolo note right there 🤣
ikr! my bow slides sometimes and it makes my brain shiver
lol all this people saying they can go up to a certain range, id like to hear them sing
Ikr
Misael V. Yeah, dumb show offs just want attention
Not showing of but I just am surprised that I can sing from G2-G5 at age 12
Meme Master exactly your 12 you haven’t even hit puberty yet so your voice is high, once puberty hits you won’t be able to hit G5 very easily I’m a choir singer myself and my range is from a bass to a low alto. So from G2 to C5.
Emperor Leo I respect that you took the time to type all that out man. And I too am a choir singer but I mean everyone in there is just messing about and does close to nothing so it’s practically just a free period to them. And btw that’s an impressive vocal range.
bass all the way to soprano wow.
actually there is such thing as a sopranist AKA a man who can sing soprano.
+Ihdc1 he's tenor
Weeklytips Wzw women and children can be sopranos although only women who have that range are actually called sopranos (children are trebles).Males that sing in the contralto or mezzo soprano range are called countertenors.A sopranist is a specific type of countertenor that sings in the soprano range.
Countertenors are mostly tenors and baritones. He is not a sopranist,he just has a huge range that extends all the way up to notes that are way too high even for a typical sopranino...
***** no,a sopranist is a man that sings in the soprano range...but he is not one,he also sings the low low notes, and I don't think he sings soprano roles all the time like a sopranist😹😹😹
+Domina Noctis Adam seems to be a "simple" spinto tenor.
E2 to E4... I need to start taking vocal lessons again XD
+MegaSupernova888 g2 - g5 me too :D
F1-D8
vocal range exercices will help on youtube
C1-C8
E2-C5
I actually don't feel that proud to have a 2 and a half octave range anymore lol
Most pro singers have 3 octave ranges
+shadedoom I can hit close to those notes he hits untill the top one.
Jake Letts I feel proud having 3 octaves and 7 semitones :D
I am a bass, and recently recorded myself recording 5 octaves on E. It's not very good, as I skip around I go flat and sharp but managed to get easily from E1-E5. I can sing up to Bb 5 with reasonable tone quality on a good day, so I'm fairly proud of my 4 1/2 octaves.
Roger Stevens yeah you should be proud
Eb8.
RIP to every earbud users ears.
ME AHAHAHAHHA
@@vocalrange5042 same
God damn. And here I was proud of a 4 octave range. This guy is crazy!
Andrew Rivera Four octaves is still pretty impressive though.
I have a 2.58 octave is that good ?
@@hnnh1803 how wo you measure it
never mind just search it on yt and a bunch of videos can show you
I only have 3 octaves :v
The kettle is boiled.
insane xD
when u r a little kid, u can do most of these, but then u lose them. It's amazing that he can do this
Wow, that was a great low Eb. I know you're famous for the high notes, which are great, but I was impressed by the low note as well.
can't hit Eb8, I only get to C#8 :(
but I do get to Eb1, which is nice
EpilepticGamer YT You've gotten me beaten. I can barely hit D5...
EpilepticGamer YT range means very little in singing. Freddie mercury had a bit over 3 octaves of range and look how he sold it. So yeah...dont worry if you cant hit notes XD
Lucky. Highest is E7. So close.. Lowest is not that close. Absolute is B2 straining a lot. I am planing on trying to go higher since I am just a beginner.
It's also nice to call BS on someone, which I am. Nice
I've reached f7, but only for a second. My lowest is about a2 maybe a little lower.
OMG! 6 octaves!!!!! amazin!

Dat shade at Georgia Brown, lmao
Right, she ain’t slick😭💀
🤣🤣😅
He's dolphin man. :D
Hi Kashiva,
If you count the semitones including C3 and F5, it's 30 notes or 2 and a half octaves.
Talk soon buddy,
Ads :o)
That girl seems to know nothing about music.
So? She's a talk show host.
The questions are prompts so he explains simple musical concepts for the viewers.
It's a talk show ffs have you never seen television before?
That was beyond amazing. He's so good.
Also, his Eb5 reminded me of Vitas xD
My range is F#1 to F6 (screaming-Bb6)
can only do the F# ... damn so great adam!~

AAAAHHH!! >__< *coughs blood* x_x
Hey Okzs,
Great point - my range changes from day to day. The most it's ever been is 8 octaves. On a daily basis it ranges from 5-6 octaves and sometimes 7 and 8 octaves.
Hope it helps answer your question

What is the octavive range of Dimash.
They have him based on performances going as low as F#1 up to D8.
Is that 7 octaves and 5 tones?
How would you say that?
What is your lowest and highest?
hey everyone, he hit a Eb which is a whole step high than his official guiness world record!!! this guy is incredible!!!!
Why in the world is nobody here talking about Tim storms
Vocal fry doesn’t count for vocal range
Niiice! I'm like totally happy with my E1 to C6 range :)
Though anything below C2 sounds like (very) wimpy death metal "singing"
Vocal range is when You can singing comfortably in that octave. Not like this.
Who said I can't sing comfortably in every octave?
when you fire all the animators...
Hey Diddinsyde :)
at 1:55 the girls sing with me so it's their voice you're hearing overlayed.
Talk soon buddy
adam :)
Anyone here thinking of Dimash?
Geezus! I can do four, tops if I'm warmed up.
freddie mecury could possibly do 8
Just watched a dude with 10 octaves wtf ???
I'm watched a dude with 8 octaves or 9 octaves
Big range but mediocre voice
mine Eb2 to E6 whistle is Bb6
parece que patearon un perro
Hey Adam your skill level is amazing. I love singing and wish to advance my skills. I want to start training in classical vocals. I will practice everyday like you did. You mentioned you did gigs, what is the name of your band I would love to check it out. Thanks much love brotha.
I wonder if Adam Lopez worries that Dimash could possibly go higher than him? After Dimash hit a D8 and held it for 5 seconds with vibrato it's a safe bet he can hit a higher note than that. Not sure Dimash would even care about it though
That's 7 octaves.
+Zachery Rondo No, it's 6 octaves, he hits 7 Eb's which span 6 octaves (Eb2, Eb3, Eb4, Eb5, Eb6, Eb7 and Eb8 at the very very top) - technically that's 6 octaves + another semitone which is in the 7th octave, but it's not a full 7 octave range - still insanely impressive though
Lydia Jane Pugh I meant counting!
Well, yes, most professional singers - I myself have a range of over 3 and a half octaves (C3-A6 if you wanted to know), my partner has 4 octaves, many of my friends/collegues have ranges between 3-4 octaves
+Mike Blu Even I got 4 octave
Falsetto a vocal register - this video is showcasing vocal range in its entirety, which would be from the very lowest (vocal fry) through chest, mix, falsetto AND head voice (they aren't the same thing), and up through the highest extremes of whistle register
I can BARELY hit the Eb2, and I can hit the Eb6. That's four octaves. The Eb2 is very hard to hit. The Eb6 is not so much hard. =)
hey man, just have to say that I am a huge fan of your ability, i myself sing in falsetto/head voice, can't really tell, but I train to make it sound as metal as it can, rob halford style, or mike from steelheart if you know him. hope to see you break the record again!
oh dios mio!!!!!!
eres increible
a execcion de Adam Lopez no conozco un hombre que tenga ese registro tan amplio.
in 7-8 octave - it's not a singing, it's whistling ;))
Yes singing and whistling is diferent things
You're amazing, Adam! I'm a big fan of Mariah Carey and a trully lover of high notes. Congrats!
I'm impressed! Makes me feel not that special about having a 5 octave vocal range lol.
Wow, that is amazing!!
Bruh why is it 1 frame per 4 seconds
0.25 fps
when you light the 1000x1000 cube of tnt in minecraft and you're computer can't handle it
have you ever hit any note higher than the 8 octave
i can't even whistle that high! :O
I believe Jim Morrison was able to reach this "whistle octave" while not having much range
@cgtrademark
yes and wiki said that E2 was the last note of the natural range in males.
I dont know whether im tenor or baritone or bass or not but ..maybe you can tell me
i reach E2 with ease, C2 if i try, and A0 on fry. The highest note i've ever hit in falsetto is C6, with superhead voice A6, and whistle is Bb7.
his whistle note in Eb8 really souns like a whistle! Oo haha
amazing! I envy him! hahah
how does he go to Eb6?! Oo
I'm still amazed! hahah
hey adam,
ever thinking of getting the world record for largest vocal range for a male as well?
i mean, u;ve got seven octaves day by day, or six at least, right?
I heard the world record is set by tim storms at 6 octaves. man, u can easily break that.
I dont know for what he needs the Eb6 and he's got 2 more octaves damn ;D:D.
But for real i admire this guy for having such a strong will to keep on widing his range.
+ i wonder how many octaves he was born with
fricken ridiculous
i just tested myself i got three and a half octaves right now, i know i can go lower than Eb but i just woke up ^_^
i really just want to hit a good Low C like Shear Khan and then I'll be satisfied
@Lether52 how can I accomplish this?
that's impressive!
Whoa that last note sounded like the static whistle of my old PC monitor warming up lol not a human beeing!!
500HZ + Thats just insane.
So can we expect a Minnie Ripperton cover anytime soon hehe?
Wow I didn't think anything over 5 octaves existed.
Mariah Carey has 5
@MorbosDevilGrinder
LOL u must have a michael jackson type of voice type beacuse any respectable man with a normal voice can reach E2 with ease.
I can sing much lower than his lowest note, but obviously I cannot even touch the highest notes in his range. My range is about 3 and a half octaves.
@MasterJ12thMan I used to believe the same thing about tone deaf people. The I tried a LOT with a tone deaf friend of mine to help her sing, but there was no way. She couldn't even begin to realize the difference between the note I was singing or playing on my guitar than the one she was singing. Seriously, not even close, nothing, zero..! Since then I've stopped believing that all people can sing! :P
@Rickles You make a worthwhile point. The definition of vocal range is distinguished between two areas: First, actual ability to generate a pitch through using the vocal chords. The musical academics prefer to rely on measuring the artists ability to generate what is known as "Useful Pitch" for musical purposes. So Adam Lopez actual *Tessitura* is likely to be between D3 (ish) to a cozy B5, with is remarkable, that is, without leaving the modal voice.
I don't see how you can just say "whistle starts at" a certain note - surely it depends on how high or low-pitched the person's voice is or if they are male or female. Even if a person fuly develops their whistle, surely women will typically always be able to go slightly higher and men will typically be able to go slightly lower at the other end and the different vocal qualities will start and end at different pitches accordingly
Hey adam what's the lowest note you can hit? Just curious.
Could you possibly show a quick demo of some sort, I'm really impressed by the high whistle range, but also know you can hit some bass notes so am curios to what your lowest note is. So what's the lowest note you've ever hit?
hello adam lopez, congratulations on your world record. Now, i actually believe this record, it had the legitimate witness on television. People like Nicola Sedda with E9 video was the biggest fake ive seen. Thank you for the video's they are very entertaining.
Just a quick guess, I think there's about an octave and a half below that, and about half an octave above it. I question the amount of control he'd have in that upper range stuff. Singing the octave off the last note is cake. Melody though... Idk
@Pancreotit Absolutely not, my lowest note is that Eb2 and I am a 17-year-old soprano girl! That's not a very low note, in fact Mr Lopez is not a Basso, but he's a Tenour with incredible high notes! (sorry if my english is not perfect, but I'm italian! =D)
@AdamLopezMusic So would you normally go 2 more octaves higher or lower? Does it even GET any higher?? :P
@chinajazzytown haha i have no idea how many octaves i can do, but its probably 2 or maybe less cuz i have a VERY small range :(
no effin way. Rob Halford (Judas Priest vocalist) had, back in his prime, a 6 octave range. nothing like this at all. Tim "Ripper" Owens, (WAS a vocalist in Judas Priest) still has a 6 octave range. nothing like this at all.
@AdamLopezMusic So it's kind of like: Most singers lose or gain a couple notes depending on how they're feeling that day, how they're throats doing... But in your case you gain a couple octaves. Hehe. That's amazing.
Its not whistling. The sound comes from the vocal cords and it sounds for sure like whistling. Very often it is the male voices who is able to sing lower notes the good ones with this kind of vocal sounds.
@LG141602 no everyone naturally sings better in a higher or lower register but with training I believe anyone can sing. As long as your not tone deaf but then again you can train yourself in that too
@StormBringer44 I suppose you are referring that he started on the Eb2 and went up to Eb8, and the "missing" octaves would be Eb1 and Eb2. That is extremely low notes, doubt a tenor could reach that low.
His Eb2 was just slightly on the sharp side (about 5 to 10 cents sharp) so indicating he was reaching down to get the note in tune, it was more likely in his chest voice than a glottal fry.
Actualy his range goes beyond 8 octaves, but unfortunately not any human ear can hear it as he produces ultrasounds
I can only hit the first 4, and only the first 2 as well as he can V_V Guess it's time to lop off the family jewels
chest range C2-F4, almost 2.5 octaves! lol, I don't count vocal fry or falsetto voice though, I guess if I did those it'd be A0-C/D5, about 4.5 octave, still nothing close to this lol
no. in EbM, Eb is 1 and therefore the base for that key. So starting at tonic means you are starting at the lowest of each octave. Which changes depending on the key.
yes you do, but are you sure you are counting right... 'do' to 'do' is an octave... in marry poppins terms lol. and the note is sustainable not just making it.
@MCLAMB4LIFE1
Yeah right!
I really still do not understand that people can say he has 8 octaves.... doesn't he have 6???
Andrea lifehouse podcast new episode that has a message for Adam Lopez coming soon, please listen.
Ive got about 3.7ish vocal range and dont even feel special anymore
Like 2/3rds of his range are pure whistle notes that he will never use for a real purpose.
@sheru7mera7naam007 You shouldn't start from a C, but from the lowest note you can reach.
@RiskyOvenChips the distance between 12 notes on a piano is an octave. They're both the same note, just higher or lower.
@IntrapersonalKent Yeah he goes from Tenor to Countertenor range in his singable notes.
@RiskyOvenChips
C, d, e, f, g, a, b, C
from C to C is an octave the same note but just higher (an octave higher)
@Lerpman1990
Actually, a common scale has 7 notes. Unless you get into the pentatonic scale. Which has five.
Rob Halford from Judas Priest used to have a 6 Octave Range, but because of his age it's now a 4 Octave Range.
can you give us some singing tips and some whistle tips please???
what do you do to take care of your voice??
Better than Brett Manning's demonstration any day. His one was a load of bull.
@8000cheese hahah so funny!
the 'thumb up' button is not appearing but I'd gave thumb up ur comment! XD
omg, old people won't beable hear to hear the highest note, it's damn crazy!
Andrea lifehouse podcast new episode about Adam Lopez is up.
