My mouth flew open with snipping the dimension tape! Wait! What?? Game changer ! TYFS! 💖💖💖🌹🤓
LOL! I am glad that I wowed you! You are welcome!
These are just the tips I needed as I have six simple layered cards ready to be assembled but I've never made cards before and I didn't want to screw them up this late in the game! I'm also a rusty stamper and I'm looking forward to going thru your channel content not only to refresh my memory but learn new techniques as well; thank you so much ☺️
I am so happy that you found my video and that it was helpful to you. I do try to share tips and tricks for all levels of stampers! If I can ever assist you please let me know. You can contact me thru this secure link: txstampin.com/contact-me/
You just made this very old stamper happy! Thank you for these much needed tips 😁👏👍💕💕💕💕💕
I'm so glad! Thrilled this was helpful to you!
Hello Sharon! I have been making cards for a couple of years, and wish I had found your video sooner since it is one of the most helpful tips ever! Thanks so much for putting on your thinking cap and making a hobby even more fun with less stress!!
I'm so glad you enjoy them! Thank you for watching
HI, Sharon! Well, this one has GREAT TIPS for BOTH new stampers and avid stampers, too! I hadn’t ever thought to “snip” my dimensionals nor use a heat tool to “loosen” snail! My only tip for “newbies” when placing layers is NOT TO ADHERE FULLY so that you have “wiggle room” as w/liquid adhesives even when using snail, etc~~you can usually remove successfully and place appropriately! TFS and HAPPY STAMPIN’, CREATIN’ n’ TIPPIN’! :-)
Judith I am thrilled I could share some tips that were helpful for you! Thank you for your additional comments for newbies!
Sharon, you didn't just help beginning stampers with this video. I've been stamping for many years and still struggle with layering. Thank you so much.
Awe Sunny! I'm so glad I could help you! Thank you for letting me know!
I'm new to card making and I've always put my card on crooked haha glad I came across your video now I have to buy myself a grid mat 😁

I am so glad you found me Sylvia! I always try to give tips and tricks on all of my videos to help you!
Very useful tip, no matter how carefully I go eyeballing it I always manage to get it crooked so following grid lines I think will be a huge help.
I sure hope you have success using my grid paper tip!!
Great tips, Sharon, and I’ve been making cards for almost 18 years ... 😉 🌸🌴🦋
Oh wow! I've been making cards just a few more years than you. I am so glad you enjoyed these tips! I hope I inspire you!

Lynn I am glad you found it and it was helpful to you! Thank you!
Learn something new every day. Thanks for these tips! I never thought of snipping the dimensions once they’re applied between the layers. I always have to think what sizes to cut the different layers of card stock & DSP. Looking forward to any other tips you may have in the future. Thanks so much!
Happy to help! I said years ago I was only gonna do this until I learned it all. Well, that will never happen because I am constantly learning new things so I can share with others! I have been moving from Arizona to Texas so there is a few weeks here with no videos but I am coming back soon!
Love the tip about snipping the dimensionals!
Yay! I am so glad Trish!
Thank you very much for this tutorial.😘
You're welcome!
Great tips...I often use Stamparatus to hold my base card against the corner. Now I’ll use graph paper to guide me more. Thank you.
Rosy thank you for your comment! I am happy you liked my tips! Thank You!
Hi Sharon (So happy to get share my stamping journey with your guidance and the other members of the Creativate team, I'm a Bloom right now. I own so many craft supplies so you would think that I'm an avid stamper but I'm not, I don't know what holds me back. I think it's that I have so many choices for everything possible. How can I choose something to get best use of my surplus and make something without overthinking it? Your Southern Friend from Corpus Christi, Texas (in the midst of a tropical storm right now) Love ya!
I am glad that you are being inspired by the Creativate Team! As far as choosing. I would start with a stamp set. Cardstock and Ink. Try not to overthink it. Just stamp! Oh take care with that storm. I believe it has passed today however you may still be receiving the outer bands of rain. We are getting those here in Kyle. Winds kicked up yesterday and threw patio furniture around! Stay safe!
TxStampin Sharon Armstrong Thank you for your response! I will do that! Sounds like you guys got stronger winds than us! We’re all fine, thanks be to God. Take care Sharon- hugs
Thanks much, Sharon. Great ideas! A suggestion for your "snipped" Dimensionals is to dab a bit of glue on them to renew them, rather than to remove/replace and waste them.
Deb Buckminster good tip! Thank you!!
Thanks for these awesome tips! I've been stamping for 25 years. It took me years to get used to using Tombow Glue but when I did...it is all I use. I love the Tombow glue for this exact reason, you have about 20 seconds to position your card stock straight before it dries. TFS!
Donna I am so happy you liked my tips! Tombow Glue is so forgiving! Thank you for your comment! What else do you struggle with? Maybe I can help!
Thank you so much. This is my main problem with layering my cards
You are very welcome Geraldine! I am happy to help!

I have been using double sided tape that is difficult to remove if you make a mistake, so from now on I will use liquid glue more often. Thanks for the tips.

TYSMFS!!!
You are so welcome!
I always realise that something is crooked the next day or when it's too late to take it up and re-position. Any suggestions?
If you have attached with a tape runner adhesive you can try pulling the corner up a bit and exhaling hot air to "heat" up the adhesive as you gently pull the layers apart. If you used a liquid glue that's not going to come apart like that. That's when you say Straight causes Stress...it is a handmade card! LOL
@@TxStampinSharon thank you. That is what I usually do. But I will remember to use tape runner in future in case I do need to reposition something.
I love the liquid glue. What dsp did you use on the first card? I love that paper.
Liquid glue is so forgiving! I used Garden Impressions 6 x 6 DSP!!! bit.ly/2TrYZjU
Good ideas
Thank you Rebecca!
I just started and struggle with cutting my card stock straight and laying it correctly.
