One of the TV stations here in Western Australia (TVW7) used to play this album over the test card, when they had a technical problem. I stumbled across it in a discount bin in my local K-Mart. Best $2 I ever spent :)

Soy chileno como ustedes y en el año 1980 se escuchó este tema. Yo vivía el final de un primer período de vida en Argentina, la última parte de mi niñez y me aprestaba a volver a Chile. Recuerdo ese tiempo con emoción. Ahora tras una nueva etapa vivida fuera de mi país me apresto a regresar definitivamente a Chile nuevamente. Y el recuerdo de ese dulce tiempo viene a mi memoria con esta estupenda canción.
Que época tremenda! Fue elegido mejor tema del año 1979 en esa radio y por votación de la gente? Que genial, un himno el de Telex! Saludos desde Uruguay

Yo los acabo de descubrir por "casualidad" (el algortimo de Amazon me los sugiró por comprar vinilos de Kraftwerk) y compré el vinilo de "this is telex" y son una maravilla. Suenan muy actuales y fantásticos. Me gustó el concepto.

Kraftwerk are BLOODY AMATEURS compared to Telex. And if I say that as a German, then it's true.
I love Telex, but they won't be remembered the way Kraftwerk will be remembered in decades or even centuries to come. There is extraordinary precision in the way Kraftwerk articulate their vision of technology, Europe and bicycles. Also, in musical terms, Kraftwerk's melodic writing is much more sophisticated. They make complex sequences of modulations seem childishly simple.

Dans le musée situé à côté de la gare où a eu lieu le tournage, car selon moi il y a de fortes chances que cela ait été tourné à la gare de Schaerbeek.

linda cancion aca en Ecuador por los años ochenta hubo un programa llamado soul train condusido por Osvaldo Valencia el uso esta cancion de fondo hasta el año 91 mas o menos q duro el programa ese programa fue una escuela para mi ya q alli aprendi muchas cosas q me han servido hasta hoy q nostalgia, q viva los 80s.

Took me half a day to find this song - was reminded by playing GTA IV (Get Innocuous! by LCD Soundsystem), then reverse searched (The Robots by Kraftwerk) and had no clue whatsoever until i found a Reddit-post where someone searched for "train whistle techno?"
