Wow this is my first time hearing this! I’m a big EBM (Electronic Body Music) fan. This pre-dates the EBM style of Front 242, but reminds me a lot of Kraftwerk’s Man/Machine album (1978 release). Almost kind of a Disco-Late ‘70s Kraftwerk sound. I heard that Kraftwerk also coined the term “Electronic Body Music” around 1978 to describe the sound of their Man-Machine /Mench-Maschiene album from that time.
No , Telex has more in common with yellow magic orchestra and moroder , that is why Sparks delivered the lyrics for the 1981 birds and bees album and why Sparks got produced by them on the 1983/84 albums recorded in Belgium
