AND NOW, FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT - ANIMATED ARMY - Bloomburrow Precon Upgrade

Red and Green as a pairing is usually about slamming down big and thrashy creatures to beat up opponents, but Animated Army tries to do this a bit differently by using Enchantments and Artifacts to be the beaters. Let's see if we can really push into the themes here a bit more and make the deck even more fun.

Great vid! Would you want to keep in any 4 mana artifacts like Thran Dynamo as it'll become an elemental?

Possibly. The tie breaker for me with all that ramp was the colorless mana not being as useful. This deck right out of the box has WAY too much ramp and too many rocks for a deck that doesn't have a bunch of X spells or mana sinks to that mana into.
There's lots of ways you can go here and lots of room to push this deck to being more streamlined, even beyond what I did with it.

It does, but you would have to be in a pod with another enchantment heavy build for it to be overly problematic. If that happens often, then yes, I'd look at other choices.

Yes. They keep all their original text, so you get the intended purpose of the artifact or enchantment, but also a 4/4 indestructible, haste beater. And if you put ability counters or +1/+1 counters on them, they keep those counters even if Bello gets removed on your turn or when they revert to non-creatures at the end of turn.

Man animating artifacts on U has no downsides at all. March of the Machines, Cyberdrive, Galvanic Genius and even Tezzeret just straight up get you creatures to name a few.

Yeah. I was referring to things like Alloy Animist, which is like the only thing I can find that isn't blue that animates artifacts. So really, the animation thing had always been blue, especially en masse, so Bello is really unique and I have to wonder why they bent the color pie so hard with him. I like the card, just feels very different.
