I just realized something that could just be some imagination, it happened about 3 days or so ago that I noticed but now I actually checked. It seems like this is a Version of "Mobs Explosion" Theme, just way different, way more positive, if there was any intent behind that then damn.
Now that you say it, I listened closely and it could be that the choir in this track plays in a major key, what 'Mob's Explosion's seamoons (the eerie whistling) play in a minor key. I'd need someone who actually knows his music-theory to confirm that, but DAMN that would be amazing! Might explain why this track gave everyone such feels when it started playing in the finale.
@@TheSchokodragon Not quite able to figure out he notes by ear but 0:35-0:40 in Mob's theme (ruclips.net/video/vM1Y0sppaCU/видео.html) has the same overall upwards progression in the second half of the melody (most clearly heard at 0:56-1:05) in this song. But in the first half it is a reversed progression (Mob's theme goes up then down before the second half - ' ' - - _ (poorly visualised I admit), this song goes down then up - _ ' -.) Mob's theme does spilt the mid notes into two separate beats to create that wailing theme but the overall links are there that a better music theorist than me could probably figure out. :D Also some of the choir moments sound very similar to some of the more wailing moments from Mob's explosions.
@@mclark7142 Thank you! I've always liked Kenji Kawai's soundtrack for it's diversity (orchestra, 80's Pop, synth, traditional Japanese instruments in ONE album? C'mon!) but it always lacked some leitmotif for me (the "Kageyama-Kyoudai-tracks do not count, they're variations of the same complete piece). This example proves that I should've given the composer more credit that I originally did and it makes me very happy.
I just got into Mob Psycho a short while ago, and didn't expect it to wring out all my emotions to the point where "Body Improvement! Fight On!" would make me cry. It was goddamn poetic when the last fight brings out Mob's rage emotion, just like when he snapped the first time against Dimple in season 1, episode 3. I even went back to that episode just to remember what it was like, just to figure out that the very first words in that episode are "Body Improvement! Fight On!". I don't really know if the series is ending for good here, but in my opinion, this is a satisfying ending to the story and struggle. Surpass your limits, and go beyond! Fight On!
Plus this explosion isn't just rage: Mob goes through a whole host of emotions here, starting with rage then going through sadness, fear, friendship etc. They intentionallt change the colours around him to show this, too.
When you're giving up in life's moments, listen to this music.... And say with all your might: "This is Nothing! I still have my dreams!" "Determined Willpower!!!" "Live On!!!"
Reminder that the title of this episode is Boss Fight, this OST slaps even more with this. Also its funny and sad to think how that one police officer tried a coup with those weaklings knowing what Suzuki can do, I originally thought he was some weak person too since his 'plans' were going wrong.
I just finished watching the fight between Hanazawa vs ??? It's beautiful to see how he care about his friend despite considering himself as his greatest rival
SAMEEE! I was so surprise when this ost played but it also feels very fitting since it symbolizes mob's kindness and teru reminiscing on how a genuinely kind hearted mob was just hits so hard
Why? The boss reached 100% output, his true potential, this was the moment mob realized he couldn’t lose and that he had to give it his all to beat him.
@@germsspices It's not what led to his loss. Him being unable to comprehend his limits is what led to his loss. If he had stayed at 80% after releasing his energy after getting twisted, he might have beaten him.
