Sound design is one of my favorite parts of games, honestly. There's nothing better than the sound of a crinkly paper as you pick up a note from a desk, the flapping of leather as you open your backpack, or the squishing of mud under your boots as you run from a horde of zombies. Sound makes the world come alive, and when it's done especially well, it just makes me smile on the inside.
I implore anybody to go and pay attention to the audio quality in AC Valhalla, I still don’t think they’ve fixed it. Sounds like it’s coming from a compressed tin can, just like the audio in Dark Souls Remastered on the Switch to presumably cost cut on lower storage capacity cartridges
It's my understanding that Avowed takes place in the same universe as Pillars. So hopefully that means that at least the lore will continue to be relevant.
It's the most mundane fantasy world in a good way, the moral dilemmas feel so real despite them happening in a magical world, it feels beautiful from that perspective.
Same same same. Not to mention they're good games. PoE is obviously a new and underfunded things, but PoE2 is one of the isometric RPGs around. I love Obsidian...someone please give them all the money.
You are dead on about the audio! I never understood how important audio was to combat until I downloaded a mod called immersive sounds for Skyrim. With that mod it was almost as if you could feel a blade tearing through flesh or a mace impacting against armor! That mod alone made combat feel so much better to the point that I now consider an audio mod to be my favorite combat mod XD
, what are you talking about Maddie is one of the biggest shells on the internet. Did you see his interview with fraud Howard? The kid is a walking billboard you just need to give him the right swag bag and he'll jump as high as you want him too.
The problem with the animations feeling floaty, is not the weapons themselves, but the enemies. They have directional bleeding but the enemies dont move when hit, you are a berserker swinging an axe like a truck, but even the skeletons dont move very much, when their heads should be smacking into walls. This combined with an audio issue would cause a problem with melee combat compared to ranged, because real ranged weapons dont have much stagger unless you hit someone with a shotgun, or something else with spread
It also looked like everytime matty did a melee attack, his character would jerk forward a couple inches, like the game was trying to lock him onto the target. Looked kinda wonky as soon as I saw it.
Partially agree. The weapons need more weight though, you could see when swinging two weapons the character just flicks them. There's no sensation or (necessity?) of putting your weight forward into your attacks. 100% correct about the lack of knockback/feedback from the enemies.
Diablo 4 mobs have better animations when you zoom in on them and you barely see the animations because of the bird's eye view camera and the fast pace.
You pay for gamepass? Then doesn't matter if this game sucks you blindly supporting it anyway regardless of the quality , it's not complicated if they keep making low quality games and you keep giving them money every month anyway , then that's all your gonna keep getting

Matt you are the ONLY person that said what I say all the time. To me the SOUND design is the most important to draw you into a game and not the visuals. Without proper sound, the game lacks the immersion to put you into that world. I'm a big VR gamer and have actually contacted a few of the games developers telling them to fix their sound. Some did and it added so much to the game where some haven't fixed theirs at all. I've returned a few VR games that have crappy sound design because you notice it way more in VR where you are IN the game as compared to just looking at it on a flat screen TV. You've earned much respect from me for calling out the sound because other then myself, I've never heard anyone else comment when a games sound is garbage.

KCD is the only first person RPG with melee combat that feels like melee combat It's also extremely difficult to take on anything more than 1 or 2 enemies at any single point and probably would not work at all in a high paced fantasy RPG I think somewhat floaty melee combat is just something we have to live with if we want ranged and melee fighting to be balanced in a first person game
KCD is amazing thing is first person melee is hard same way there only games like Maxpayne 3, Vanquish and Gears 3 that really nailed 3rd person gunplay in the PS3 gen. What they should do is just made this a game a wizard based harry potter type game and focused on range combat.
@@Ronuk1996 yeah, maybe forcing the PC down a caster/ranged focused path and leave melee combat to companions, but I don't think many people would like that sort of solution I don't mind melee feeling floaty in faster paced first person combat personally, but I generally prefer a more methodically paced approach to combat in games, KCD>Skyrim combat all day

While I agree about the FPS, I do think it's important to emphasize the "Single-Player" part of the quote when he said "FPS games don't need 60FPS." He's saying "it's not a multiplayer game, so the benefits of high framerate for those types of FPS games isn't exactly a necessity for single player games." Is that true? Up for debate, but I get where they're coming from. We're not twitch shooting and out reacting another human here, it's a single player experience. So long as the frame PACING is good, I think we won't mind the 30FPS, but 60 is always a welcome addition.
Yeah i get their point, but at the same time people aren't buying 4090s and mad i9s to run a single player game at 30FPS. Battlefront 2 is a great example of a very graphically impressive game whilst still being very easy to maintain 60FPS+. I Get that they're saying dropping the FPS allows for more graphical intense features but I'd personally prefer relatively nice graphics, 60fps and a great gameplay loop. Can't polish a shit at the end of the day
6:41 "you don't necessarily need that 60 frames" To that I say screw you. When I bought a new PC for Skyrim and my FPS went from 25 to 60 it was gamechanging. When will people stop saying crap like 30 FPS is enough? And even 90 is much better than 60. In a fast moving game - like the combat in this one - 30 is just plain painful, 60 is playable and 90 is amazing.
The human eye can't perceive more than like 50 fps. So 60 is definitely better than 30. But any difference you think you see going from 60 to 90 is imaginary.
@@MakerInMotion So I guess the people playing competitive shooters with an advantage at 120 fps are getting that benefit from a mystical perception rather than based on something they can see and respond to?
As someone who always goes Spellcaster in RPG's, I'm happy to hear the ranged combat is good. Hoping they can improve the sound design in time of launch.
I'm sad that they pushed it to February. Looks like I'll be saving money this December as Avowed was my Holiday game. Will probably opt to work through the holiday so I can have my 3 weeks leave in Feb.
@@molnet999 They said they were very happy with the graphical fidelity trade-off with going 30fps. OF COURSE 30fps is the MINIMUM. It HAS to be the minimum.... From the sound of it, the best we can hope for on day 1 is a LOCKED 30 fps.
On release. For console. If you're playing on PC it's 60+. THey always tweak their games post launch, so it'll get better after the first round of patches for console. They're not a console company for this franchise so I can understand then being conservative.
I'd rather have a smooth 30 fps with beautiful graphics than a glitchy unstable "graphics mode" with weird graphic changes and unstable frames that are almost never 60fps. That tends to he how most console games are these days. Jedi Survivor and FF16 come to mind.

@@TheRealCaptainLavender Outer Worlds* is the name of Obsidian's game. Outer Wilds is a very different game made by Mobius Digital, and Obsidian could only wish they were able to make a game as good as Outer Wilds.
I’ve honestly never understood the strange FPS elitism, I think for some game genres I can understand why it matters so much, especially when you’re in the realm of competitive shooters. I feel like FPS is one of those things that people choose to let bother them without fully considering how much it actually affects their experience. No joke, I have seen dudes enjoying video games below 60fps because they couldn’t tell, but as soon as they look at the FPS on their PC and find out that the game was running below 60, they get all butthurt about it. But they couldn’t tell it was below 60fps until they actually checked, and it didn’t even bother them until they knew. Which leads me to believe that there are a lot of people who say they really care about FPS but can barely tell the difference. I do agree that the melee combat looked very floaty and reminiscent of Skyrim, but as far as the FPS goes, I thought the game looked fine. If low FPS really bothers you then that’s your experience and that’s totally valid, it just personally never bothered me so I’ve never understood the wild reactions that people have to low FPS games.
Modern gaming made technicians of us all and I don't have the energy for it. Everyone talking about a bunch of shit that...whatever dude, it doesn't even matter as long as the game isn't a choppy-ass lagmess lmao
playing with a higher framerate is just so much more enjoyable. so smooth. I really like 120fps however cause of energy prices in uk to achieve 120fps i have to rely on framegen otherwise im sucking 600w + out of the wall. going back to 60fps was so noticeable and painful. but much friendlier for 250-300w. ive managed to get used to it again but i know so much better is available.
The two 1st person RPG titles from Obsidian are my most anticipated of the known releases of the next months/year. Still no material on The Outer Worlds 2 (hopefully Tim Cain's involvement is enough for some solid hope?), but all I've seen so far about Avowed is spot on what I hoped for. Fingers crossed. Thanks for your videos!
How anyone can say 60fps isn’t necessary I really don’t understand. With the pc’s we have and all games having performance modes, 30fps is a real problem for a lot of people - I cannot go back to 30 it feels too slow and looks terrible in motion when you’re moving the camera, it’s hugely noticeable. This needs to play at 60
As an old school RPG/Obsidian fan I literally do not give a fuck. I play OLD school CRPGs where FPS does not matter a goddamn bit. All I care about is the writing and the gameplay and that seems to be the general sentiment from actual Obsidian fans.
@@nicoyazawa6890 I totally respect that, I guess what I’m saying is - why wouldn’t you just play on PC? PC gamepass? The combat isn’t turn based like an old school CRPG, it’s action - 30fps is really bad for that especially if you’ve been spoiled by 60 for so long. I’ll be playing this on PC, I just think they should build the game around 60fps minimum on console, and stop with the ‘no need for 60’ as clearly a very large portion of the gaming public do want this. They are disrespecting the series x by saying that - in a years time there will be a 60fps patch for series x, why not have it there from the beginning?
30 FPS makes me nauseous, its basically unplayable. I tried playing starfield on by buddies Xbox running at 30 (I play on PC) and I had to put that controller down after 10 minutes. I cant imagine who actually finds 30 fps even playable.
They haven't aged. They're barely being utilized properly. It's just that dev trends use the resources in a way that turns the visual dials up as far as possible, with the difference being taken from framerate because they think it doesn't matter. It's like people who live paycheck to paycheck, get a raise, and instead of keeping their standard of living the same and building wealth, they just increase their spending so that they're still living paycheck to paycheck.
Companies found out they can cut on optimization time and ship the game early. Optimization takes A LOT of time and effort. A game that looks this bad visually should run at 60+ fps no problem. Early in this gen every game had a 60 mode. Now they found out, oh if we don't want to, we don't have to.
@@terrythegnome2408 I do think Xbox series S hurts with optimization but overall, I normally refuse to play games if they're locked at 30FPS besides obviously older titles from last gen consoles

I´ve seen a comment that perfecetly summed up what I think about their response regarding FPS. "Saying you don´t need 30 FPS in 1st person game is new "human eye can see only 24 FPS". Obsidian really should listen here and implement performance mode.
If only people knew just how insane the lore of this universe is. Very happy to see the glossary options detailing some Eothas lore tips with info about Waidwen and the Saint's War. I think the biggest disservice you could do to yourself prior to playing Avowed is not at least watch some lore videos on Pillars of Eternity. Play Pillars, if you can.
Well to be fair, low fps can be used as a stylistic choice. Lots of games have been made that were intentionally choppy in order to capture a certain style. Not saying that’s the case for avowed, just saying that smooth motion doesn’t necessarily equate to a better game from an artistic perspective.
@@carsonnesbit1178 no, no it cannot. There is a difference between animating on 2s or 5s giving a "choppy" appearance, and running the entire game at slideshow speeds because of incompetent technical direction. The first is fine because it is an intentional choice, the second is not because it is the consequence of failed staff.
If the dialogue and story dimension is solid I'm actually pretty hyped (as a PC player who has little interest in melee haha). I am a big Pillars fan and I was worrying that this would be a dud but I am heartened by this footage and I have faith that Obsidian can get the sound issues figured out -- I appreciate your attention to those details, Matty!

With Doom Eternal running at 4K60fps with Ray tracing, Halo Infinite running at an easy 60fps in a large open world with, arguably, better looking overall assets, lighting and effects, and any PS5 exclusive looking amazing on their custom engines, it's absolutely a let down for this game only being 30fps. Even starfield made more sense running at 30fps with the object density and physics sims AND EVEN that they got running at 60fps lol. Not good for us Series X owners. Xbox has the hardware, but most of their software talent seems to be like amateur indie studio level.

60 FPS standard is the minimum in my mind. You cant say "but out game looks great" when i can bearly see how good it looks and hardly smoother than a movie. If even iGPUs are capable of reaching 30 FPS on your game, you need to change you focus.
The series X is just false advertising at this point. We should really look into doing a class auction lawsuit. You cant promise 60fps and just do 60fps on old games.

It's crazy to me that they are still making games that run at 30 fps. No one cares about the slight uptick in graphical detail. The graphics are much less noticeable compared to the smoothness and playability of 60+ fps. I can see the difference between 30 and 60fps immediately, but not the difference between high compared to ultra quality graphics.
Thanks for covering the combat elements because that's been one of my biggest hesitations with this game. This is going to be one of those "try it on Game Pass" games for me and hopefully they can fine tune it even more between now and release.
I would advise Obsidian to delay the launch on Console. Release it on PC first so that there aren’t the complaints about frame rates. And only release the console versions after sufficient optimisations. Microsoft and obsidian have been warned. If they don’t listen, they’ll only have themselves to blame when the very average reviews start coming through. 30fps completely take away from the experience. My advice for all games developers is to target 60fps as a minimum. And focus on creating the best most optimised graphics possible with that constraint in mind. If they can hit 90 on the XBSX and PCs, great, but 60 minimum for something like the XBSS. Because what that does is that it opens up gaming to those with integrated graphics cards and the more casual gamers.
But we've heard that before, and it turns out to be the target they are developing for rather than a "you can to get amazing visuals" edit: I'm on pc, but I feel bad for everyone running xbox. They drop the ball for the system imo
MS should've learned by now that the internet is going to keep tearing apart every single game they release that targets 30 fps on console... Do they like the months of bad PR before each release? Because no matter how great the game ends up being, trying to sell people, "30 fps is more cinematic," or "you don't NEED 60 fps," is just asking for a ton of backlash! It looks great, and I've always trusted Obsidian to make a great RPG, but was Redfall, Starfield & Hellblade 2 not enough examples of bad press shooting yourself in the foot? What's the upside of not even making a Performance Mode at launch, expecially when you're going to do it months later anyway AFTER everyone has preemptively crapped all over your game?

It's like they want people to start with a negative perception of every game months ahead of release. I'll get to enjoy Avowed at 60 fps on PC, but now people will talk about the game as if it already sucks simply because they're too dumb to give console players 60 at launch

Initially he mentioned platforming which threw me, until they started explaining their concern of spoilers.
Personally, I'm quite excited for Avowed. I love the art direction and color work, which so few studios experiment with. The caribbean pirate aesthetic mixed with magic setting really appeals to me, and it's something refreshing.
I haven’t played POE 1+2 but own them, and I’ve been reluctant to get into them just due to the type of game it is. Isometric CRPGs aren’t something I’m very experienced in. But I plan on getting Avowed and hoping I enjoy the game and the universe enough to grip me into playing the POE games. It looks petty cool so far
If you haven't played those games yet you're never going to. There's no way a cheap shitty version of an action game set in the same universe is going to entice you to play the tremendous Masterpiece that is the first pillars of eternity, the second one is in nearly as good but that first game is one of the greatest RPGs ever made.
@@TheRealCaptainLavender I wouldn’t say I’m never going to. I have tons of games on my backlog that I’ve owned for years and eventually I get to them. Also what about POE2 makes it not as good as the first one?
The gameplay looks awful tbh, & the 30fps is inexcusable, xbox saying that 60fps would be standard output and not getting 60fps at launch on games is moronic. 2024 on series X still getting 30fps is poor
Why is everyone afraid to talk about third person in Avowed, it's already confirmed and we've seen glimpses of it and could help with the melee combat. Also some people really don't like first person games but love western RPGs, one of the reasons Skyrim was so successful.
People defending 30fps on a first party title are just fanboys. That’s just not acceptable. There needs to be a performance mode at launch not 6month later with an update when most people already finished it
"But Dragon's Dogma 2!" And to that I say, (1) Avowed is a first party exclusive title, and (2) I stopped playing Dragon's Dogma 2 because the performance sucks, and I'd rather wait for one day when we get a smooth version.

The two most underrated elements of games for me are audio and the controller rumble. Both these elements, being of a high standard, can elevate an average game above average. I still remember playing Killzone on PS3 without dualshock and thinking it felt lifeless. Vibration is the main reason that I use controllers instead of mouse and keyboard.
So upsetting that the game that was going to be Obsidian's Skyrim turned into fantasy Outer Worlds. Pillars of Eternity is so good. It deserves to be a big player.
HAVE YOU GUYS NOTICED THAT ALL XBOX STUDIO DEVS THAT HAVE MADE A NEW GAME IN THE PAST 2-3 YEARS OR SO HAVE SAID "OH WE WENT WITH 30FPS B/C WE WANT IT TO BE BEAUTIFUL".... HMMM SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT WITH XBOX THIS GENERATION. IF ALL PS5 FIRST PARTY GAMES RUN AT 60FPS, WHY DONT THESE XBOX X GAMES DO THE SAME? I SERIOUSLY BELIEVE THAT THEY ARENT TELLING US SOMETHING ABOUT XBOX AS TO WHY NONE OF THE GAMES (AVOWED,STARFIELD, ETC) WONT BE RUNNING AT 60FPS. WHICH LETS FACE IT, SHOULD BE THE STANDARD IN GAMING IN 2024. THANKS SONY!
When 120hz monitors first came out I got one. I went from being bottom to middle of counter strike scoreboards, to being top or close to literally every time I played. To say fps doesn’t make a difference is insane. It’s the only change I made and I was instantly just better than 90% of people because of the fps. The difference it makes to your ability to play a game is absolutely objectively amazing, single player or not.
Them not taking the time to optimize the game on console to at least run at 60 FPS will be more of a Hinderance to them than they think. And if it can only hit 60 on a PC than they seriously need to Delay the game
I'm excited for this game. I think Obsidian will deliver like they usually do. I expect this to be as good as Trinity - which means there will be many who miss it's greatness.
I'm not much of a frames elitist, but damn really? only 30? I'd understand if the game was on something underpowered like the Switch, but 30 on any other console in 2024 is kinda weird.
@@nerobiblios4086 i mean the issue here is clearly not that the new consoles arent powerful enough. The issue is that these devs think that "no one needs 60fps" and prioritize graphical fidelity etc instead of performance. If they really wanted to they totally could make all these games run at 60+fps its just that for some reason they don't think its necessary.
I agree with what you said about sound being underrated in games. It literally enhances everything and I think it can make or break a game.
Did they not say in the ilp interview that sound was one of the last things and it would be improved before launch
The Souls games are a prime example of this, especially with visceral attacks/backstabs. The sound, combined with controller feedback are everything.
@@jqydon I’m not sure what you mean, all I’m saying is that I agree with matty that sound is an underrated part of video game design.

its sad how alot of ip's are so good but then big company goes *bong* bad choices and destroys it
It's my understanding that Avowed takes place in the same universe as Pillars. So hopefully that means that at least the lore will continue to be relevant.
It's the most mundane fantasy world in a good way, the moral dilemmas feel so real despite them happening in a magical world, it feels beautiful from that perspective.
God man ikr
Same same same. Not to mention they're good games. PoE is obviously a new and underfunded things, but PoE2 is one of the isometric RPGs around. I love Obsidian...someone please give them all the money.
You are dead on about the audio! I never understood how important audio was to combat until I downloaded a mod called immersive sounds for Skyrim. With that mod it was almost as if you could feel a blade tearing through flesh or a mace impacting against armor! That mod alone made combat feel so much better to the point that I now consider an audio mod to be my favorite combat mod XD
Problem with those are you need a good dac amp and good open back headphones in order to really get the full experience.

, what are you talking about Maddie is one of the biggest shells on the internet. Did you see his interview with fraud Howard? The kid is a walking billboard you just need to give him the right swag bag and he'll jump as high as you want him too.
Same Matty that made _"Fallout 76 My brutally honest opinion..."_ don't trust him.
Why can't devs figure this out? Can't they hire someone who knows how to do a good job in this area?
Partially agree. The weapons need more weight though, you could see when swinging two weapons the character just flicks them. There's no sensation or (necessity?) of putting your weight forward into your attacks. 100% correct about the lack of knockback/feedback from the enemies.
Diablo 4 mobs have better animations when you zoom in on them and you barely see the animations because of the bird's eye view camera and the fast pace.

Without proper sound, the game lacks the immersion to put you into that world. I'm a big VR gamer and have actually contacted a few of the games developers telling them to fix their sound. Some did and it added so much to the game where some haven't fixed theirs at all. Halo infinite shipped at 4k 60fps cuz it was cross platform and every game was supposed to be at those specs. Cross plat should HELP them get 60 on series x not harm that.
@@terrythegnome2408 I think they said making the game on series S is like starting from scratch since it's pretty much it's own console. But that was just one development team talking about it. Either way, 30 fps is bullshit

Im so happy to hear about the wedding!
I haven’t played a game below 60fps since 2012. Granted, I’m not a console owner, but I’m surprised that there are still titles releasing with a 30fps target. Truly remarkable.
Sadly, too many dummies still support 30fps games...
A game designer, who works with this stuff day in and day it and has to look at it all the time saying that 30fps is ok, is absolutely wild to me. 30fps is so noticably slow unless you're playing on a CRT.

This is the most luke warm review I've heard of the new footage yet. . The new footage has me really excited to play so I hope it's better than you think.
"Last thing to do" nowadays means it is set in stone and deal with it.
I´ve seen a comment that perfecetly summed up what I think about their response regarding FPS. "Saying you don´t need 30 FPS in 1st person game is new "human eye can see only 24 FPS". Obsidian really should listen here and implement performance mode.
With Obsidian aiming for a Outer Worlds sized game, which they made while still a indie developer, how will Avowed be priced?
Big games have moved on from the $60 of the Outer Worlds; $70 is now standard.
Looking forward to this game. I love everything Obsidian, and I feel good about this one.
So cringe to hear an art director say that smooth motion doesn't matter in games. Come on man!
Why didn't you guys push back a bit on the 30fps convo? I thought that was a real moment that you as gamers could plee/explain why we want 60 min or at least the option and they could go more in depth as to why they feel 30fps is ok etc. Missed moment imo
They probably didn't want to come off as going after him. They were happy to get the interview and he is a guest

You're comparing a fixed straight forward game to an open world game. It's always been the same problem. Metroid prime remastered is 60fps on switch...breath of the wild is 30fps. One is open world, one isn't.
PS game budget is so bbig, Hfw 214 million, Spiderman 2 312, and the Avowed is AA game, this budget much much less.
@@yanceyboyzumm. Avowed isn't open world. And it runs at 30.
Starfield, Cyberpunk, halo infinite, a bunch of assassins creed games and elden ring are all open world games. And they all run at 60 frames.
Are you ok?
@@frankhemstra634 halo infinite was cross gen as were all of the assassin's creeds, as was cyberpunk which notoriously ran at horrible frame rates and I think you'll find starfield launched at 30 FPS and had to make major cuts to get to 60 which it does not hold. A vowed has 6 months of development left and they have not confirmed it is always going to be 30 FPS. There is a high chance it will get a 60 FPS patch if it's not there at launch. Yes, I'm okay. Thanks.
Thats cool and all but that still doesnt make avowed an open world game. @@yanceyboyz
I'm an old gamer, give me good content, writing and exploration and I don't care about your fps. It's not competitive gaming. I would rather have immersive environments than 120 frames. Assassin's creed Odyssey has great framerate on series x but the game is not engrossing so what does it matter. This game looks interesting, if it sticks to pillars of eternity lore I'm stoked. My character was from the lands you seem to go to in this so I'm excited to see it.
Really looking forward to this project. Your comments about the melee side of things being rough sucks to hear (I love doing a simple sword & board playthrough), but I think they got the time and the talent to improve on it significantly. Other than that, it looks great. I hope the exploration will be the best an Obsidian game has had to offer.
You weren’t promised 60fps. You invented that expectation and disappointed yourself thinking it would be the case.
@@KJ-4496 You either got selective memory or you didn't pay any attention.
60fps was promised to a point to where stickers had to be manually printed onto the Redfall boxes. With the sticker saying 60fps performance mode not available at launch.
How cute that you actually think this is "class action lawsuit" worthy when 95% of Series X games run at 60 FPS or more
@@jimmythegamer2231 Dude, don't be a Microsoft chill, old games shouldn't count since there were ways to play them at 60fps already, its called a pc.
Every single new game coming out so far other than halo infinite has been stuck at 30fps.
And that one is a f2p game
It's crazy to me that they are still making games that run at 30 fps. No one cares about the slight uptick in graphical detail. The graphics are much less noticeable compared to the smoothness and playability of 60+ fps. I can see the difference between 30 and 60fps immediately, but not the difference between high compared to ultra quality graphics.
Nobody cares about fps sort to tell you. The vast majority of gamers do not care. You are a minority.
Is this on Color Blind mode? The over saturated colors of this game and the Outer Worlds. Ouch.

Xbox has become a joke, let's be honest. 30fps failure after failure. I've bought every Xbox console except OG xbox but I'm done with Xbox at this point. PS5 pro can't come soon enough

It's a shame, because I love PC Game Pass, but they've made it so people don't trust their consoles, while setting up their games for failure before they even release.
It's like they want people to start with a negative perception of every game months ahead of release. I'll get to enjoy Avowed at 60 fps on PC, but now people will talk about the game as if it already sucks simply because they're too dumb to give console players 60 at launch
Matty, you're a real one. Got invited by Xbox and still kept it real! 💯
Hey Matty, if I am recalling properly, you asked them if there were puzzles and if so to give you an example. Hence, they were trying to answer your question, yet they'd have to give too much context that would reveal too much story. Also, he seemed to provide an answer, that he felt wouldn't be too much of a spoiler. I may be wrong it was a few days ago since I had seen the interview, but they stated there were puzzles.
