The discoveries made in the last 15 years since Wonders of The Solar System have been amazing. We just never get to hear about them as they aren't deemed mainstream news-worthy, which baffles me! Really looking forward to this.
Mr. Cox is the David Attenborough of Space Science, he is also much more in tune with earth science than mostly everything out there. Lucky to be able to learn as much as possible from his common sense regarding our role in the universe at this time.
Prof Brian cox needs to focus more about planets outside the solar system more often, I like to watch prof Brian a lot, looking forward for the next serie
Prof. Cox said he studied the best public speakers early when asked to be in front of the camera and he said an important thing he learnt then was the pace that the best spoke at ...he found the very Fast talkers were not getting interest more than 10 minutes they were not allowing process time ...too slow was not good either rather its a conversation with the audience ....hes right .
I remember Brian Cox when he was in "D'Ream" as a keyboard player. He's very much taken over from Sir Patrick Moore who used to host "The Sky At Night" on BBC2. He's brilliant & always willing to debunk old theories when new info comes along. My wife likes Cox too, but that's a whole different subject.
I could listen to Dr Cox talk all day, his voice is so soothing. But also…the man is 56 and he looks 35, why is this not a question that comes up in his interviews regularly? 😂😂
8:07 Ok, I've got a quick question which I need to ask universe is unusual. It's something which we cannot predict is something which we cannot get ready four It is unpredictable environment where certain evolution changes rapidly will slow
I really hope starship and other new rockets can lead to cheaper and bigger probes in the future. We should really be sending probes to every single planet and moon in the solar system as soon as possible
Regarding the new BBC series Solar System - Great. Another chance to listen to Brian Cox talking about the wonders of the solar system while the camera remains resolutely focussed on his face. Is this some kind of joke?
@@austenpowers I was merely expressing my disappointment. I am drawn to the subject matter, and as a licence holder I contributed to the cost of making the programme. But the show might as well be on the radio for all we will see of the solar system :) For the better part of the time we will be looking at the face of Prof. Brian Cox. No harm to him. I actually like the guy. And as for 'don't watch it' - What? Are you twelve? :)
Geezers??? I'm living in a high rise in Florida...We have more geezers than Yellowstone 😂!!!! The professor,Dr Cox, Looks like an eager kid!!! Though, close ups show the few wrinkles 🤓!!!

I am sorry, @guypainter, that science isn’t delivering newsworthy facts fast enough for you. We’ll try to better us, thank you for your honest feedback.
Nonsense. We have discovered a lot in the past 15 years and this new series builds on this. Brian even says this at the start of the video so you clearly didn’t watch it anyway. 🤷♂️
Not only he is extremely intellectual, but also his voice is very warm and pleasant. I have so much respect for him. ❤️❤️❤️
That is what drew me to Cosmos and Carl Segan 40 plus years ago.
He’s the physicist version of David Attenborough.. his voice draws you in.

The real wonder of the solar system is how Brian refused to age😂
😂🎉🎇
Botox
It's so much fun to watch and listen to someone who is so excited about what they do for a living. I absolutely loved this series.
Enjoyable, exciting, informed and profound - thank you :)

When the film crew gets back from Vega im sure he'll do something

Fantastic series 🙂

all conditions are extreme, until you take it for granted through our eyes
My dream missions are Europa + Enceladus and I am not talking merely orbital but actual landing and drilling into/through the ice!
Prof I love you

The question I want to know is, who chooses the locations??? That's what I've always wondered.
The producers of the show talk a bit about that! ruclips.net/video/I-uAhXeaLVw/видео.html
@IFLScienceOfficial thanks for that buddy👍👍
Need more multiple task missions, like Cassini

how do we watch this in the US?
Exactly!!
Try BBC Worldwide or the iPlayer- don’t know if this helps?
Exactly ! Put the money 💰 in right places !!!
How to become a millionaire? Start as a billionaire and fund a space programme!
does energy come from gravity?
I thought they were going to present the newest research on the solar system, not pitch a show about that.
Io has geezers??
I really hope starship and other new rockets can lead to cheaper and bigger probes in the future. We should really be sending probes to every single planet and moon in the solar system as soon as possible
The solar system is valuable.. that's the key. Or what you feel about it means very little.

How about don’t watch it.

They always make it so hard to watch BBC in Australia, so much so, I give up look bye
Brian, in your spare time, could you help run this planet? Asking for a species.
❤❤❤

Gotta love the Brits! 😊
I'm guessing by Brian's posture and distance that the interviewer had really bad breath. 🤣🤣🤣
Glad someone else noticed that. His hair and clothes do look a bit manky😆
And if Jupiter and Saturn were the size of a football than smelled of pvc you got from Woolworths..
😎
gezzers?
Religion
Both these guys look like they just jumped out of bed.
Oh those silly scientists. 😊

Interesting, but what is the point of cleaning the street when your house is full of garbage 🗑😂Solve Mr Geoff problems first...
Please dont do anymore botox, just age graceful😊
Has he had Botox?
Vote Trump
Yet another re-hash of the exact same stuff he's been doing for twenty years.
They said content is different, like Ceres

If it was up to people like you, we would still be living in caves, not exploring the solar system.
