I hadn't thought about it, but sure. Once I have a few more, I'll do a demo showing some eternal cities and talking about them mechanically. It should give my autism grey matter a good workout.
I like how Jake tore down a fruit farm in favor of a wheat farm in his initial industry area to get a wee bit more export income but never set a warehouse to accept the wheat so the farm sat useless all game.
Hey Jake, thanks for playing my map (Son of Ares was an old handle of mine that I had used on Heaven Games). Hope you enjoyed the map, may have gone a little overkill on the rocks though. Just fit the environment so well. As I did say on the forum post that I am not an expert at the game so my testing set the challenge level to someone of my skill level. I'll clearly need to 'get good' if I want to make something a bit more challenging the next time. Seeing you complete this map is giving me an itch to make a new one!
Trying to craft something to his ability is a fool's game. He'll crush it like everything and say "Where's the challenge' meanwhile anyone else will be going through the burning of Rome.
One of my favorites of all time. I always built in concentric circles with the walkers on the inner circle so they had to hit every dwelling. Saved soooo much frustration.
"I think Caesar has a bit of respect for my abilities, that's what the lore says" Of course he does, he watched your seleuceum video. He had a blast and he swore never to doubt you again. he was even caught saying things like "please, take all the debt you ever want, I won't sent my legions !" (what ? Unlikely ? Oh c'mon.)
Childhood RCT was, indeed, overpowered for childhood dopamine and enjoyment. Grew up with PC games only despite being born in the mid 90s, because we needed a computer as a family but didn't really have extra money for a "gaming only" system on top of that. So RCT, Sim City, Age of Empires, Starcraft, stuff like that was my childhood.
rollercoaster tycoon and Zoo tycoon so much fun when I was a kid they still are ^^ do play them way too less, Too many games too little time, even if I would game 24/7 games coming out faster than I can play them xD
Hi! New to the channel. Why don’t you use Augustus’s new features, like supply posts and roadblocks? Anyway thanks for putting out new Caesar 3 content, this is incredible!
I prefer my Caesar 3 experience to be vanilla. Although there are lots of quality of life features that I like in Augustus, I do not like all the gameplay changes and rebalancing.
How elegant is the English language, pronounced well. Congratulations. Let me ask you a question: When I convert a warehouse into a trading center...why later when I look again, is it a warehouse again? Greetings from Argentina...Thank you..!!!
@@DDRJake looking through your playlist I'm not seeing it elsewhere, perhaps I'm thinking of another C3 player who may have done this map, or I'm confusing this with the Hard North map somehow
Will never tire of seeing Caesar 3. Would also love to see some more of your crafted eternal cities

Marek catching strays from all the in the way rocks never ceases to be funny to me
That's why we call him Marock.

Urgh, I just noticed that now, I thought I'd left a warehouse accepting wheat but clearly not.
Exactly what I needed at the time I needed it most.
DDRJake uploading a Caesar 3 vod on RUclips.
Thank you!
I also love the magical Roman water
Yes! I knew someone would appreciate the architecture of my aqueducts.

Jesus, Jake. Christmas was last year, what's going on with you gifting us another Caesar III video?
Plebs for singular, plebes for plural.
And the correct Latin pronunciation of Caesar is the one in New Vegas.
I didn't know that about plebs, fascinating.
Wait, NV uses both pronunciations. Which is correct: The legion's, or the rest of the Mojave's?

Nice! I love that game.
Aah the legendary g502 mouse
"egninnering concerns" pff blame on Jake instead :P, DOWN with the GOVENOR :D
Was this a map you played before on stream Jake? I feel like I've seen this from your channel before.
No, this is certainly the first time I've checked out Rhine Fortress, unless I'm truly losing my marbles.

Super cozy city in not much time
Ooooo raaaa
Do you use any mods on C3?
Just Julius, which is a great overhaul of the game to make it run well on modern systems while keeping it vanilla.
Toga Boy :D
Sometimes Caesar gets the better of me, but not today.
