- Recently Jetko released some pretty sweet on-road tires that fit the funky 14mm hex pattern of the Arrma 3S Vehicles. Coming from the Duratrax Speedhawks I wasn't sure what to expect... but these Super Sonic ST tires REALLY impressed me. They feature USA rubber and a Loctite seal of approval, and ABSOLUTELY HOOK on asphalt.

I bought the Banditos for my Big Rock and was pretty disappointed with the ballooning. The Jetcos look very nice.
I’ve heard a lot of issues with the bigger duratrax tires. The hexes seem to strip easily. These have held up well

tip we sort of used to use on tam tt01 tyres..... to stop that ballooning...
flip the tyres inside out and stick some gorrila or tank tape to the insides...
foam inserts... if poss
ballooning tyres can as you know pop of the rims... glue em with CA glue stop that happening
I know these are not banded....can we even get that on RC tyres... ?

Bought a set of duratrax belted for big rock will not buy belted on 3 s maybe 4 s to heavy on 3 s it killed drive ability. Love the traction. Big rock stock tires are horrible in wet conditions. Great tire comparison. Bash on bro👍

Nice vid- do you think these tires would handle 65mph and above? How are they wearin, are the vent holes on the rim or tire? do you think the monster truck (MT) version of this would balloon more?

I've been pounding my head against the wall to decide what tires to put on the big rock next. Do you know the difference in how the vorteks and granite tires compare in performance?
Bro bro! Yes I do! The granite tires are definitely bigger, softer and balloon more. Better for air control. The Vorteks tires are better street/ speed tires as they are a harder rubber and don’t balloon as much. Hope this helps!

Tire has a good look but I personally would keep them on the 2s side of things because of the balloon effect. And that skate park looks like it could get expensive. Great tire showcasing vid, with the side by side views!! Keep them coming!!
Thanks for watching! and I might need to revisit that skatepark with a car that has higher ground clearance for sure. I do agree about the balloon affect. I think a longer wheelbase car like the big rock would obviously keep the front tires on the ground more, reducing the ballooning in the front

What’s the difference between the Mt and ST units?
MT typically stands for Monster Truck, while ST stands for Stadium Truck. MT tires are usually bigger/ wider
Would they fit on infraction mega ? Even if I have to trim the body some that would be fine.
You’d have yo trim the body a lot. They are 14mm hex so they should technically fit
