Honestly, I only showed you a tiny tiny fraction. There was so many more items that I would have been thrilled to let you see… next time, just ignore my video and go for yourself! You won’t regret it
@@Spegtacular yes I believe that you are very trueful and this why I watch you. You are very good at showing we average people what exist in today's world....
"Nice beaver! Thanks, I just had it stuffed." Awesome slabbage and cool Cuban coin Speg! Also drooling over that guy's Libertad set and especially your two gold pick ups!
I wanted to come down so bad I couldn’t stand it. If nothing more than to support my local LCS who travels down for all of the shows. Reality is that life happens and other expenses were the priority….love the post Spegtacular!
Great to see someone cover the commems. I'm about one or two coins away from finishing up my most wanted list. I love the combination of history and coinage. Great way to learn, invest, and appreciate US history. Commems were smoking hot in the 80s but then cooled off. Great to see a rebound! Thnx.
Got back today from the show today. I did 2 1/2 days! I'm beat. Lots of walking and leaning over to look at coins and paper money. But everytime I go I learn a little bit more. There are plenty of dealers who are willing to sincerely educate. It was overall a blast! As you said, lots of eye candy! Thanks for showing folks what they're missing!! Take care and thanks!!
The last 2 mins or so is where it is at! Speg, you are positively influencing the masses. In these times, we need all the positive influencing we can get. When you buy coins and precious metals, you are spending your money while investing it at the same time.
I'm looking forward to going to a coin show again, that said the FUN show is way bigger than anything I've ever been too! I've watched every one of these on your channel and I always look forward to them. Thank you!
Thanks Jessie - Appreciate your videos. I was also there for 2 days…. Got the blue bag. Spent more than I should but happy with all the purchases. (I did Blow all my money and then some) Filled a few spots and got some nice sets. Finally got my 2021 full 6 coin $1 set. Anyway, love this videos. Thanks…
I have a small Cuban coin, with a hole in it that is on my foreign coin necklace. Just like my US 1830s coin necklace, it's a rhodium plated sterling chain, with palladium gold lobster claws with platinum jump rings. They're my 5PM makes of art lol
Very nice. Its funny because I just started getting hooked on US half commems with my first 3 just picked up Oregon Trail, stone mountain and patriot. Thanks for showing your finds as it is inspiring to have a historic collection and for the great videos and interviews.
Very nice commemoratives. Something I like to look for as well. Someday I'll get more. Those gold coins are beautiful. I wish there was an event like that closer to me.
Thanks Speg! Went a couple years ag. Bought coins and even submitted a couple to NGC. I even got an MS 66 1921 PMorgan grade! Surprisingly. I love what you share. These shows are indeed fun!
Thanks for sharing. I have to say after watching your video with The Coin Guy you peaked my interest in Civil War Tokens. They are like the coins you are showing here, very interesting as they have beautiful artwork and have such a great display of Our History.
This was a really cool video my friend!! It was really cool to see which ones you ended up getting and mixed it with a little bit of video from the show! May our Lord and heaven bless you my friend! And have a wonderful day
Glad you had an awesome time! Wish we had those here... Your collection of commemorative halves is amazing! So many of those coins have such awesome designs!
Nice pickups. I can definitely see you brunch out and collect the gold commemoratives. I had them all except the 2 $50 gold pieces. The octagonal gold $50 was my dream coin. Maybe you can pick that up
The 1920 Pilgrim Commemorative Coin. Is a must for you. They were the first settlement of Americans. Look it up in the Red Book. Check out that ship. Yea it’s my 10th great Grandfather on the Obverse.
Awesome show! We went Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I talked to you prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony and then later in the show. Happy stacking! Oh yeah the flashlight is also a pen ;) Denise
My that was awesome I love the car show I wish I could go there I live in Macon Georgia I'm just getting started with collecting coins Most Fascinating thing
I personally don't like graded coins, I like the idea of feeling and holding them for my collection. In my opinion if your building a collection for diversification and variety that's okay I guess. I personally wouldn't mind getting a 1909 S VDB and I would be very happy especially doing it on my own by searching for it.
I was hoping you would make this video. I was not able to go to FUN this year, but now I feel like I have been. Love all your purchases! Thanks for making this video! I hope to go again next year. 👍
im curious on going to one of these. seein i can find some odd silver and do these kinds of shows also have deals and such out or is it like visiting lcs and see what they have type thing?
I should have gone myself, just went to the sarasota show and nice turn out, didn't have my must gets but who has tree shillings, 27 peace dollars is 65 and flowing hair dollar/half dollar, if they were that easy to get we'd all have them.lol...but that's where the fun of years of looking pay off.
Happily I have all the Commemorative halves you picked up....SADLY all of yours are slabbed and only two of mine are, those are some impressive coins!! LOVE the Grant....mine is not nearly so fine! Sad to hear the commemoratives are now popular, that will make my year's goal of upgrading more of a challenge. This upcoming weekend will be the Boeing Employee's coin club show here in the great northwet and I am hoping to have as much good luck as you just did!
Like the half dollars, tend to get overlooked. Most of them are pretty affordable, and in high grades as well. Also I think early commerative gold is overlooked as well.
You picked up some great coins. I’m going to plan on two days for summer FUN. I have a place to stay in Auburndale right off I-4 so the drive to the show is not quite as bad.
About 10 years ago i bought Alot of 1892 and 1893 Columbian Half dollar mostly under 30.00 dollars all BU they were very cheap for being a 1890's coin have about 70 of them.
I never realized that were so many coins, bills and collectors items that existed.. Thanks for showing an old man that these were made....
Honestly, I only showed you a tiny tiny fraction. There was so many more items that I would have been thrilled to let you see… next time, just ignore my video and go for yourself! You won’t regret it

I loved seeing the proof Mexican libertad set. I will go to this coin show one day.
Very nice. Its funny because I just started getting hooked on US half commems with my first 3 just picked up Oregon Trail, stone mountain and patriot. Thanks for showing your finds as it is inspiring to have a historic collection and for the great videos and interviews.
Thanks for posting this, I’ve been hearing a lot about this show, so it’s cool to see what it was like there.

Very nice commemoratives. Something I like to look for as well. Someday I'll get more. Those gold coins are beautiful. I wish there was an event like that closer to me.
Wow Speg! What a home run brother! Its crazy we have the same taste. I would imagine my purchases looking almost identical! 👏
Awesome that we think alike
Thanks Speg! Went a couple years ag. Bought coins and even submitted a couple to NGC. I even got an MS 66 1921 PMorgan grade! Surprisingly. I love what you share. These shows are indeed fun!

Thanks Sal!! You get into the old commems at all? I know you love new ones

Loved honest Abe.
Very nice! I have never been to a coin show. The more the years go by the more I slowly get into silver. Maybe I will hit one up one day
This was a really cool video my friend!! It was really cool to see which ones you ended up getting and mixed it with a little bit of video from the show! May our Lord and heaven bless you my friend! And have a wonderful day

Wow this looks so fun. I can't wait to go to my first show soon.
Can you do a video of your top 15 coins in your collection or something like that?
How about top 14 ;)
@spegtacular heck, while you're at it might as well make it top 25 🙃
Awesomeness to the tenth power! 😯
In the case of power outage, turn on your flashlight. Good idea.
You got some great commemoratives. The ones I want now are out of my price range. Your Grant being one of them.
The grant with the star is insane on price..no star isn’t terrible
Awesome show! We went Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I talked to you prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony and then later in the show. Happy stacking! Oh yeah the flashlight is also a pen

Thanks Ontario
I dig what you are saying.
congrats. I cant wait to get to a show some day
19:19 Do you think coins in those older holders are better for a given grade? Often? Sometimes? Occasionally?
Sometimes. Yes. Supposedly the story goes that in the earlier times of grading, they were more tough on grades.
Cheers
Great price on the viente peso coins. I have 2 1958 restrikes and a 1911/1931 ngc ms62. Super design.
Considering what this is costing me, I am disinclined to complain about how you decide to spend your time. Thanks for sharing the fun!
Looks like you got some really nice pieces Speg. Great video as always.
That's definitely more people than on Sunday. Dealers were clearing out.
Another great video One of these days I'm going to get down to the Fun show
I’ve been collecting the Commemorative Half’s myself. I have 12 of them so far
Actually 14 once San Diego & Huguenot get delivered next week
The eagles on the reverses of the Illinois and Alabama commemoratives look identical.
I love the 50cent commentives
I have now made it in my coin collecting journey. I have made it onto a spegtacular video!!
You’re in it??
Yes sir, you are filming the back of my head the whole way down the escalator
im curious on going to one of these. seein i can find some odd silver and do these kinds of shows also have deals and such out or is it like visiting lcs and see what they have type thing?
Was good to meet you... Without meeting you 😂.
Super video. So upset I had to leave the day before it started. 😪 Maby I will make a show some time!
Looks like a nice haul brother
I should have gone myself, just went to the sarasota show and nice turn out, didn't have my must gets but who has tree shillings, 27 peace dollars is 65 and flowing hair dollar/half dollar, if they were that easy to get we'd all have them.lol...but that's where the fun of years of looking pay off.

Gorgeous Lafayette pick! I am collecting the classic silver Commemratives in a low mint state toned Variety.
Awesome! Far to go?
I was there for the ribbon cutting. What a great show. I Went two days. You could lose your mind in that place . 🤪 picked up some cool stuff
Me too :) maybe we were next to each other
Yeah. I think was . We were both filming Lincoln. 🎩
Like the half dollars, tend to get overlooked. Most of them are pretty affordable, and in high grades as well. Also I think early commerative gold is overlooked as well.
Lots of people !
the red toning on corner of the Hugenot is nice
Do you have the Spanish Trail commemorative yet?
Not yet. Gotta find Mrs. Right.
Will a grading company replace there grading packages if it becomes damaged?
I wish you luck, I’m sticking to bullion or constitutional at the moment.
You picked up some great coins. I’m going to plan on two days for summer FUN. I have a place to stay in Auburndale right off I-4 so the drive to the show is not quite as bad.
Very nice com half dollars
I thought you were gonna go in depth with Lincolns printer..... great stuff Speg!!!
Nah, lincoln seems like one of those guys you didn’t want to play games with
I've never been to a coin show but it's the same as collect-o-con pretty cool
About 10 years ago i bought Alot of 1892 and 1893 Columbian Half dollar mostly under 30.00 dollars all BU they were very cheap for being a 1890's coin have about 70 of them.
love your card on the cement block there, way to go 👏
Thank you! Did you pick it up? :)
Watching 👀
Love it
i've been interested in 3 or 4 commemoratives lately...namely Delaware, Norfolk, and Bay Bridge
