Possibly my favorite UNMESS ep so far, this was def a challenge for me but it was so fun to keep my renovation under $500! Make sure you guys like, subscribe and comment what you think, it means so much! xoxo
Omg yes he does his home first then we see him going to other people's homes looking at others mood boards gets a budget to work with and we see how he unmesses there nest omg pleaseeeee netfilx
My first thought was that he had put a chalkboard insert in - but the vinyl makes sense too. I had builders standard 1990s pukey beige melamine cabinets In my vintage 70s condo... I wasn’t so cautious tho - I removed the doors, sanded those puppies, primed them and sprayed them white myself.
I'm so freaking impressed with the way you can revitalize different style homes. The look at your new home is different than the last house but both fit the vibe of the home you were working. Watching this series for me has been like a masterclass in home reno/deco that I needed since we both bought houses at the same time!
You have a fantastic eye, Daniel. You can see how things will work before it's done, and that's a skill not everyone has. The kitchen came out gorgeous, and it's great that you keep it on a smaller budget so that it's achievable by many different people. I love this series!
This needs to be a Netflix series! I'm already obsessed with this series. I love the aesthetic and the kitchen is amazing! It looks great Daniel. Love you!
I’m an interior designer and I have to say I’m loving this series!! You have a great eye! I love the personality and charm you’re putting into these spaces.
I love that you stained the wood that dark walnut. I feel like I only see white, black and unstained wood nowadays on makeover channels. I love darker stained wood tones. So rich. So lux.
I have said this all along Daniel but you are absolutely the most talented person I know. The kitchen before and afters are incredible and you should feel very proud ♥ stunning!
I mean, you already know it turned out stunning! The matte black finish against the lighter cabinets looks really good. I actually love frosted glass so I thought it was beautiful before and closer to my preference, but you definitely did a few things that totally transformed the entire kitchen. You are a handyMAN! Great job, honestly it turned out so pretty! I love your DIY stuff because it shows you that a lot of this stuff is actually able to be done by the average homeowner. People can do so many little things in a home to make it pop, you don't need to spend a fortune and you don't need to hire someone to do most of it!
This series is literally everything- I have similar taste and this is giving me so much inspiration for my future house 🥺💕 Best series on RUclips, hands down.
I can’t believe your kitchen looks this good with a $500 budget! I love your videos so much and the glass on the cupboards that you wrapped in vinyl was my favourite bit.
OH MY GOSH DANIEL!!! It looks wonderful! I wasn't sure about the dark stain and the vinyl covering but it is really good. It's a great contrast with the white ceiling and lighter wood cabinets. Love this makeover. Also I noticed there is over 9k views right now and only 1.3k likes. C'mon everybody don't forget to hit the like button.
You have the gift of creativity x imagination x application. Love IT ALL but I'm drawn to the above window shelf and your sink/hardware. Love your work.
I’m also ready for a cooking series! (I know you’re super busy with your other series, but I’m just so enamored!!!) 🥰 This brings me so much happiness. Love the gardening and home makeover series! Your hard work and efforts are definitely seen and admired greatly! Thank you for sharing!
The kitchen looks amazing. Such a great job on a budget. Another option for the glass panels is spray paint or chalkboard paint over magnetic primer which allows you to use cute magnets to hold photos or lists. You can write out your meal plans for the week or create a shopping list as you use different items or ingredients. If the panels are removable you can take them out to paint them actually paint both sides because you can add a list of the items stored in the cabinet with a blank space next to each one so that when you reinstall them you then have a great tool on the inside that lets you keep track of when you use the different items and how many are needed to go on your shopping list. They now make chalk markers in many different colors and sizes of tips.If you create a permanent template in one of your apps on your phone you can easily fill in what you need. You can also make the template on your laptop and fill it in and then transfer or send a copy to your phone. That way you don’t need to worry about losing a list written on paper, it’s more eco-friendly. If you order your groceries online like we do this helps make the process much easier especially when you’re restocking the basic staples needed daily. Also think about storing dry ingredients or things like cereal, pasta, oatmeal, and other items in glass or food grade plastic containers with airtight lids. Depending on what you use and how you organize your kitchen they can really add to the overall look of the kitchen. This can also be done with the different herbs and spices you use. I found a really nice black metal spice rack(with 5 shelves)that can be put up with either screws or magnets and I added square glass jars with silver lids (they come in different colors to match the rest of your kitchen) I chose the square bottles because they matched the bottles that my favorite brand used and the great thing is that my grocery store carries refill packets for pretty much every spice and herb I use which cuts down on packaging and waste both in manufacturing and in what can and can’t be recycled or up cycled for other things. Mine came with labels that had the names printed on some of them and others were blank and could be written on using a chalk pen on the black label and different colors on the white labels. I put my baking powder and baking soda in different mason jars that come in different colors or clear glass. They look amazing on my open shelves and countertop where I keep the larger containers of the different types of flour, rice , and other ingredients I use daily. Because of my severe allergies I have gone back to how my mom and grandma cooked and prepared meals without using processed ingredients or mixes using only fresh raw ingredients free from additives and chemicals, no GMOS etc and it’s made a huge difference in how I feel and I have more energy and I can tell within minutes of eating something that I didn’t make because I start having stomach cramps and feel sick. Plus the food I make tastes much better. I have taught myself how to make bread, and homemade pasta. My family can’t stand store bought after tasting homemade. Thank goodness I love to make it.
I am in love with the kitchen! The matte black is so beautiful. I also never knew you could by vinyl that looks like wood grain. Can't wait to see what you do next!
Honestly didn't realize replacing outlets is that easy. Definitely have several I need to replace. Everything turned out amazing. Obsessed with the look.
Just a tip for butcher block, use a pre stain conditioner since it helps the stain go on. Also make sure to maintain with an oil or wax. I absolutely hate having butcher block for practical reasons, but like you, sometimes you inherit it and with the right care they do last decades. Gorgeous finished kitchen! What a great way to show how you can give a space a facelift for very little.
Great to see a more affordable kitchen makeover here, and one that looks so good at the same time. The best part of this, though, is seeing your enthusiasm and happiness with doing this. It really shines through and makes the series all the more special.
Everyone is saying how they would paint the cabinets, but Honey...they just have got to go altogether eventually. For the low budget you did a great job!!! It's such an upgrade already. The deep cabinets just make the kitchen seem much smaller and narrow than it actually is, they're weighing down heavy from the walls. I'd suggest open shelves instead, maybe use some of the ceiling storage space to store lesser used utensils. Honestly though, so many cabinets for such a small kitchen. What's IN them?
I was looking at all the plants in the background botanical goddess realness 🥰 loved the kitchen it’s so quaint and I get bistro vibes absolutely stunning.
Wow!! Love it. You pay so much attention to detail, I'm impressed that it only cost $500 it looks so classy and high end, yet comfy and actually useful. Just gorgeous!
I love the style of these videos, I could definitely see you hosting a TV series just like this! It makes me feel like I could do something with my house....I don’t know where to start there’s so much to do right now every room has issues, but you have made me feel it is possible. I love the 1949 detail on your shelf brackets, they were an absolutely perfect find!!
Ok ladies and gents, little game for you- take a drink (preferably your Bright Cellar wine after you use Daniel’s code 😉) every time Daniel refers to his kitchen as “not cute” in the beginning and then take a drink every time during the final reveal that you find something cute🍷 Sorry in advance because the end is gonna get you 😅😅
It’s amazing what a difference it does to the entire kitchen switching out the outlets best little thing you did to kitchen yes mamm gorgeous the wood counters are everything 😱 omg love love love so glad you changed the color
I made the same type of shelf in my kitchen above my sink! I have had it about 3 years and I love that space up there!! I hooked plants onto the actual ends of the iron piping so I have hanging plants on either side of the shelf "bracket"!! I love how you styled everything!
The kitchen looks amazing.. I love the stain against the white sink! The vinyl on the cabinets was a genius idea. I wouldn't have thought to switch out the outlets, but it looks fabulous! Amazing job 😊❤
Oh my gosh!! I love what you did with your kitchen! Thank you so much for the good ideals! I have been renovating my house so this video came out at the perfect time. Take care hun!
GENIUS MISTER PREDA! You’re wonderful, creative, and an inspiration to everyone. Especially with your real life posts regarding mental health. I truly look forward to your posts to brighten my day. Hugs, Kristen from Atlanta ❤️

Julie Mai Agreed! ❤️❤️❤️

Totally!
Omg yes he does his home first then we see him going to other people's homes looking at others mood boards gets a budget to work with and we see how he unmesses there nest omg pleaseeeee netfilx
Stop trying to sell these sweet creators to the devil
Would never even have thought about switching out the outlets. Such a great idea. You're a makeover genius. Can't wait for the next episode!
So easy and cheap!!
I can appreciate how he is realistic about how much things cost. If it’s expensive he says it and if it’s not he lets us know 💙
Really was shocked the cabinets turned out sooo good. I was like “how’s that going to work,” but you pulled it off. Good job! Subscribing for more!
Thank you!
I thought he was going to paint the cabinets but he didn’t
Agreed! I thought WTH but it looks awesome! Well done!

I'll try a sip of wine. And see how I do
And everytime he says just "pop" it out
You have a fantastic eye, Daniel. You can see how things will work before it's done, and that's a skill not everyone has. The kitchen came out gorgeous, and it's great that you keep it on a smaller budget so that it's achievable by many different people. I love this series!
The television NEEDS you! 🙏😊💕
Daniel is literally making my dream house right before my eyes
I was worried there with the mix of wood stains but you did great with tying it together.
She is a queen, she slay it and she is a builder ... you are so creative, I love you
White chalk paint would totally work for the cabinets if you're over the orangey color. Super easy to use and budget friendly!
Daniel is so talented! I would trust him 100% on planning my wedding.
Just wanted to say I’m loving and living for your content!! Hope you’re doing good & staying strong! 💁🏽♀️💕🙌🏽💞🙏🏽
This needs to be a Netflix series! I'm already obsessed with this series. I love the aesthetic and the kitchen is amazing! It looks great Daniel. Love you!
What a gorgeous transformation! I love watching someone do something they feel passionate about. I absolutely love your house’s cozy vibe.
AMAZING!!!!!YOU NEED YOUR OWN SHOW!!!!I love that you give renter friendly tips!!!!👍👍👍👍
Those vinyl films really elevated the look to another level
Love the contrast between the black accents, the dark countertop & the cabinets. Your kitchen makeover looks amazing!
Amazingly the darker stain does not make the kitchen look smaller. The counter tops look incredible now. Great Job on the whole kitchen.

I’m an interior designer and I have to say I’m loving this series!! You have a great eye! I love the personality and charm you’re putting into these spaces.

i seriously appreciate how real this is. its so doable for so many people and content is OFTEN not like that. so THANK YOU
I love that you stained the wood that dark walnut. I feel like I only see white, black and unstained wood nowadays on makeover channels. I love darker stained wood tones. So rich. So lux.

The black and natural wood is sooo elegant looking❤️
I have said this all along Daniel but you are absolutely the most talented person I know. The kitchen before and afters are incredible and you should feel very proud ♥ stunning!

Loving how you did this. Most youtuber kitchens and even homes are just sterile white and boring to me. This is so beautiful!!!
WOW!!!!🤩🤩🤩 awesome makeover! So beautiful!!
