When GPU prices started to fall, I took a deal on 6900XT Waterforce. Then started to think how I would get it to work the most easiest way.
I bought Alphacool 360 Eisbaer Aurora from Aquatuning's B-stock, removed the jet plate to maximise throughput. And was happy.
Later, I wanted to put CPU also to watercooling...
Well, I got the same Eisbaer, from same place and B-stock, but 480 size this time. I just bought an extension cable (or tubing, to be exact) set and that was it. Do that on any other AIO...
Anyway, I just bought Alphacool 200mm reservoir and Apex Vpp-combo, core 1 CPU block and core AM5 performance kit.
And replaced the cpu block/reservoir combo(s).
    Works a treat. Good stuff!

I run my 7800x3d with -30 curve optimizer on all cores, maybe I was lucky on silicon lottery, but I have not been able to get any errors, for example in OCCP's stress tests...
I mean, temps are just excellent. And so far, I'm really, really impressed with VPP Apex-pump...

I'm curious about your flow configuration - and why you have your gpu flow (hot) dumping directly into your cpu (also hot). Wouldn't it make more sense to have radiators between the hot components? For example:
    pump-discharge
    gpu
    radiator
    distro-plate
    cpu
    radiator
    distro-plate
    pump-discharge

    • @KitGuruTech
      @KitGuruTech  9 месяцев назад

This is just how the distro plate ports are laid out, they are labelled in the manual RAD, GPU, CPU RAD etc. For a gaming pc it makes sense to me to have the GPU first in the line anyway, you want your GPU to be cooler for maximum performance right?, plus the difference in water temperature between the GPU inlet and outlet will be minor.
Also CPUs just dont benefit as much from custom loop cooling these days, the CPU IHS is the limitation now.
