If you want 400 from a 2v just get a turbo kit, tubular k member, and coilovers and still be under 5k in all parts including fuel pump injectors ETC. just finished mine up. 9 lbs was 457/520 and 7 lbs which I run on the street is 401/459
@@BossTheoryy nope, it’s a unopened engine stock transmission with 180k. I’ve had the kit on for roughly 3 months and put 2500ish miles on it. Runs good on 7 lbs. gives you plenty of room to beat on it and keep it reliable.

@STARKILLER BEATS no sir, Brenspeed in Pierceton, IN ordered almost all of the parts and did the work. I provided the BBK longtube headers and catted X-pipe and they installed when the rest of the upgrades were done. The supercharger was a complete kit ordered from Vortech.
I’m shooting for 400whp N/A with the Mach. We’ll see if I can make it or not. Should be close with LT headers, 16400 comp cams, and a good tune. Glad to see your back, man!

The reason people choose a Whipple or Kenne Bell for a 4.6 2V is torque. The torque curve is flatter than Kansas, which my 4000# Panther needs if I'm going to get off the line with appreciably more alacrity than stock. The other choice is a T56 6-speed, which ADTR offers as a kit.
The people who like the noise are enthusiast. We like all the sounds including engine noise, intake, exhaust etc. So it's kinda weird to make a comment like that if you're into cars.🤷

Like your video I’m a very old guy just picked up a 99 GT with only 1268 miles on it plus it has a Vortech that when they bought car meaning company had Vortech already in place. Problem was not running very well they changed fuel pump Wisepro, fuel injectors, fuel rails, 77 air mass, spark plugs and finally tuned. Really enjoying the vehicle read many things about keeping motor together I feel 7 lbs boost will keep rods from bending and pistons from malfunction. Although I did read if true pistons and rods for 99 and00 were better because Ford change manufacturers.

My first v8 I love it, my previous car v6 honda coupe I loved it but, i'm very happy with my 4.6. she needs some TLC though. my suspension is on its way out & very creeky @ low speeds. I know i'll fall in love with her again once shes riding smooth again.
The 4.6 is a really good motor stupid reliable and can make decent power if you put the money to do it for me personally for the money it would take to supercharge the 46 then other stuff and make it reliable I think me personally I would just go with coyote swap foxcast media has done a video proving that you can do it for $5,000 if you cut corners or $8,000 to do like a really good insult

Man if you was to put a (Torque Storm ProCharger) on your Terminator mustang it would turn it straight up into a Beast. I'm not to sure but you may not be able to use full boost cause it may blow a Stock engine because a Torque Storm ProCharger makes a pretty good bit of Power.

I have a similar setup on my 2000 GT. I have an older 1.7L Kenne Bell. I'm at 380hp at the rear wheels running 8psi.

Where did you find your supercharger?
Did you run it low on oil? These 4.6’s sometimes eat oil. Gotta check them every 2 fill ups just to be safe. Hopefully your engine is okay man
Always checked the oil. Ngl if you look back when I first did the engine swap this motor had a tiny sound to it. I think it had issues from day one
