The donavon Mitchell’s and trae young designs are extremely similar , and both made from adidas. I would love to see a cut open or comparison between the two.
Since I have flat and wide feet as a basketball player a good amount of shoes I would want to try out are probably out of the question so Zachary making these videos helps a lot thanks
I have a request that I know would help everyone would be to post what's a baseline average, below, and above for your suicide times. I've watched a handful of your reviews and like your format. I just can't tell which timing is ideal for you.
First time watching your channel, great bball shoe reviewer who is based on movement. And as a shifty I was looking for an outdoor lightweight shoe. This will do.
Zoom Separate or Trae Young 1? I have tried both in my regular size and the Zoom Separates seem slightly tight in the toe box, but I am wondering if they’ll loosen up with some wear. On the other hand, the Trae Young’s are annoying to put on initially, but the toe box is perfect, but concerned will they get too loose with some wear. Thoughts? I like low tops, good cushioning, light weight with decent ventilation.
I got these back in November and have not worn them since December. These shoes simply do not get tight enough for me. I had to wear 2 pair of socks for my heel not to slip. I wear a 13 I probably should’ve got a 12 for this shoe.
ok. so these are on super sale. i have orthotics. my reg sneaker size is 11.5, and i have chronic plantar’s fasciitis. been flaring up lately. would you recommend sticking TTS with my orthotics? my foot is not incredibly long, as when i measured my foot in a DSG it was a perfect 10.5. Yet i always wear 11.5, and been wearing jordan11 lows foreverrrr and they’re just tearing me apart at this point 😭 At $80 shipped, I don’t think I’ll find a better option for my hybrid guard/forward play. Not much of a jumper, just a catch and shoot, gritty defender style player. Your feedback means a ton! Def subscribing, loved the in depth analysis! 🎉
These are so boxy I wouldn’t personally go up sizes on these with orthotics - in terms of specific size for you I have no idea you’d have to go on what you normally wear in adidas
What I do wish Adidas can change is the lightstrike bottoming out because I have two pairs on trae young 1 and the light strike bottoms out through a certain amount of time unlike the harden vol 7 which is has more light strike but is mainly boost. But I do love the shoes as a guard and someone who has a similar style of play as to trae
As a wide footer, these seemed a bit long at TTS in US sizing, but not wide enough to go down half a size. The upper is also quite stiff at the forefoot.
I wear these at work 12 hr days I climb ladders and tend to have to run/jog to different areas on sealed concreate. I slide these on no need to tie but once and they are the most comfortable shoes i have every put on my feet! My only complaints is the colors and sizes, colors the black/white remind my of black power rangers and all but the snake skin reminds me of children's shoes. I wear a size 16/17US depending i know basketball signature shoes are made for pro players with large feet. So please mass produce some sizes that are not the norm :)
Another awesome video man! I was wondering, does the upper break in at all? Cause I tried a 10 and length wise it was near perfect but it was squishing my toes a bit on the side. 10 1/2 felt better but there was a bit more length and my heel was slipping a little
@@GoogleUser-th2og i bought mine today, usually an 11, but went for 11.5......the 11s crunched my toe a tad, and i know if i do a forward hard stop, i will mess up my big toe, and thats a serious injury to have....i think even is they break in that wont increase the inner length, theyll become looser horizontally...I havent played in mine yet , will do so tomorrow, lets see if the 11.5s loosen up a lot
I cannot tell if mine are too small of a fit (if i should go up half a size) Should these fit as snug as they do? i have a slight bunion and therefore wide feet, but they feel strangler and pressure-full on the ball of foot. do I wear them in or go up a size..
i bought two of these and i really liked it. i just think they are very wide. i’m 13 and i’m still growing so i bought a size up and i needed to wait a few months for it to fit well in my foot. the next thing is that they get dirty very easily. and i recommend your to use it with a ankle brace. but overall these are great i really liked it.
Do you recommend the trae's if i use a orthotic? The fit would be greatly affected? Adidas soles usually require a break-in time because of a layer they usually have on them, at least the basketball sneakers
Any chance you're able to find some of the older adidas FYW/PureMotion shoes and let us know if those can actually work the way they market them to work?
@@FootDoctorZach cool cool would love to see how those compare more modern stuff and you opinion. Always wanted to see how big those zoom units in those are
I’ve never seen any good evidence oral collagen has done anything in the prevention or treatment of knee cartilage loss but there’s new stuff coming up every day
I’m stuck between going up 1/2 a size on the Trae Young 1’s, or should I just get Harden Vol 6, TTS? My foot is 4 1/2 inches wide on both feet, with no pain until after I play in my bunions & ball of my feet? Any suggestions or advice?
You mention getting rubber warmed up. I haven't heard this before, but are you saying that the outsole rubber will perform better if it's literally warmer? Thanks! PS as a dunker my Trae Young 1s make me feel pretty bouncy. 😍
Think of it like metal, though different material principles remain the same. When rubber is cold, it is like ice, non-plyable meaning, no grip on the court When you're doing constant friction on the court cutting, sliding, or cross over and hard take offs, you're forcing that rubber to flex on the court. Meaning there is now friction, meaning there is now also heat applied to the rubber making it more plyable = more flex = more grip.
@@FootDoctorZach That's interesting, I've never heard of that before! Is there a good way to warm them up or does it just best occur while playing and running around?
Hi Zach, do you have a recommendation for a padel shoe? Looking for my husband who just started playing padel indoors (I think it's on turf - the court is blue) and has had some issues with knee pain after wearing shoes with no support. I'm unsure how much padel shoes differ from tennis shoes. Thanks in advance!
@@FootDoctorZach thanks bro.. I might go get one and try it on tennis court. But there are only 3 eyelet. If used after 2 month , would the stability become unpredictable ?
Yo doc u have any recommendations for like bball shors that has a lot of court feel and responsive and still has a good cusion unlike the kyries. (I like the kyries but in long games it hurts ngl)
I personally LOVE the Harden 4s for this reason. Very flexible, good court feel, stable, and good cushion. It's definitely not like you're walking on clouds, but it gets the job done very well.
Almost all Adidas shoes make my arch sore to the point where they feel like they're on fire but even more so on light strike. Do you know why that could be?
I prefer the low top shoes with good court feel. I'm trying out the puma clyde all pro team now. Loving it so far, so would like to see more minimalist shoe reviews. This one might be good for outdoors, but I'm wondering if my feet are wide enough for the lacing setup Adidas chose. Might pick a pair up to see how they fit. Solid review again 👍
You say there are cons??? No you just described an outdoor basketball shoe for a wide foot person.. all the cons are for indoor because it's an outdoor basketball shoe, ..Adidas has over 748 patients in shoes you don't need to were the wrong size and put on two pair of socks, VERY VERY BAD ADVICE THEY SHOULD FIND A SHOE FOR NARROW FEET ...THIS IS ADIDAS NOT NIKE IT'S A SHOE THAT WORKS ,NOT JUST LOOKS GOOD....

Your videos are awesome. I’ve been watching basketball shoe review channels for almost 8 years now and I’ve never seen one like yours🔥
Very kind thank you 👍👍
Been waiting for this breakdown! This seems going to be a good shoe for playing badminton, as i need more lateral support and response.
Badminton is so hard to play. I did have fun. Good luck with your shoe search.
Yep for sure
Ahahaha you give me some inspiration there!
A lil bit bulky for badminton i would say

These sound like the best basketball shoes that can also be used for tennis for people with wide and flat feet while also being durable
