Few things are more satisfying on Age of Empires than to have farms with no holes on them. Also, we can have infinite perfect farm placement, which could be a painting on my wall.
Is there a more beautiful way to place farms?

You should always start placing farms on the right side!
You should start placing your farms from the right side
To achieve a slighty better food vathering rate, ALWAYS put your farms at the right side of your mill/tc as villagers only work at the top left 2x2 of the farm.

This is what I thought too. You won’t always place enough farms straight away to complete the pinwheel so favour the right side

This has been adjusted in the latest patch and now they only work in the center of the farm

You promised it last year on the konniks equal numbers video and again last week on the inca eagle warrior video...
Especially now with the new balance changes of june it'd be interesting to see if the 70g konnik wins or loses against the 80g boyar, considering the elite boyar has a whopping 8+3 melee armor. Plus there's the insanely close konnik/woad raider rematch I'd love to see. And several other matchups which promise to be great. :-)

I prefer anti-clockwise normally too - as the lower-left corner gets closer to the buildings (on average slightly more efficient), but clockwise if my berries are above my T.C. or that's where a mill will be. Feels nice to have them go to the T.C. when that mill is to the rightish of the T.C. instead and usually fits better as they're off-centre from the T.C.
now that I've seen this my elo will drop lower as I painstakingly place my farms in perfect arrangements.

I don't think the inner farms around the town center will get the reseed. Only the 8 farms surrounding the mill will. Does it though ?

This is only for the looks, it's innefective. See Spirit of the Law farming video to get an accurate analysis to actually be focused in getting food effectively
Yeah no. This is not perfectly because you have outlier farms that have villagers walking much further than they need to. A single farm is 60, a god damn mill is 100. Instead of placing 4 farms 5 tiles away from the mill, just add a mill...I mean, based on the endless wood one obviously has, is the objective efficiency or symmetry? (Can't be both based on these farms - these are pretty and 85% efficient...guess that's good enough)
