Can't imagine the times being too much different considering the lack of a geared transmission - flooring the pedal all the way should force maximum acceleration regardless for ecvt/cvts, no? (geared transmissions will just stick with lower gears as necessary; like kia dct hybrids).
It is a great car indeed. However it is not a HEV, but a PHEV. Easiest place to spot the difference is to look at the instrument cluster where you see the battery percentage gauge (being basically empty) in the lower right corner. The HEV model does not have it.
