Brady may have the rings, Manning may have the stats, but in terms of playing the position and simply throwing the football, there is no one like Aaron Rodgers. He has a golden arm
Which stats are you looking at? Because Rodgers leads all active qbs in just about every stat that doesn't involve longevity. www.footballdb.com/leaders/career-passing-tdpct
From a strict player perspective Rodgers is in his own hemisphere compared to the other QBs in NFL history. There's been no one else that can combine his accuracy, arm strength, mobility, vision, and general knowledge of the game.
Walks into a good team and only gets one ring... Joe Montana turned a franchise around from league embarrassment to dynasty killers. And one of the most dominant dynasties of all time. No one had as good of feet as Joe. Plus he played in an era where the crowd was louder and played when any hit was legal. And Joe never lost his cool. If there was never a Joe Montana there wouldn't be an Aaron Rodgers or a Tom Brady. More to being the goat than just having a pretty release.
Dohn Koeppel Right now their career is tracking the same. One ship each with a ton of stats and not as much playoff success as people are hoping for. People forget how mind blowing Brett's stats were for his era. Sure, he had a ton of turnovers too. On the other hand, Rodgers eats a ton of sacks hanging onto the ball and takes unnecessary hits. His turnovers are historically low, but he's been getting injured so damn much lately. Can't win ships if you're not available.
Robert Gibby You're forgetting who he had at WR. He had the fucking GOAT. JERRY RICE. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? Do you know how many records the man has? It's NOT because of Joe either. Look at his yards after the catch stats. You are full of shit. Rodgers gets it done with anyone and consistently carries his team into the playoffs. He can't play both sides of the field and this in part due to the organization being at fault. Not him. There are many factors so don't discredit AR12's talents
Thank you for a great video. I like my morning Rodgers highlights to be without music overlays and to be exciting and wake me up. Checked all the boxes.
I remember meeting Aaron Rodgers and a few other Packers at an autograph signing in my hometown, back in 2007. I distinctly remember him cracking jokes about the Packers wanting to trade him for Randy Moss. (This was when he was still Favre’s backup) Glad that didn’t go through! I doubt anybody in that room knew they were in the presence of total greatness that day! Not to mention, he’s probably the nicest NFL players to socialize with. AR12 will always be the GOAT.
If the Packers defense played a quarter as good as Rodgers does quarterback, they would've won #2. (And probably half a dozen superbowls.) Awesome video. =)
The eagles defense played poor in the SB and Nick files and our nasty offense out weighed our defense. We already proved that statement wrong in the SB no disrespect.
Eric Jakkola But the defense made a stop when they needed to. They forced Brady to fumble, if that’s the Packers, Rodgers defense would’ve given up a game winning drive like we have seen so many times in the past.
he's one of the most unique QBs I've ever seen. The ability to make a pinpoint throw on the money is scary. I've never seen anyone move in/out the pocket, while avoiding 240-320 lb Pro defenders and still make an accurate throw. His footwork and speed as a runner (Top 5 mobile qb maybe top 3 behind Cam and Russell), his backshoulder throws, his spacial arc on a Hail Mary and his ability to throw off the wrong foot! A-rod is the best player in the league
His sideline throws are the best of any QB ever! Beautiful! And his receivers always know to come back and to the sideline when he begins to scramble. And man I feel bad for Dallas and Chicago!
I hate Aaron Rodgers being a Vikes fan. But he is clearly the most talented QB I have ever seen. There is not a weakness to his game. I suppose if we had to say one weakness to his game perhaps it is holding the ball too long sometimes. But his Arm talent has to be the best if you make a grade based on (Arm Strength, Accuracy, and ability to throw with touch and bullet passes).
I was blessed to be able to watch him in college most every weekend being a Cal fan. We could all see he was something special back then. Even as good as Jared Goff was ...Aaron just played the position differently. He reminded me so much of Montana with Steve Young's mobility. Goff is more of the mold of Eli Manning.
I’m from Italy so obviously I don’t know much about the NFL but I know for a fact that aaron Rodgers is the best, he outplays drew brees and Tom Brady any day
First of all. Go Pack Go!! I've been watching Arod play since I was a little boy. Its an honor to be a packer fan. And thanks to Packers Production. Taking time out of his/her life to help us remember A-Rod's greatest moments. Best channel on RUclips
That move pissed me off. I got sick of hearing so-called "fans" saying Nelson had lost a step. He won the fucking Comeback Player Of The Year Award for crying out loud. The only reason his numbers were down last season was because of shit-ass Hundley and his inability to throw deep. Nelson was our deep threat and the Packers couldn't use it when Hundley was so inept at throwing deep.
+boomdogg38 I don't think it was that. There was a moment in a game against the Lions, I believe, where Nelson was wide open but Hundley didn't throw it to him. Can't blame Nelson for having to deal with an idiot for a QB.
That Jared Cook catch is one of the best plays in GB history, I thought the game was pretty much over at that point. The Jeff Janis and Richard Rodgers Hail Mary are both insane.
I'm from Vancouver, BC, Canada, and Rodgers is my guy. His clock management, his vision and general mobility, his field tactics... fuck. What a QB. He may not have the rings to prove it, but he's one of the all time greats. His successful hail mary's alone are off the charts. Grateful to have his jersey and call the Packers my team. ETA: Jordy Nelson has had a rough couple of seasons, but he and Rodgers have insane chemistry, and he is a WR no one should overlook. What a clutch player
Like go 1-37 when trailing by more than a point in the 4th quarter against teams that finish the season with a winning record. Not great. Rodgers averaged less than 21 ppg in those losses. You're either born with it or you're not. He is essentially a .500 QB on the road.
Michael Murphy I'm missing your point my comment is about how Brady wishes he could do the things Rodgers does... your stat doesn't mean much either way. Rodgers takes things to a new level despite his team's situation Brady would have 1 ring at best probably none if it were not for the organization around him. You'll see this year the personnel moves the packers made are going to bring out a whole new beast
Paul M - your post is entirely premised upon a fantastical hypothetical that can never be proven. I prefer to deal with facts and what has actually happened - you know, reality. Maybe you've never played competitive football in your life so I can forgive you for being so naive.
Michael Murphy lol... You still haven't presented me with any facts other than an obscure statistic that is influenced by his team as well. And idk why your attacking me that's kinda weird. Moving on... There are plenty of stats for Rodgers... QB rating and TD to INT ratio... the second stat no one even comes close...
Love that you put BOTH of those amazing passes in against AZ. As you noted, they lost because you never ever want to put the game in the defense's hands.
The epitome of Clutch - No time on the clock, your team is behind in score, you get an EXTREMELY RARE extra untimed play, and you win the game. That, and your many other "UNBELIEVABLE" and "STUNNING, JUST STUNNING" plays is what makes you a legend, a HOFer, a GOAT. Thank you 49ers for picking Alex Smith in the draft.
I'll never forget that final minute against the Cardinals in the playoffs, thought I was going to have a fucking heart attack. Shame they didn't get the ball in OT and get the win...

This didn't age well lol. Graham has been a net negative for the Packers. In fairness..Jordy lost a step. He wasn't the same..so the impact is probably close to the same. Aaron needs some WRs that can run.

They were terrible the entire 2nd half. Arizona struggled on offense in the first half because the Packers pass rush was getting pressure damn near every play. The 2nd half the Cardinals held constantly causing the pass rush to disappear, and the refs didn't call them for holding once; thus the Cardinals 2nd half explosion on offense.
I still don't understand why they let Jeff Janis go. Great athlete. They say he couldn't sync with Aaron, but the few times I saw him on the field he had some amazing catches.
