I think St Anger is a good album, I always have. This song is my fav from that album, but this makes it even better. Great job to those who have done it. I simply just LOVE it!!!!
The songs in their original form are amazing in my opinion. It just conveys the sheer amount of raw negative emotion they had pent up. And it all came out in this one album. Then you remix it some? It becomes even better.
@@tehufn They should have used the snare as a complement instead of a tone. Look at the song "bad seed". They used alternate snare sound when it fit into the song.
What I really like about these remixes is that it feels like Metallica, the little guitar licks, having the songs shorter and filling the spaces that made some of the songs seem unfinished. I did like the snare in this album and this remix has tone it down just a little, you have made this album what it should have been my good friend.
I've had a lot of problems with depression and anxiety... The Unnamed Feeling, at least to me, is about those issues. The song describes exactly what I felt. It's probably why it's the only song on St. Anger I really love.
oh no, cotallic's a good buddy of mine. just a joke for me to insult him whenever i see him in a comment section considering he's literally everywhere i am.
I love this album. Yeah, the production isn't great, and the drums are awful but the songs themselves are solid as fuck. Very dark, very probing, and very much a bad day album. I feel like it was them getting their issues out.
I don't know about anyone else, but I would like to see Metallica rerecord some of the tracks off of St. Anger like this, adding solos and better mastering. Unnamed Feeling and Sweet Amber are two of my favorites.
I like this version alot but I love the original more especially the chorus it felt more mellow. the remix made it for more melodic which is good its not bad. I just like the mellow feeling with the song its more fitting I guess for me, but props to you
This is so much better with the orchestra. Wow, a masterpiece of a remaster. You couldn't really remaster the album any better without the actual band.
i love the sound of the strings but it juat takes the struggling, wounded vibe from the song. it doesnt seen like james is sitting down talking to you about a problem anymore
the original album, i liked. i like these remixes a little more, but only because they purify his voice and bring out some awesome tones that i otherwise can't hear very well. awesome job on the sound editing, bro. the parts you added in kick ass
Some Kind of Monster was remastered on here, but it's gone. Not sure why though. If it was the copyright crap going around then all the videos would be gone.
I think the reason a lot of people hate this album is because the production is so shitty they just assume the songs are bad. But they're actually good songs; not Metallica's best, but very good.
True but I don't blame Bob Rock in the least. Instead of focusing on the recording, he had other things to worry about.. such as making sure the band didn't fall to pieces every 5 minutes, and writing some of the baselines till Rob joined. He was doing far more than he should've been. I give him credit for doing his best when things really weren't going his way.
I think it may have been a good idea to remaster it... but not like this. The original version of this song is a favorite of mine. And I believe it has potential to be remastered very well. I don't think this remastered version did justice to the song though. I think if Metallica did it, it'd definitely be a long better because it's their work. But kudos to whoever did it for trying. Coming from a composer, arranging music is not easy work.
I REALLY don't understand why everyone keeps on complaining about the Fuc*ing snare! Okey so it is a bit much, but Lars used the same snare effect in "I disappear" and as far as i remember, no one complained then! St.Anger was a descent album but atrayuMasterHero here has made it really good! Kudos to him, not to all of you St.Anger hating people! Keep on Living Fuckers! :D
is it just me or do the vocals sound better in the remixs and remastered youtube vids, like some of them the vocals sound like they have been tweaked and tuned or something.
@kmobass Download a program called Realplayer, you can rip these straight off youtube and convert it to anything you want. I love the program and I'm actually ripping it as I type this.
If people want to download this...google youtube to mp3 converter, then copy and paste the url of this vid. U will then be able to download to ur computer.
Been here before couldn't say I liked it Do I start writing all this down ? Just let me plug you into my world Can't you help me be uncrazy? Then the unnamed feeling It comes alive Then the unnamed feeling Take me away
Dude, lyrically this song is the most relateable song I've ever heard in my life!
this was already my favorite song on that album. this version is just amazing. love the strings and harmonies. whoever did it, did a great job.
Best song from St. Anger, definitely...
An argument can be made for Sweet Amber
Every ssong is amazing
@@nathangaspar4989Some Kind Of Monster and Frantic have valid reasons too.
The best for sure
this remix gives me chills. that's how you know you've come across a kick ass metal song. thanks for putting up these mixes, they're awesome.
Wow didn't realize how great this album could had been till now. Metallica should have this album remixed then put back out.
I think St Anger is a good album, I always have. This song is my fav from that album, but this makes it even better.
Great job to those who have done it. I simply just LOVE it!!!!
Mercy, this piece is as powerful as Sweet Amber. Those mournful guitars add a whole new dimension to St. Anger.
a few strings in the chorus can mak that a big difference, who would've thought. :D
This is a lot better than I was expecting, good job whoever made this :)
I'm in love with the solo, whoever played it knows how to add spirit to music
The songs in their original form are amazing in my opinion. It just conveys the sheer amount of raw negative emotion they had pent up. And it all came out in this one album. Then you remix it some? It becomes even better.
This album definitely has potential. In my opinion it's actually really great. They should just add some solos and fix the snare
The snare is part of the magic lol
@@tehufn They should have used the snare as a complement instead of a tone. Look at the song "bad seed". They used alternate snare sound when it fit into the song.
You sir, took my favorite song off of St. Anger, and made it awesome! Thank you so much.
That orchestra was so cool! Really made the song more melodic
What I really like about these remixes is that it feels like Metallica, the little guitar licks, having the songs shorter and filling the spaces that made some of the songs seem unfinished. I did like the snare in this album and this remix has tone it down just a little, you have made this album what it should have been my good friend.
Thanks to this remix, I forget exactly how the original sounded. And thanks to the harmonies and synth during the chorus, I can never go back.
That lead/solo thing fits just perfectly
I've had a lot of problems with depression and anxiety... The Unnamed Feeling, at least to me, is about those issues. The song describes exactly what I felt. It's probably why it's the only song on St. Anger I really love.
This is actually beautiful song once you get past the production.

Who pissed in your cornflakes this morning?
oh no, cotallic's a good buddy of mine. just a joke for me to insult him whenever i see him in a comment section considering he's literally everywhere i am.
Oh, alright. Sorry.

Shut the hush up you furry hippo
As a Metallica fan since the 80s, in find incredible that this song, considered one of the NEW ONES, is 20 years old.
I love this album. Yeah, the production isn't great, and the drums are awful but the songs themselves are solid as fuck. Very dark, very probing, and very much a bad day album. I feel like it was them getting their issues out.
CthulhuDarkLord the album was based on the issues they had and we're facing this was like a coping album to get their anger and emotions out
bad day album... sums it up nicely, like that
That was the purpose of the album, it was very important even though it wasn’t very good
But Lulu is the worst thing to ever exist
Wow.. so much more epic with the orchestral parts and the extra guitar parts were perfectly placed.
This song is a masterpiece, and you made that more than perfect. Amazing, real amazing work.
I don't know about anyone else, but I would like to see Metallica rerecord some of the tracks off of St. Anger like this, adding solos and better mastering.
Unnamed Feeling and Sweet Amber are two of my favorites.
I heard this years ago, and forgot all about it. This is beautiful.
You couldn't really remaster the album any better without the actual band.
these remixes sound freaking amazing with HD headphones :)
i love the sound of the strings but it juat takes the struggling, wounded vibe from the song. it doesnt seen like james is sitting down talking to you about a problem anymore
Slipknot+System of a Down=This badass song!
this is so good...
the original album, i liked. i like these remixes a little more, but only because they purify his voice and bring out some awesome tones that i otherwise can't hear very well. awesome job on the sound editing, bro. the parts you added in kick ass
OMG WTF violin gives me that S&M feeling... Awesome!!
The way this was rmixed is fucking epic. I mean, the chorus sounds darker, the vocals almost sound more emotional, it's so much better.
The violin gave me chills i love it
In 2020...this is still the definitive version of this song. Would have loved to heard an s&m version.
This remix is great, I love how you didn't overkill the solo and the ending was awesome =D
Love this man. Just got into the album again this week. Great album, but these have shown what could be done with it. Why only 7 songs though?????
i think it makes it a bit better and matches the feeling almost perfectly
me encanta, el album st anger es de mis favoritos y esta canción me gusta mucho, y creo que esta version esta muy bien
God this was my favorite St. Anger song, and, this really hit it!! Awsome!!
That was Fucking Excellent! Finally a remaster that is actually significantly different. Well done.
Amazing work
Some Kind of Monster was remastered on here, but it's gone. Not sure why though. If it was the copyright crap going around then all the videos would be gone.
so nice
Damn, I loved this song before, but after hearing this version.....
I think the reason a lot of people hate this album is because the production is so shitty they just assume the songs are bad. But they're actually good songs; not Metallica's best, but very good.
i just wrote a college level paper comparing my struggle with anxiety with this song. i get ya. it sucks.
Wow. It is amazingly epic this way, really like it
This song is intense, dude
We need an hd version
Hell no your not insane I friggin love st.anger myself...everything metallica has written is 110% pure metal :P
I LOVE THIS SONG ITS SO DEEP
this is still class
i love these songs of keyboards... can u feel it?! oh my God!
that solo was a perfect fit
True but I don't blame Bob Rock in the least. that riff at 4:18 is soo heavy. and i really like the cool harmonic guitar part into the solo
We have all experienced the unnamed feeling

@LiBeRtAs300 actually just kirk was pissed off(maybe james too). it was lars and bobs idea to not do any solos
this speaks to my soul and some of the terrible feelings within it.
I think it may have been a good idea to remaster it... but not like this. The original version of this song is a favorite of mine. And I believe it has potential to be remastered very well. I don't think this remastered version did justice to the song though. I think if Metallica did it, it'd definitely be a long better because it's their work. But kudos to whoever did it for trying. this song describes exactly how I feel most of the time
I love this song and the whole album, true snare isin´t good but i listen to the DVD mostly....and yes they should´ve put in some solo on it.....
@leftysmith83 Bob is usually pretty good, but he kinda had his hands full for this particular album.
Is there any place I can get this?
is it just me or do the vocals sound better in the remixs and remastered youtube vids, like some of them the vocals sound like they have been tweaked and tuned or something.
