I'm trying to buy my first car. Would you recommend 2004 Maxima 3.5SE or the 2005 Altima SE-R?
I have a Nissan maxima 2002 and has a 96 but my sister has the regular use 3.5 altima 2005 she loves it but the maxima is a little heavier. But they are nice cars. Will run till 250k miles easy.
depends what you like diving, the ser is just a little more powerful than the stock one and it looks better. but they have the same problems as the stock ones
I had a 20o4 Maxima SE from new for 9 years and Id say stay away, too many problems esp with the ABS that costs thousands to fix and is an issue with all 2004's

It's an eye turner whom know about cars. Even people who do not really know about them. Its performance is great. Handling is awesome. Overall, if it is well taken care of, at least to say, it'll be worth it. Reliable but the axles, air conditioning (low pressure hose), and I guess motor mounts if you like legit step on it every moment lol
