I've driven some performance cars and honestly the altima se-r is the best daily you can get. It has so much room, comfortable and is actually nice to hear growl once in a while. I have a 2018 focus st and wanting to get back into one. Loved taking those on road trips.
I am not endorsing any one specific product as I have not tried all the oil additives on the market. I also have no sponsorships for any given products and that is why I blurred the labels out in the video. All that being said, I use Prolong.
The ones I installed on my car are the BC Racing Coilovers. Many people will tell you that if you don't have the $5000 electromagnetic setup then you shouldn't be buying coilovers. My advice is to look at why you want out of the components. If you are going to be entering your car into the 24hr of Le Man, then you will probably want to splurge and get the top of the line, fully adjustable coilover setup. But if you are an average guy like me and you just want to enhance the look of your vehicle and give it a little more stability for when you take it to an open track day, then a cheaper setup will be just fine. You do what you feel is best for you and what your pocket book can stand. 👍😀
I have an SE 03 street tuned put out 290hp but ive been on oem suspension im gonna slap in some coil overs not sure how its gonna go but looking foward to it... Can you make an update on how the car is handling?
Thank for the comment. An upgraded suspension to help you put that power to the road will make a big difference. I am not sure how I would make a comparison video on stock versus upgraded suspension only because I never took video of the before ride and handling. I can tell you that with coilovers you get to determine what the handling and ride feel like as you can adjust all attributes of the suspension to what is best for you. I have mine set a little stiffer which isn't very pleasant on non-kept roads, but is way more encouraging on well maintained blacktop.
Hi! Thanks for watching our videos and thanks for your comment. I don’t have a specific link for the coil overs. This build was not sponsored and I don’t want to market a product I purchased for my own specific desires. There are multiple coil over manufacturers which make products for the 3rd Gen Nissan Altima. I would suggest doing some research and deciding what products meet the criteria of functionality for your build. Thanks again for checking out our videos, and feel free to leave any future comments and we will do our best to help you out.
I have a very vague memory from long ago of a friend showing me a website that had a Maxima SE-R that was sold in markets outside of the US. I tried searching for it but couldn’t find anything. If memory serves me right it was the A32 chassis code Maxima that was given the SE-R treatment. I want to say it was a sales ad of some type, not just a forum post. But not being able to dig up any sources I can’t prove it is was real or not. There was a Maxima Spec-R sold in other markets outside of the US. Not quite the same as an SE-R but still an R badge for the Maxima.

Couldn't agree more!
Again - love the music! It’s killing me. Also - I died when he said biceps, triceps, and forearms!
I am glad that you are enjoying the videos. Thanks for watching.
any updates on this project? I'm currently reviving a salvage altima SER
Your should connect to chassis at the top, then jack up to install shear bolt at the knuckle
What oil additive did you add when you replaced your engine oil? Please and thank you. I’m hearing a slight timing chain and I want to preserve it

@@skidmarks What a waste of a video. 😂
Gorgeous car
Thank you. I am very fond of it myself. 🙂
@@skidmarks I had an 05...still to this day it was my favorite vehicle I've owned.
Sweet.
Wish they had a Maxima SE-R

Dad had one of those, apparently it was the shit. (Good shit)

How many miles does she have? Liking the videos so far
For the model year (2005), she has relatively low miles. She has 160,000ish original miles on the clock. Still plenty of life left in this beauty.
@@skidmarks mine has 135,000! Silver Metallic.
