YES!! I've requested this many times, and I knew your minds would absolutely be blown! Great reaction you guys! You nailed it. Jeff was a legend.
A little background on him; Jeff lost his eyesight at the age of 1 to retinal cancer. At age 3, he started to learn guitar. He learned to hold it in the traditional way but, later preferred to have it on his lap. He is from Canada, and had several hits here in the US. Most notably a ballad called "Angel Eyes". He also co-starred in a movie with Patrick Swayze called "Roadhouse". Sadly in 2008, Jeff lost a battle to cancer when he was once again stricken. In my opinion, he is one of the greatest guitarist ever but, is sadly overlooked. Next to the likes of Eddie Van Halen, Stevie Ray etc. Rip Jeff Healy. 😢🎸

He was one of a kind and truly inspirational - I've never heard of anyone who knew him personally say a single bad thing about him, and he was a huge fan of jazz and operated a jazz radio station in Canada for many years. He is well worth diving WAY into the rabbit hole for... even his unreleased music is better than 95% of everyone else's A-game.

What truly amazes me is, he is the only guitarist that doesn't us a guitar strap. The strap suspends the guitar allowing the guitarist to use both hands freely. How Jeff stands up and plays blows my mind.

I saw Jeff open for ZZTop in San Francisco some years ago and yes he was the real deal. He stood for most of his set and the bass player would shadow him around the stage and nug him away from the edge of the stage & back to his mic Very cool. Thanks guys.

i was so lucky to see him play live in concert in Belgium , near my home town of Antwerp, and it was absolutely fabulous! One of the best guitar players ever to walk this planet! So sad he has passed away because of his disease, but man what a guy, so talented and even funny with a sense of humour, i remember during the concert somebody in the crowd shouting the name of Ritchy Blackmore, and he reacted: Ritchy Blackmore? I am not Ritchy Blackmore, are you blind? lol so funney

He turned yet another corner in the short time before he passed, and showed us he played trumpet amazingly as well. Even arranging a lot of the big band style scores himself.

Jeff is truly amazing did so much in so little time was awesome in the movie roadhouse. The song from that movie “when the night comes falling” to his ballads like angel eyes and I tried. You won’t be disappointed in those at all. And yes his performance with Stevie ray vaughn is crazy

As partially blind myself, a guitarist too, as a teenager Jeff and Ray Charles were my heroes and living proof sense and feeling are much more stronger than sight. Hearing of course helps too! In life and posthumously Jeff is a legend!!

Now you guys should do the live version of "Look At Little Sister" that's a duet between Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jeff Healey. I love that one because it shows both of them clearly enjoying the hell out of playing with another monster guitarist.

He does a great cover of a John Hiatt song called "Angel Eyes". It's a slower song but it's awesome.

I remember, as a kid, the dude who tuned my piano was blind. He would walk to our house by himself. He would take as many clues that he could to get around. He would count the cracks in the sidewalks to know when he reached our house!!! The first time I saw Jeff was at an open mic at some dive on Yonge St in Toronto. I went there to support some friends who had formed a band. We were all awe struck at Jeff. There were no more than 20-30 people there.

This is my favorite reaction of yours and I love watching your reactions 😊 the look on your faces 😂priceless. I love this song but my favorite is Angel Eyes. Sadly he is no longer with us. I see in the comments that someone has filled you in. Really great reaction.

@@barsandbarbells2022 The greats are never forgotten. We have lost many musicians that Generation X had growing up. The one that really hits me hard is Tom Petty. I was such a big fan yet never had the chance to see him live. His last show was at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. He died about a week after that show.

Had the privilege of seeing Jeff, at the studio, in Bristol, in 1989, or 1990. He blew the doors, ceiling, and walls out!
A deathbed memory, for sure. Rest easy Jeff.
