Without the law there would be no sin. Simple. Hence there could be no abrogation of the law, because sin still exists.

Bit of context for our sevies....I am dead to the law. The strength of sin dealt with by the atoning sacrifice of Christ is now removed.
My righteousness is now apart from law where it was at one time past part of law.

To be free from sin you need to be DEAD to law…. not follow laws!
Rom 6:7
For he that is dead is freed from sin.
To be free from sin remove yourself from under the law….
Rom 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
You can be righteous now with a present salvation, all without law keeping!
Rom 3:21
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested.

The reason why the law is the strength of sin is because the law GIVES THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN.

THE STRENGTH OF SIN IS THE LAW, WHAT LAW? REMEMBER THIS BROTHERS, THAT THERE ARE TWO LAWS REPEATED IN BOTH ROMANS 7 AND ROMANS 8.
THE LAW OF GOD, WHICH IS HOLY, JUST, GOOD AND SPIRITUAL (A TRANSCRIPT OF THE CHARACTER OF GOD)
THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH (AND DEATH), WHICH IS IN OUR MEMBERS, WHICH IS THE LAW OF THE FLESH OR THE CARNAL NATURE.

IN THE CONCLUSION OF CHAPTER 7, PAUL DECLARES HE DELIGHTS IN THE LAW OF GOD (THE TEN COMMANDMENTS), AFTER THE INWARD MAN (THE SPIRIT OF MESSIAH JESUS IN US).
THEN PAUL SAYS HE SEES ANOTHER LAW IN HIS MEMBERS (THE FLESHLY BODY).
DEAR BROTHERS IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THE STRENGTH OF SIN THEN IS NOT THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, BUT THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH, IN THE FLESHLY BODY. PAUL DECLARED, 'WHO SHALL DELIEVER ME FROM THE BODY OF THIS DEATH", CORRECT? HE ALSO DECLARES WE ARE MADE FREE FROM THE LAW, WHICH OTHERS OUTSIDE ADVENTISM THINK IS ALSO THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, BUT IT CANNOT BE.
THEN HE CONCLUDES SO THEN WITH THE MIND (AND HEART) I SERVE THE LAW OF GOD, BUT WITH THE FLESH, THE LAW OF SIN.
ROMANS 6 SHOWS FORTH THE OLD MAN OF SIN BEING RECKONED DEATH WITH MESSIAH JESUS.
ROMANS 8 DECLARES THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION TO THEM WHO ARE IN CHRIST, WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH, BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT.
I HAVE WANTED TO SHARE THIS FOR SO LONG, TO SHOW FORTH THE SCRIPTURE OF TRUTH, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN THE FLESH AND SPIRIT AND THE TWO LAWS.
