Thank you so much for your excellent easy-to-follow tutorials. They are a great resource for those of us learning to use the GR 55, which as I'm sure all GR 55 owners will agree is a overwhelming task when you first start using the unit. You do a awesome job of explaining the features which has helped me day by day to understand the seemingly endless options on the GR 55. Keep 'em coming!

Hi Kennis, Could these videos be improved? no, I honestly think that they're the best I've seen because they tell me exactly how it works, how it sounds. Roland's own videos with some guy shredding tell me nothing, their edit videos were poor too. Your videos show & tell me everything and I'll be getting one at some point in the future, because of watching your videos and also thanks to you... I'll know how to use it right away. Keep doing what you're doing you got it right first time!

These videos are excellent.. I just got my GR55 and was feeling I might return it. Your videos break it down beautifully and I will give it more time to explore. Roland should give you a commission seriously.

If you can help me a little bit more, CTL/Tap Tempo is not working for Tremolo/Delay. I did exact what you did, step by step, but not working here. Any idea/tip to fix that?

Hi ! in 1:28 - when I press the exit button it still change the preset as if I press the enter key. Why is that ?
Sometimes I enter this screen, try different sounds but eventually don't want to change the original sound, but I can't cancel.
Is there a cancel operation inside this screen ?
U have great tutorials man !

Great tutorial all in all and I have subscribed to your site. You should invest in a headset microphone. At times 2:26 through 5:08, you can barely be heard. I love my GR 55! IN comparison to my GR 20, its like playing with toy cars to driving real ones.

When you turn on the model and play, the songs go out, but here with my guitar and gr-55 I can't hear or the Model does not sound, it's muted or something I don't know. Is there a problem with my guitar or the gr-55 ??

@kennisrussell Yeah look up vguitar forums and go to the gr-55 area and they have a patch area in the forum.. You gotta become a member but its useful. The gr-55 patches are still real meager online and it seems your getting some good sounds and are editing them well. i'm sure people would be blessed by some of your patches. Thanks for the vids anyways real helpful.

This really opened up the gr-55 for me - thanks! But one thing I don't understand is the expression pedal setting at 9:58 - when I go into Master > Pedal GK CTL > EXP, I only have ***system*** and I can't change the settings at all... when I open the system tab > Pedal GK CTL > EXP, I can change the settings but it doesn't seem to act as I want it to: when I turn off the pedal, it turns off everything including the modeling tone? What am I doing wrong?

You DON'T go to a matchless drive amp with a lot of gain using a rickenbacker with the combi: front and rear pickup's. Then you don't know how to make a sound with only a guitar and an amp...
