This was one heartbreaking yet heartwarming scene. When one mother is not a mother at all and other sacrificing for her kids over and over again. For a comedy that was a nice touch...
Wow there r simply no words to describe how amazing Bonnie was for finally standing up to her mother like that. She was unbelievable and absolutely incredible... Way To Go Bonnie.
Rewatching the series. Bonnie is many things. Irresponsible, forgetful, she doesn't understand boundaries, not the sharpest tool in the shed...but she stuck around. She loves her kids, and her grandchildren. This scene changes the entire view of the character.
This scene was incredibly powerful! I'd always loved Bonnie but this scene forever changed her in my eyes. Melissa is an fantastic actress and she executed this to perfection!
Wow !? Bonnie finally realized that she was not a young child anymore so she could stand up to her mom , who had no power over her anymore. I'm proud of you Bonnie!!!
this was the most wonderful, emotional scenes ever!!! I love this so much. this explains why Bonnie is who she is. It really explains why she cares so much for her kids and Emma. What an amazing actress, Melissa Peterman.❤❤❤
Umm...where was Bonnie's award for this?!? My heart broke into pieces when she said that. Truly outstanding and emotionally sculpted. Incredible scene.
A believable family history and relationships on a family show. Best moment in Melissa Peterman's acting career, thank you. It made me cry because it was truly believable.
Comedy on this show is always so good and timed out perfectly. Honestly, I never thought I'd find a show I find so witty and smart in its humor. And then there are scenes like this one. It's one of the most empowering scenes ever, it was so good, and so surprising given the tone of the show. Ugh I can't wait for Baby Daddy to come baaaack!
Her coming back saying "I dIDn'T kNOw HoW To rAIse a ChiLD" infuriated me. Neither did Bonnie. The difference is Bonnie actually LOVES her children while I'm not sure she is capable of love.
I don’t think there is any other actress that can play the Bonnie character as awesome as Mellisa did. Bonnie is so hilarious, also shameless, overly confident but also a loving mother who’s alway be there for their sons. Bonnie is not just a mother she’s a also her son’s bestfriend.
This was a great scene, especially since the show hardly ever had extensive serious moments like this. We got to see a new side of Bonnie and it was great to see the boys comforting her and appreciating her and vice versa.
As a brother who had to raise his younger siblings. this hits close close to home. i had to raise them while my biological mother went to drink. it’s rather sad that my siblings see me as their fatherly figure when i don’t know anything at all in the real world. because honestly.. me and my siblings were birthed from her. This is my family. i tried my best. I sacrificed so much just so my younger siblings can prosper and I never been so proud of their achievements. So when she said “you don’t get to have this family, it is MINE.” I felt it. This is MY family.
@Dragoslav De La Vega oh reallyyy? i though this clip was about a beautiful happy mother daughter relationship 😃 never would’ve guessed if you hadn’t said it.
2:22 - 4:04 definition of acting right here. I miss this show. It was such fun to watch! And the fact that her own mother would say that about her, her son and talk trash about Emma at 3:30 - 3:48 makes me want to slap that evil woman across the face for that if she was real. Bonnie is many things however she is a far better mother to her children and grandmother to her granddaughter than her own mother could ever be. 5:29 - 5:40 Thanks for uploading.
Don’t you just love how she said she was gonna be the perfect grandmother to Emma and then she literally gets a phone call and ditches them and then you never see her again
"You don't get to have this family, they're mine" PSA; She's talking about Tucker and Riley as well as Ben, Danny and Emma. Because they all come as a package
Bonnie may not be good at a lot of things but she’s a GREAT mother. She supported her son when he did hockey. She supported her sons first child and was there when Ben was scared to be a father♥️
Loved this scene! I love Melissa Peterman, and for her to do this scene the way she did this scene, makes me love her more! She really outdid herself here!!!!
my heart 💔💔💔... Bonnie deserves so much better... Melissa's acting here is EPIC, and I could literally FEEL what she left, just by her acting. jesus. give this woman a fucking MEDAL, or i will
What a brilliantly written speech, the way it was constructed, was phenomenal paired with Melissa's talent it really went well. The way it started when she was 17 and stupid, she still needed her mom she was just a pregnant child, but then she thought maybe if she came to the wedding it would be fine, no, then ben comes along and thinking "maybe shell be here for this one" no, and then years past and she finally agrees to meet Danny, then maybe she thinks years are gone by maybe her mother has changed maybe its not as bad as she remembers shell give her mom one last chance to start over with Emma and then that letter came in, this is not an argument that happened over night this was not some family squabble that can be fixed over time year after year of trying to fix whatever relationship could happen with her mother and she got hit after hit. This is a tough scene to truly pinpoint every emotion Bonnie couldve been feeling but Melissa found a way to truly grab it all the betrayed and scolding she started with, followed by the weakness, pain, vulnerability, just to finish with strength and the power to tell that bitch off. Great acting great writing from a mainly mediocre show i just wasnt expecting it
Rewatching this after watching Reba, I can tell they gave Bonnie a twist on Cheyenne's teen pregnancy. Where she's the one that went to live with her husband's family & disowned by her own.
I am a firm believer that music is incredibly important for setting the tone of a scene. But there is also something to be said about not having any music at all. The silence in the background of this scene helps say more about how Bonnie feels than any piece of music ever could.
Come to think of it, Bonnie’s mom was pretty shameless to hug and act as a nice grandma to her grandchildren and great-grandchild after talking s*** in their backs and saying their births were embarrassments
So excited baby daddy it is so funny i love all the people that play in the show baby hope to meet all the people from baby daddy get they photos with they names i lvu baby daddy hope to see u soon
This was one heartbreaking yet heartwarming scene. When one mother is not a mother at all and other sacrificing for her kids over and over again. For a comedy that was a nice touch...
Kat Perse you should watch fiona' s speech in Shameless
Hannah Cameron Fiona speech in shameless was breathtaking hits you right in the feels
Which part? Can u tell me
Wow there r simply no words to describe how amazing Bonnie was for finally standing up to her mother like that. She was unbelievable and absolutely incredible... Way To Go Bonnie.
I've never felt more empowered by a woman.
Susie Brady your so right preach for her...
Bonnie is my favourite! 😊
Rewatching the series. Bonnie is many things. Irresponsible, forgetful, she doesn't understand boundaries, not the sharpest tool in the shed...but she stuck around. She loves her kids, and her grandchildren. This scene changes the entire view of the character.
Figs3 other side of Bonnie. She's a fighter !
Figs3 despite her flaws, she’s pure love. When she broke the locked door off in order to save Emma when she was injured summed her up to a tea.
Bonnie is pretty cool she's there for her kids and grandkid. Can't say that for Bonnie's mother who is selfish and immature
She’s even like a mother to Riley and tucker, she always looks after them and she treats them as her own
Exactly! She's not perfect. But she never turned her back on her kids.
Am I the only one that loves when comedy shows like this get deep, serious, and emotional?
Oh hmm
melissa deserves all the awards for this scene!!!!
MsCedy97 agreed
You are right
you are right
You are right
Period
This scene was incredibly powerful! I'd always loved Bonnie but this scene forever changed her in my eyes. Melissa is an fantastic actress and she executed this to perfection!
This scene was incredibly beautiful, Melissa Peterman is a VERY talented actress.
I have no idea how she could do that without crying, I cried the first seven times I watched it.... I can't imagine shouting all that and not cracking
this is one of the very best episodes of baby daddy ever
@@tuononnovainbici I was crying too
I can't express how much I love this scene
Alana Brown I can, heart touching moment when Bonnie confronts her mother about how much she doesn't like her
@@e.gkitty344who else agrees his mama s character was prestiged
Wow !? Bonnie finally realized that she was not a young child anymore so she could stand up to her mom , who had no power over her anymore. I'm proud of you Bonnie!!!
Victoria Terzyiska way to go Bonnie 😎👍
this was the most wonderful, emotional scenes ever!!!
Ppl see Bonnie as a irresponsible mother but really she has always supported Danny and Ben no matter what despite have a horrible example of a mother.
I remember seeing this and started bawling. this is so relatable to people . Melissa Peterman is a great actress
I cried when watching this scene to
Omg same
she is such an incredible actress I felt everything that her character was feeling and I haven't even been through that at all that's how good she is
Caitlin Kershaw I agree! I felt everything she was saying, yet never experienced this. She was outstanding in this scene!!
"Can we take a five? I'm gonna call my mother"
I thoughts exactly
Bonnie crying is literally heartbreaking to watch, this scene just proves how much of an amazing mother she is.
A believable family history and relationships on a family show. Best moment in Melissa Peterman's acting career, thank you. It made me cry because it was truly believable.
I just saw a new side of Bonnie Wheeler; a tragic yet loving side.
Best scene from Baby Daddy. So Powerful.
Comedy on this show is always so good and timed out perfectly. Honestly, I never thought I'd find a show I find so witty and smart in its humor. And then there are scenes like this one. this got like super intense for a show that's really lighthearted. GO BONNIE!
Can we all take a second to just admire how great an actress Melissa Peterman is, I mean my...GOD!!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone else love what Danny does when Ben here's what his grandmother said about his daughter. Total older sibling move.
Amy Raymont what?? When I never saw that can you please tell me the time of the video when it happened? Thanks!
R u r talking about when he shut ben' mouth in the bathroom to not let him say something bad to Bonnie??
Tbh Danny has Always been a good brother towards ben
At 4:08 you can see Danny put his hand on Bens knee for a couple seconds
@@toshabrown7583 that wasn't Ben's knee that was his own, I thought the same thing till I looked back
Melissa Peterman is such amazing actress. she plays this so well
Just finished rewatching this whole show and this scene is the most emotional scene in the entire show.
I also loved they gave her a serious moment .
This was the most emotional scene in baby daddy. I can't think of another one that's more emotional than this.
I cant stop watching this scene. One of my favorite scenes on the show💖
What episode
this is my favorite episode because it gets us to get to know Bonnie and why she the way she is as a mom and greandmother.
This was a great scene, especially since the show hardly ever had extensive serious moments like this. We got to see a new side of Bonnie and it was great to see the boys comforting her and appreciating her and vice versa.

THIS SCENE MAKES ME LOVE MY MOTHER EVEN MORE
Marcedes Allen God bless you.
@Dragoslav De La Vega oh reallyyy? i though this clip was about a beautiful happy mother daughter relationship 😃 never would’ve guessed if you hadn’t said it.
When Bonnie's mother took that phone call after saying she was gonna try to do better proved Bonnie's point of how terrible of a mother she is.
This scene alone is what made me stand up to my brother who wasn’t a great brother either.
2:22 - 4:04 definition of acting right here. I miss this show. It was such fun to watch!

Bonnie may have her flaws but she has her good moments too and this one is by far her best one.
This scene was just so heartbreaking ! That show that there's more in Bonnie than just a mother and grandmother ! She's a fighter
Don’t you just love how she said she was gonna be the perfect grandmother to Emma and then she literally gets a phone call and ditches them and then you never see her again
Great Grandma
Well said Bonnie well said way to go .
"You don't get to have this family, they're mine"
PSA; She's talking about Tucker and Riley as well as Ben, Danny and Emma. Because they all come as a package
This scene solidified Bonnie being my fave character on Baby Daddy. I literally cried watching this scene it was emotional
This was epic Bonnie handled the whole thing better most would have. Bonnie let her mom know exactly what she felt
This episode made me cry and made me appreciate my mom even more!!!!
Haley O'Banion I can’t remember what season it is, but it’s when Bonnie’s mom comes to visit.
This was really eye opening for me seeing Bonnie for who she is and why she does the things she does
Bonnie slayed
preach baby girl preach 🙏 i felt soooo bad for bonnie here this was soooo powerful 😢
2:07 is where the scene bonnie spilled her heart out! thank me later
Bonnie may not be good at a lot of things but she’s a GREAT mother. She supported her son when he did hockey. She supported her sons first child and was there when Ben was scared to be a father♥️
This scene is very emotional and once of my favorite scenes of the whole show.
Me seeing this Crying
4:11 “can we take a five I’m gonna call my mother”
Me😭😆
This is a real mother!
Loved this scene! I love Melissa Peterman, and for her to do this scene the way she did this scene, makes me love her more! She really outdid herself here!!!!
Favorite scene in the entire show
I cried the first 2 times I saw this
I still tear up 😂
my heart 💔💔💔...
Bonnie deserves so much better...
Melissa's acting here is EPIC, and I could literally FEEL what she left, just by her acting. jesus. give this woman a fucking MEDAL, or i will
I can watch this over and over again and still get goosebumps every time.
they need to bring this show back!! 😭💖
that speech was amazingggg
I watched this for the first time and thought "damn Melissa peterman can act"
I love Bonnie wheeler to bits and I would have hated to go through what Bonnie went through x
Unfortunately it happens to alot of teenage mothers
I cant believe this amazingshow got canceled.
Being someone who has a cruel and selfish mother, I can really relate to Bonnie.
I loved this scene
Love this scene - so so relatable!
Can someone please give her an Oscar or Academy award please?!
Bonnie is by farrrrr the best character
the feels in the scene, felt so freaky real
Watching this scene is like seeing my abuilita (grandma) and my mother fighting. So yeah my mom can relate to Bonnie
What a brilliantly written speech, the way it was constructed, was phenomenal paired with Melissa's talent it really went well. that's why she's my favorite character💓🙌
beautiful simply beautiful
She is goofy.but she has a good heart and loved her family.
The best acting I’ve ever seen
Wow! This scene what makes baby daddy awesome 👍👏👏👏
Rewatching this after watching Reba, I can tell they gave Bonnie a twist on Cheyenne's teen pregnancy. Where she's the one that went to live with her husband's family & disowned by her own.
I get chills every time I watch this scene🥺

Bens face at the first scene of Riley and Tucker - was like "TF is this???"
Doing this scene for an audition and can’t wait
Good luck!
Sooo... 2 years later, how did you do? Did you get the part?
Nicely done Bonnie letting her mom know that her mom was horrible !
I feel so sorry for Bonnie she doesn't deserve a heartless woman who called herself a mother
powerful moment . loved it
That line "You cold, heartless and liquor filled excuse for a mother" really hits home with me because it perfectly describes my own mother.
Come to think of it, Bonnie’s mom was pretty shameless to hug and act as a nice grandma to her grandchildren and great-grandchild after talking s*** in their backs and saying their births were embarrassments
The acting was perfect👍
They do drama on this show so well
No one is perfect but you as a mother should have never disowned your daughter at one of the most crucial time when she needed you the most.
Pls y’all have me crying at work
Only one word can describe this, EPIC
This scene was everything.
I literally CRIED the first time I watched this
5:31
My god. I gotta call my mom too
😭
IT was prob one of the best scenes
2:07 is where it starts
Melissa Peterman is a very amazing actress.
I felt every piece of that scene. 💖💖💖💖💖
That ending tho
This just shows how of a good mother she is. She looks like shes heartbroken💔💔💔💔💔💔
Way to go to the writers for creating this powerful scene, and way to go Melissa Petermen on her delivery.!!
