To join Indian Air Force Academy, aspirants have to pass CDS (Combined Defence Services Exam) or AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test). The cadets are admitted to Stage 0. Whereas the ex-cadets from NDA are directly admitted to Stage 1. Cadets who join through CDS and AFCAT have to do an additional training of 6 months to be at par with ex-cadets of NDA.
Mudit is all set to leave his hometown and begin his journey for AFA Hyderabad. Cadets have to first report at the Secunderabad station counter and head to Air Force Academy after documentation and security check. Thank you veer by discovery for lighting a fire of josh and enthusiasm in me for serving my nation and I am sure that I will once become a fighter pilot in indian air force.It is not only my dream but it is my goal and I will surely achieve it because I am now in class 9 but It became my dream when I saw hawk aircrafts roaring in sky.

I have a few tips to help you achieve your dream as fighter pilot.
Make sure you take science stream PCM in 11th and 12th. This is very important.
Secondly, I would advise you to study English thoroughly and work on physical fitness.
I know this because I am giving AFCAT next year and my only regret is that I didn't take science in 11th 12th so I cannot be a fighter pilot but I will still serve my country in ground duty. Study and work hard, you will definitely succeed!
