    Put a huge smile on my face to see a girl so young teaching 3D printing/engineering. This kind of self-confidence and skills early in life will do more for you than you can possibly imagine. 💙🎉Congrats! Keep helping others and finding things you enjoy to work on and you'll go far.

    WOW! What an articulate young lady. Viewed your three videos and I have to say that you and your brother are doing an excellent job with the recording and editing. I’m just getting ready to get into 3d printing and I found your videos both entertaining and instructional.
    Keep up the good work and I can’t wait for your next video

    I often watch RUclips videos about printers and printing. I often fall asleep halfway through or earlier. Not so with your videos, to the point and very informative. It shows that your knowledge is very solid and you bring it over very well. I love your videos, I want more. So detailed and well explained. In my book, this is a direct drive extruder system with a not-so-full metal hot end. It prints well and makes filament change very easy. I added a $ 6 full metal extruder just because I had one.

    I like your tutorials, thank you so much, please a word of warning, never hold the object to be drilled in your hand, use a bench vice, if the object catches on the bit, it will spin resulting in severe lacerations and possibly cutting of tendons in your hand. I have witnessed the damage myself and attended the ER.

    Aurora tutorials are the most comprehensive and simplest to follow. You helped me thru Ender 5 starting setup and some upgrades. Have you taken a look at the OMG v2-s dual gear extruder? I think it would be great on Ender 5. Btw behind the scene is fun and natural. Thank you for the tutorials.

    Thanks for sharing Aurora, I would like to know if the ender 3 direct drive extruder kit is compatible and possible to install into a 3d printer Two Trees Bluer plus, you know say me?

    • @AuroraTech
      @AuroraTech  3 года назад

      The bluer plus direct drive conversion requires much more works, I would suggest replacing the stock bowden tube to a SHORTER Capricorn tube to improve retractions.

    not really a direct drive extruder. This is more of a super short bowden tube.. Warping of the tube or trying to use PTFE will be difficult without melting it.

    • @AuroraTech
      @AuroraTech  3 года назад +4

      Yes, you are right, a super short bowden tube almost direct extruder, just like those from Creality and Micro-Swiss, they are all with a short bowden tube.

    • @bobcarwell9172

      Any benefits of the true direct drive extruder (brands ?) over the "short bowden tube" "almost direct extruders" ?@@AuroraTech

  • @ThatHippyDuck
    @ThatHippyDuck 2 года назад

    bowden tubes are a scam. pure trash. i've got both types of extruders... i've had NOTHING but trouble with bowden tubes. ridiculous design.
